Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes DLC incoming

Ubisoft’s puzzle/strategy/RPG game, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes has been on our favorite games of the year. And now, we have just learned that there will be DLC for the game. Coming to the XBLA, PSN and PC, the DLC will be named “I Am the Boss.”

While playing through the DLC, your character will be one of the four bosses. For example, you can pick Azexes, Count Carlyle, Ludmilla or Azh-Rafir to play in Quick Battle modes or multiplayer.

The main game on PC now has a release date of September 22 and people who preorder the game from the Ubishop for the PC will receive the DLC for free. Prices and release dates for the other versions of the DLC have not yet been confirmed.

Anarchy Reigns Multiplayer combat modes detailed in latest trailer

Anarchy Reigns has more to it than a whole ton of interesting characters. Well, actually it has a literal ton of those, but it also has some multiplayer combat as evidenced in the latest trailer released by Sega and Platinum Games. In this video we are shown the deathmatch mode where four players are able to fight against one another in a huge free for all battle.

With the multiple over the top moves each character has, this combat can easily be seen as some of the most fun 3rd person online brawling you can have, especially when the game advertises approaching and attacking from behind. There is more than just deathmatch however, there is also a survival mode where you must survive with your friends against waves of enemies and some mode that looks like it involves soccer of some kind. Catch the video below and Anarchy Reigns sometime in 2012!

Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon arrives on PSN and XBLA on August 31st

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard about Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon. So far in fact that it may had slipped the minds of many gamers that it even was in development. But you better kick your brain back into your head because Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon has just gotten a price as well as a release date. 345 Games and Comedy Central revealed that the game will be available on August 30th for PSN users and August 31st on the XBLA for $9.99 or 800 MSP respectively.

The title will have all the original voice actors from the show and the story is a script penned by the original writer Devin Clark so you know that this will be a quality Ugly Americans title. Dan Yang, general maanger of 345 Games says that they have worked hard to make Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon a “combination of addicting gameplay and the comedic sensibilities.” The title will feature twin stick shooter gameplay and allow up to four players to play at one time.

Star Wars Kinect gets some fresh screenshots

Despite a rather week showing at E3, Star Wars Kinect may just be a title that should be given a second look. Earlier today Microsoft and Lucas Arts revealed some new screenshots for the title which actually make the title look quite tolerable, if I day say enjoyable to play.

Of course there is still the worry that the title may end up being a Star Wars game that is more or less on rails, but hopefully that won’t be the case. In these screenshots we see some Jedi vs Droid combat, a rampaging rancor and even some pod racing. Check out the screenshots below and remember this game is only for the Kinect owning Xbox 360 owners.

Catherine to be released October 31st in Australia

Our friends in Australia have suffered a terrible misfortune… they have yet to get a chance to play Atlus’ Catherine yet! Though Catherine is being brought to Europe by Deep Silver, no one remembered to bring Catherine down under, that is until GAME in Australia and EB Games decided to update their websites with the game for pre-order.

Although EB Games doesn’t list what company will be bringing the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of the titles to Australia, GAME lists that the localizer is QV Software. Of course until something is confirmed either by Atlus or by QV Software this can be taken with a grain of salt, but two listings can’t really be wrong can they? Especially when they both list the Australian price of $99.95 and details about the game itself.

Battlefield 3 screenshots are pretty slick

Electronic Arts was full of announcements and media releases at Gamescom today. Our esteemed Senior Editor Travis Bruno already posted the Battlefield 3 trailer from Gamescom, which you can view here. However, EA also released 8 brand new screenshots for the game. And these screenshots are quite beautiful. They are pretty enough to make most console and PC owners go out and pre-order the game right now. Will you be getting the next hot FPS from EA? Check out the gallery below and then let us know your decision. We anxiously await your reply. Well go on. Take a look!

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record Achievements Revealed; New Trailer Rocks Gamescom..

As many of you are aware, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record ships out October 11th, and will place Frank West in Fortune City as he uses his trusty camera to get a fresh take on the zombie outbreak. Seeing how the game is now under two months away from hitting the Xbox 360 & PS3, Capcom brought out a fresh trailer for the game at Gamescom which shows Frank West giving us the rundown on how to get the best composition and create the perfect photo.

Xbox360Achievements.org also brought out a full list of Achievements for the game, with some requiring tasks such as taking an “erotic” picture, crossdressing, and having frank take a dose of Zombrex. You can check out those achievements HERE (But be warned these might contain spoilers!), and watch the clip below to be schooled by Mr. West himself.

Sims 3 adds Pets to the mix

The only thing missing from Electronic Art’s most recent “life simulation” game was Pets. However, all will be rectified soon. DLC featuring dogs, cats, and horses, each with their own unique personalities will be coming to the PC. There is even a magical pet that you can have in the game that is not available in real life. We will give you a hint as to its identity: it has a horn. Can you figure it out? No cheating and watching the trailer below first either!

And would someone please answer us this: Where do animals come from? This video seems to indicate a strange, non-organic toaster-like thing is responsible for their appearance, but that’s not what we learned in health class. Strange.
