Get a Free Game With Purchase of New 3DS in Australia

misty-pink-3ds-official

Club Nintendo is a great thing, and finally – Australia is getting some love due to the “Great Games” Promotion. This little offer gives buyers of the original 3DS a chance of their own to strike gold, with a handful of games being given away for free as long as the system is bought between now and July 31st. After that, you simply have to register your system through the service by September, and pick out Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, and nintendogs + cats: Toy Poodle & New Friends.

Sounds great, right? Well, it is nice to see Nintendo try to continue the giving to those who want that smaller handheld, and while XL buyers may feel shafted, this promotion seems to only benefit rather than take away.

The rookies of the Pokemon world at this point in time. X and Y Starters.

We’ve heard that the next episode of the incredibly awesome Pokemon Smash has been labelled as a “Pokemon X and Y Special” which means we’ll be hearing a bit more about the upcoming Pokemon Generation X and Y. The episode is to air next week on the 16th of June and will be featuring the director of the Pokemon games Junichi Masuda.

As of right now we don’t exactly know what information will be released. It is said to follow on from the Pokemon X and Y E3 2013 Roundtable that is happening on tuesday. This means that the show could just be a bit of a recap of what was spoken about or it could give us new info on the game that maybe didn’t make it to E3. At this point in time there’s only small bits of speculation but come next week we will definitely have some new info, big or small, on the X and Y games.

Keep an eye on the site for, not only, Pokemon news but news from E3 as it’s released and don’t forget to hit our comments section below and tell us what you think.
