We’ve already seen that Killer is Dead’s main character Mondo Zappa is quite the ladies’ man and we’ve been introduced to a few of these “Mondo Girls” as well. However it seems that Grasshopper is planning on giving launch day buyers an extra bonus.
Today it was revealed that a girl named Betty who is described as a beauty from Eastern Europe will be a DLC code that will be included in all first run copies of the game. To accentuate this bonus, all first copies will also include a code for a special pair of sunglasses named Gigolo Glasses that will allow him to see through the girls’ clothing. Currently it is unknown whether or not these first-run bonuses will be included in XSEED’s North American release.
While it has always taken then a few months longer than normal, the Harvest Moon games have always ended up in PAL territories eventually. However it seems that the latest game in the series, Harvest Moon: A New Beginning may not be coming over with the help of Rising Star Games.
Instead a rating by Germany’s USK has listed the publisher as Zen-United, the company which usually handles Blazblue in Europe. This is certainly a surprising change considering the Harvest Moon titles have been handled in the PAL regions by Rising Star Games since 2004. At the moment it is currently unknown whether or not this listing can be trusted, but it is certainly interesting.
It looks like the next round of news for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be unveiled in a little over a week on May 19th. The Pokémon website, as translated by Serebii, has announced that the May 19th episode of Pokémon Smash will feature Game Freak director Junichi Masuda as a guest and he will be revealing plenty of new information throughout the episode.
It is interesting to note that the Japanese magazine CoroCoro Comic which also has been known to reveal Pokémon news may contain a number of these announcements. But either way, keep an eye out for some new Pokémon info over the next week.

My pick for Deal of the Week is 50% off for Defianceat Nuuvem! Nuuvem is a Brazilian retailer and the site is in Portuguese so I recommend using Google Translate. The game itself is the English version. This is my pick of the week because this is the cheapest price for Defiance by far. Most prices for the game range from 20-30% off.
Defiance itself is an excellent MMO shooter. It suffered from a buggy release, but Trion World has been busy patching the game. Defiance the game ties in with Defiance the show on the SyFy network. So far the tie ins have involved simpler activities like finding lore related tape decks scattered across the world, but a new contest that will put the winner’s avatar on the show is currently running. The show has recently been signed for a second season. Be sure to read our full reviewof Defiance.
The price is pretty good and frankly I think Black Ops II has some of the best multiplayer since CoD 4. I hated the single player campaign though. Be sure to check out our review.
This game will see a permanent price drop to $9.99 after the sale. Check out our review here.
Greenman Gaming is running two coupons this week. Use GMG20-GGN5D-FC3NA for 20% off most titles including sales and GMG25-5GT67-87HJ9 for 25% off several pre-order titles.
I highly recommend Hitman: Absolution. The Professional Edition really isn’t worth the extra content unless you like extra guns. Check out our review here.
Be sure to use the code elder-geek.com for an additional 5% off. I highly recommend scooping up Dishonoredand Skyrim. Both have recently seen a price drop and with the sale come out to $15.00 each. This is the absolute lowest price for both games. Check out the review for Dishonored here.
Defiance@ 30% off [Windows – Trion Worlds Launcher]
For those willing to purchase the game from Brazil, Nuuvemis running a much better deal.
I would recommend Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and Red River for those looking for a more realistic FPS than Call of Duty and Battlefield but found ArmA to be too realistic
The bundle contains Dragon Age: Origins, the Awakening expansion pack, and Dragon Age 2. The first game is one of the must play RPGs, however many consider 2 to pale in the face of the first game, but this is one of the cheapest prices for the games.
Contains Bioshock, Borderlands, CivCity: Rome, Civilization III Complete, Civilization IV: The Complete Collection, Civilization V, Sid Meier’s Pirates!, and X-COM Pack. A ton of excellent games, many that are classics. If you can afford the bundle, do pick it up.

In a world where a Massively Multiplayer Online Real Cash Economy is an actual thing, you can imagine that there has to be a number one, a top dog just like in any economy. This honor is currently held by MindArk AB, the absolute largest operator of any MMORCE, and they have announced something a little hard to believe. A newly discovered moon in their title Entropia Universe for PC has sold for 1.5 million PED, the in-game currency, which translates into a whopping $150, 000 real currency.
This may sound like a waste of money for an in-game item, but bidder Jan Terje Egeland sees it as an investment like any other. As with a real land investment, Egeland will get a return through revenue sharing with the developer on any and all activity on his moon; i.e. other players uses, recruiting other players and gaining revenue that they produce in the entire game universe. And as a glimpse into how they work with players, he will also work with MindArk on the development and design of Egeland’s moon.
Once his investment, named Monria, is up and running, he will assume the role of operator and the surface will have caves with unique minerals, lunar command and habitats and can be expected to be open second or third quarter 2013.
