michelangelo-tmnt-oots

Red Fly Studio and Activision released a brand new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows today. The nunchaku wielding Michelangelo, the youngest of the four brothers, is the star of the trailer. Normally the slacking party animal, Michelangelo shows off his extremely agile form of fighting, based around evasion and large combos in this new trailer. He has the lowest single target damage but compensates with a blazing fast attack speed.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be released this summer for Steam, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade. Find out more at the official Facebook page.

Sean Schemmel and Kyle Hebert to Return for DBZ Kai Buu Saga

DBZ-Buu-Saga-01
That’s right people, Sean Schemmel and Kyle Hebert, the English voice actors for Goku and Gohan respectively, have both announced that they have begun recording for the Buu Saga.

Dragonball Z Kai, known simply as Dragonball Kai in Japan, summarises the 1989-1996 anime series in order to more closely follow Akira Toriyama’s original Dragonball manga, featuring digital high-definition remastering, a re-recorded soundtrack and some re-animated scenes.

The English dub of Kai originally aired on Nicktoons, but has since been removed after entering its second run, though Funimation has released the series on Blu Ray and DVD. No word yet on when the new episodes will air, as Hebert himself added to the reveal that he was unable to announce any release or broadcast dates at this time.

Guillermo Del Toro To Develop “Monster” Manga Show

Monster-Screen-01
Entertainment news website Deadline reported Wednesday that Director Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim, Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy) is currently developing the manga Monster into a possible television series for HBO. Monster is a suspense Manga originally created by Naoki Urasawa. Del Toro will partner up with Doctor Who’s Steven Thompson to write the pilot that Del Toro will direct.

Deadline’s Description of the story:

The thriller is about the worldwide search by a young doctor for the most evil sociopath that has ever lived. He is a 12-year old boy, and the doctor’s decision to save his life has unwittingly unleashed a Pandora’s Box that leaves the doc battling to stop a plot of mass genocide.

Don Murphy and Susan Montford will be, along with Del Toro, as executive producers. Thompson (noted above) will serve as co-executive producer and Shogakukan, the original mangas publisher, will be a consulting producer which is great for original fans of the manga because it means the development team are trying as hard as they can to get this as close to the manga as possible. That’s a good sign.

New Line Cinema had the feature film rights to Monster back in 2005, they even had a lead writer assigned (Josh Olson, Batman Gotham Knight) yet it went nowhere because, Deadline reported, the project grew far too big for a feature film or two. Urasawa was convinced by Del Toro to let him handle the project and here we are.

Fire And Forget: The Final Assault First Screenshots

Fire-Forget-Remake-04
Let’s just go back to the 80’s for five minutes and talk about this.

The original Fire and Forget was released back in 1988, yes, 1988 by publisher Titus Interactive. The original game was released on the Amiga, Commodore 64, Amastrad and the atari, basically a whole bunch of old consoles that are severely outdated. No need to worry though because a French publisher, Anuman Interactive, under Joystick Replay, has done us all a favor and remade this game!

Fire And Forget: The Final Assault is the remake that is slated for release on May the 16th, so not too far away, on the PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and android. The very first set of screenshots have just been released and, let me tell you, they look damn good!

You can see all the new screenshots in the Gallery Section below but before you jump let me just show you a comparison that will pump you up just that little bit more:
