Fairy Tail anime slated to return

fairy-tail-anime-returning
After several months having passed since the Fairy Tail anime concluded with a ‘to be continued’ title card, it has been confirmed that Fairy Tail will return with a second anime series continuing where the first left off.

Hiro Mashima the mangaka behind the popular shonen series had hinted several times since the anime series end that there would be good news coming soon. Not only that but he did the seemingly impossible and completed over 150 pages of material in the span of two weeks.

No other information is known on the exact date of return for the Fairy Tail anime, but stay tuned for further updates as they come to light.

It’s arrived people, the long awaited J-World Tokyo made its grand opening in the Sunshine City World Import Mart Yesterday, and my word is it going to rock.

The indoor theme park offers various attractions all relating to popular series featured in Weekly Shonen Jump, including Naruto, One Piece and, Dragon Ball Z, of course. The theme park also features a café area and offers Shonen Jump inspired dishes like the delectable One Piece fish burger.

NHL 94 Anniversary Mode Announced for NHL 14

nhl-14-94mode-01

Finally, a sports game doing something different. I am of course speaking of the upcoming NHL 14, which will now include NHL 94 Anniversary Mode. Today EA Sports made the announcement that the hockey favorite would include the bonus mode, which will be a modernized version of the classic that hit shelves 20 years ago.

Details are as follows:

NHL 94 Anniversary Mode takes uses classic button controls to deliver big goals, bigger hits and spectacular speed, taking fun to a whole new level. The mode also offers nods to its hockey video gaming roots through a retro presentation style including blue ice, classic star-shaped player indicators, organ music and a few more surprises. Recognized as one of the most popular games of its era and the title that put the NHL videogame franchise on the map, NHL 94 Anniversary Mode gives another generation of players a new way to play old school hockey.

I am all for this blast of EA flavored nostalgia, and you can watch the very excited trailer below speak for the mode, and get a look at the crazy gameplay that will be included with this sweet little extra down below in the brand new trailer. NHL 14 will release September 10th.

The logo of the restaurant “Baratie”.

If you’ve seen or read Shonen Jump’s One Piece anime or manga or even if you’re just a fan who knows a whole bunch about the series, much like myself, you’ll know that there’s a particular floating restaurant where the Straw Hat Crew originally met their chef Sanji who work at the restaurant as…you guessed it…a chef! Well be prepared because that floating dreamland called Baratie is no long just a fictional restaurant because ever since late June (the 28th of June to be exact) there has been a restaurant, yes here in the real world, that was entirely based of off the one from One Piece.

Some of the fine food you can get at Baratie.
Some of the fine food you can get at Baratie.

Now although this one isn’t a floating establishment it IS located on the rooftop garden area of the Fuji TV building in Odaiba, Tokyo and since the interior has been revealed all of us not in Japan get to see what the inside of this place looks like. The restaurant’s exterior resembles the hull of the Baratie from the anime and manga, to enter the establishment customers pass through the bow of Sabagashira I which is the ship’s mobile attack unit.

The interior of the place is just as incredible as the exterior, it’s filled with some grand details like: A statue of Sanji welcoming customers, a map of the One Piece world plastered on the ceiling, an array of legendary cooking ingredients that all fans would remember from the series. It is said that, at times, Zeff (The main chef of the restaurant in the series) will make an appearance and throughout your meal the voices of both Sanji and Luffy can be heard in the ships galley. The menu follows from the adventures of the Straw Hat Crew and actually change monthly to keep up to date with their adventure for One Piece. So naturally the first menu will be based on the East Blue story arc.

The “Baratie” restaurant is open daily from 10:30 am until 10:00pm, obviously, with varying hours depending on special events and holidays. If you’re living in Tokyo, or heading there soon, go and check out this awesome jump into the world of One Piece, if you’ve already been to the “Baratie” restaurant let us know what it was like in our comments section below.
