Two Tribes are launching Toki Tori 2+ on Steam as of tomorrow, but the little dev team want to give you one last taste before making the plunge. The screenshots released today show our little bird friend jumping in portals, dodging electricity, and getting carried away, and just like the Wii U version, things are definitely looking up for this PC port.
Of course there will be plenty of extra content and fixes that the Wii U version already seen, so if you have yet to make the jump, check the game out tomorrow when it releases. You can check out our review for the original Toki Tori 2here in the meantime.
If you thought Treyarch and Activision were done with Black Ops II, you would be wrong as even more content has been dated for the Playstation 3 and PC versions of the game, bringing new maps and modes to the much loved FPS. Of course this also means new weaponry and a bit more story, so fans should be happy to know that the Vengeance map pack will be releasing on August 1st.
Here are some details on the maps, as well as the extras that will come with the map pack:
Cove: The stage is set for all-out conflict on this small, forgotten island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, with players battling it out amongst the wreckage of a jet that crash-landed during a smuggling operation gone wrong.
Detour: A destroyed suspension bridge, high above an East Coast waterway, packed with scattered vehicles, exposed iron and collapsed pavement where the head-to-head action will play out on multiple levels.
Rush: Get ready for fast, close-quarters engagements in this paintball course turned full-combat arena, giving players new opportunities and challenges to use the cover to their advantage.
Uplink: In this re-imagined adaptation of the fan-favorite multiplayer map “Summit” from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, players clash deep in the rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar, high atop a hi-tech mountain facility.
Treyarch continues to expand the Zombies story world in imaginative, mind-tripping ways with “Buried.” Once players meet up with the four survivors of Tranzit, they’ll begin to encounter the undead residents of an abandoned underground Old West mining town. A healthy arsenal of equipment and weapons will be at players’ disposal, but with one very special addition – something so powerful it will also appear in all other Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies maps (with the purchase of Vengeance DLC) – the Ray Gun Mark II.
Season pass owners will be able to download Vengeance at launch, while it will cost $14.99 for the general public. Call of Duty: Ghosts is headed this way in just a few months, so hopefully this can hold us all over until then.

Piracy and the Nintendo 3Ds is an issue that’s been plaguing the system for years, but there may be changing coming with a Japanese judge today ruling that three companies distributing R4 flash cartridges guilty, and now must pay Nintendo and another 49 Japanese publishers nearly $1 million in damages.
The court ruled in favour of the Japanese video games publishers which includes Capcom, Namco Bandai, Konami, Square Enix, and D3 in a lawsuit against three Tokyo-based retailors: Seafort Japan, Mediaforce, and Magical Company.
The court found all three guilty under the Unfair Competition Prevention Act and must now pay up ¥95,620,005 (approx. US $945,873) in damages to 50 plaintiffs made up of Japan’s major video game publishers.
For those you who don’t know what R4 flash cartridges are, they’re essentially mini hard drives designed for the Nintendo DS, which allow for pirated games downloaded off the internet to be played on the handheld console.
R4 devices are illegal in Japan after the Japanese government passed laws to block such devices in November 2012, after many years of attempting to do so. But that didn’t stop some companies from stocking and selling them, which lead to this lawsuit being taken against them.

Remember the ‘Cracked for Cash‘ trailer we shared last week, that promised a random ATM in Canada would spew money if a Watch_Dogs Live app user cracked a code? Well, it happened…
The video embedded below shows live video recording of the ATM in question, and the reaction it garnered from nearby shoppers when it started expelling hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars. What do you think they did? More importantly, what would you do? What a dumb question…just take it, right?!
The app and alternate reality game are unfortunately Canada-exclusive, but we applaud Ubisoft for utilising such thematically consistent, fourth wall-breaking marketing. Speaking of, check out the WeareData website for a visual data map of major cities Berlin, London and Paris.
