If you’ve seen or read Shonen Jump’sĀ One Piece anime or manga or even if you’re just a fan who knows a whole bunch about the series, much like myself, you’ll know that there’s a particular floating restaurant where the Straw Hat Crew originally met their chef Sanji who work at the restaurant as…you guessed it…a chef! Well be prepared because that floating dreamland called Baratie is no long just a fictional restaurant because ever since late June (the 28th of June to be exact) there has been a restaurant, yes here in the real world, that was entirely based of off the one from One Piece.

Now although this one isn’t a floating establishment it IS located on the rooftop garden area of the Fuji TV building in Odaiba, Tokyo and since the interior has been revealed all of us not in Japan get to see what the inside of this place looks like. The restaurant’s exterior resembles the hull of the Baratie from the anime and manga, to enter the establishment customers pass through the bow of Sabagashira I which is the ship’s mobile attack unit.

The interior of the place is just as incredible as the exterior, it’s filled with some grand details like: A statue of Sanji welcoming customers, a map of the One Piece world plastered on the ceiling, an array of legendary cooking ingredients that all fans would remember from the series. It is said that, at times, Zeff (The main chef of the restaurant in the series) will make an appearance and throughout your meal the voices of both Sanji and Luffy can be heard in the ships galley. The menu follows from the adventures of the Straw Hat Crew and actually change monthly to keep up to date with their adventure for One Piece. So naturally the first menu will be based on the East Blue story arc.
