Sanji’s Special Cake For The Ladies

One-Piece-Sanji-Cake-Pic

The head chef for the Straw Hat Pirates has created a special wedding styled cake for all of his real life female fans, which will be on sale through the Bandai online store in Japan.

The two layered Gateau Decore Je T’aime cake looks pretty delectable; the top layer covered in what appears to be blueberries and strawberry jam, with a ring of orange slices around the second layer. All of this is topped off blobs of icing and a ribbon of pink icing to wrap the whole thing up. As if this wasn’t a gift enough, the cake also comes with a small figurine of the One Piece cook, who is also holding a smaller version of the cake in his right hand.

As delicious as it may look the cake does come frozen and it is only 9cm high with a 15cm diameter, which is pretty small compared to its 3,500 Yen (35USD) price tag. Pre orders can be made now through the Bandai online store and the cake is expected to ship in October.

Let us know in the comments what you think about this One Piece cake, and what other anime food items you would like to see be made.

Voice Cast of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Revealed

As was the case with the last few LEGO games to be released, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will feature fully voiced characters, over 100 of them. With so many playable characters it stands to reason the the list of voice actors is fairly long and it really is. Just released today from developer TT Games, publisher Warner Bros., and Marvel is the list of voice actors that will be present in the game.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will feature Laura Bailey, Dee Bradley Baker, Troy Baker, John Bentley, JB Blanc, Dave Boat, Steve Blum, Greg Cipes, Jeff Combs, John DiMaggio, Robin Atkin Downes, Clark Gregg, James Horan, Andrew Kishino, Phil LaMarr, Yuri Lowenthal, Danielle Nicolet, Nolan North, Adrian Pasdar, Roger Craig Smith, David Sobolov, Tara Strong, Fred Tatasciore, James Arnold Taylor, Kari Wahlgren, Travis Willingham, and last but not least Stan “The Man” Lee himself.

Man, that is quite an info dump, but it doesn’t list just who will be voicing whom, so let speculation begin. Will Nolan North and Steve Blum be portraying Deadpool and Wolverine respectively like in the new Deadpool game (Review here)? Who will be filling the voices for Howard the Duck and Punisher? Will Clark Gregg be able to make his LEGO Agent Coulson as awesome as movie Agent Coulson via voice alone? All pretty important questions, so be sure to voice your opinions in the comments below.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is currently set to release in autumn (spring for those down under) for a huge selection of systems. Those wanting to get their hands on this LEGO game will be able to find it for handhelds Nintendo DS,  Nintendo 3DS, andPS Vita; consoles Xbox 360PS3Wii UXbox One, and PS4; and PC.

Cyber Monster II Classes Revealed

Cyber-Monster-II-02

Leading online games publisher and Game321.com operator NGames, responsible for great games like Divines of East, is excited to reveal the classes and first character customization details for their new upcoming browser based MMORGCyber Monster II – New World Awaits.

Cyber Monster II takes place a few hundred years after the events of Cyber Monster, the original game, promising new game mechanics with new vibrant graphics. After the peace of Nezor is shattered by the return of powerful dragons, players must join forces and combine their skills before the beasts reach the inner cities.

Cyber-Monsters-II-03

NGames revealed Cyber Monster II’s three major classes today. The three classes revealed were Warrior, Mage and Ranger, each coming with unique fighting styles, attributes, motives and skills.

Warriors, destined to be the main fighting force, are blessed by God, inheriting the power of Earth, allowing them to inflict immense damage on their enemies. Warriors are able to utilize their skills on the front line by using their Bladestorm and Cruel Swordsmanship to hack away at their enemies defenses. Not only can Warriors take the force of their opponents, they are able to raise their defense and max HP by 2% with each level by using their passive skills.

Cyber-Monster-II-01

Rangers are swift and nimble, and with their power and accuracy combined they are able to deal fatal damage to their opponents.  A Rangers Poison Arrow attack can cause deadly damage over a long duration of time, while their Pierce Shot can slice through multiple enemies lined up in a column. Not unlike the other major classes, Rangers have impressive passive abilities. When Precise and Foresee skills are used, Rangers evasion and critical hit are raised by 2% each level.

And last but not least, Mages. Mages main goal is to defeat the giant dragon. Those of the Mages that remain are small in number, however their strength is absolutely devastating. Their skills, such as Arcane Blast, Arcane Windstorm and Flamestore deal paralyzing and mass damaging effects, while their passive, like Best Attack and Trigger Magic raise both speed and damage by 2% per level.

Cyber-Monsters-II-04

All the classes have plenty of character attributes for Cyber Monster II players to increase. Although each character hold the same essential attributes (like HP, Attack, Defense, Crit. Hit and Speed), there are special traits that each represent a class’ specific power. Gold, Elements, EXP points and Crystals are all tools that players are able to use to improve and customize their character’s level, pets, equipment and mounts.

NGames will be revealing more information on Cyber Monster II: New World Awaits in the next coming weeks, in the meantime, find out more information about the characters here.

Saints Row IV Struts Animal Protection Act

Saints Row IV kicked off its Hail to the Chief series of videos way back in May, but took a two month break to show off other videos, conventions, and retail editions. Though developer Volition and publisher Deep Silver didn’t forget about the series of videos completely as today marks the release of the second in the line of four videos.

The second video focuses on the Animal Protection Act that it would seem the game’s President of the United States has endorsed, which of course means the usage of the superpowered Stomp to decrease the size of anyone around. One of the many new powers in Saints Row IV, Stomp is sure to be a smash when wanting to make a larger than life appearance. The video also offers insight as to the releases of the rest of the Hail to the Chief video series.

Those wanting to see the Stomp in action can watch the trailer for themselves embedded below. Saints Row IV will be serving the masses on August 20th, 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

New Studio Ghibli Film Kaze Tachinu Released in Japanese Theatres

Kaze-Tachinu

Japanese anime fans poured into theatres in their thousands this past weekend, to watch the latest in a long line of monumental Studio Ghibli films. Ghibli, best known for such classic anime as My Neighbour Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Spirited Away are widely considered one of the most influential anime companies of all time. Recently, they worked on the Nintendo DS and PS3 game created by Level-5 and published by Namco Bandai, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Ni no Kuni was a surprise hit across both platforms, scoring 8 capsules out of 10 in our review.

Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises) is a fictional take on the life of Jiro Horikoshi, the man who designed the famous World War 2 Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter aircraft. This aircraft was original known as a tremendous dogfighter, but later in the war its reputation was darkened by the terrible kamikaze attacks on allied ships during the War in the Pacific.

Whether this new work by the “Disney of Japan” has been well received is hard to say. It is a much more serious production than a lot of their previous works and it definitely seems that adults enjoyed it considerably more than children. Younger viewers have called the film dull, but early reviews are suggesting that its sombre nature makes it more comparable to the early Ghibli film Grave of the Fireflies which is a masterpiece in its own right.

Kaze Tachinu was released in Japanese theatres on Saturday and we eagerly await licensing announcements to bring this title overseas. Be sure to check out trailer below and further details on the official website here.

Ultra Street Fighter IV Second Trailer

Ultra-Street-Fighter-IV-Poison-Artwork

While just last week Capcom announced the upcoming Ultra Street Fighter IV with a debut trailer, now they are showing off their second trailer for the game from San Diego Comic Con. With 5 new characters, only four having been shown off so far, will the new trailer pave the way for the fifth and final?

Well from the trailer it looks like the answer is no, in fact this second trailer is a lot like the first trailer for Ultra Street Fighter 4, just without the splash screens of features. There are a few more snippets of combat from the game as well, but overall not nearly enough to sate a true Street Fighter fan.

Those wanting to see what little more they can from the trailer or those that missed the first one, can find the new trailer embedded below. Announced for released in early 2014, Ultra Street Fighter IV will be releasing for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC with both digital and retail versions.
