Today Bethesda has announced that they are planning on releasing one hell of a mega collection for Elder Scrolls fans. The only caveat is that the package is only for the PC, but it does contain every Elder Scrolls game in one package for only $79.99 in America while AUS and NZD residents will have to pay $89.99 and $109.95 respectively.
The anthology includes The Elder Scrolls Arena, The The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (plus Tribunal and Bloodmoon), The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (plus Knights of the Nine, Shivering Isles), and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (plus Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn.) Not enough for you? Well this package also comes with five physical maps that detail the lands of Tamriel, Iliac Bay, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim. This massive collection of games will be available for purchase in stores on September 10th in North America and September 12th in AUS and NZD and images of the package can be found below.
Cloudberry Kingdom, the Pwnee Studios title that originally went through Kickstarter, and found a publisher in Ubisoft, is finally available on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, Steam and Wii U! A PS Vita release is planned for later in the year.
The platformer challenges gamers with deadly obstacle-course like adversity as they attempt to cross from one end of a randomly generated level to the next. Every level is a new experience due to the random generation algorithm. As you progress successfully, they will also increase in difficulty, having the potential to give you an extremely tough time – some people just love the anguish of failure and seeming impossibility. There are ten hero types to experiment with, and three different modes of play: Story, Free Play and Arcade – which includes Time Crises, Hero Rush or Escalation. Four players maximum can compete or play co-op locally (hooray!).
So what is the tale here? It’s all about Cloudberry Kingdom’s fate, naturally. Here’s an official synopsis, if you will:
As the Orb resurfaces, the classic characters return: Kobbler with his mania, Princess with her endless boredom. It’s only a matter of time before Bob, our hero, shows up to put order back to madness. Three powers struggle for victory and the fate of Cloudberry Kingdom hangs in the balance. What will become of the retired hero, Bob? Will saving Princess one last time win her love? Could true love ever stop Kobbler and the power of the Orb? No, probably not. But hey, it’s worth a shot.
Oh and, by the way, Bob is voiced by Kevin Sorbo (Hercules, Andromeda). Herc-u-freakin’-les! Not sold yet? Check out the launch trailer embedded below!
We’ve seen a teaser trailer showing Fairy Fencer F in action as well has a number of screenshots for the game, but until now there has yet to be a full blown trailer for Compile Heart’s next JRPG. Today the company released the first trailer for the game which can be found below.
The video features Japanese narration as well as some of the game’s theme song which is called “Resonant World” by SylipS At the moment the PlayStation 3 exclusive is set to be released in Japan on September 19th and currently it has not been announced for Western release.
It seems like the sheer amount of stuff you can do in Disney‘s upcoming game is almost endless. From making your own worlds and games in a detailed sandbox mode, to using the magical storytelling and characters that only Disney could come up with, it really does sound like a game that has limitless potential. I guess that is why the game is being called Disney Infinity.
Previously we have been shown how Disney Infinity’s Toy Box, Play Sets and Power Discs will all operate on their own, but today we are given quite the treat, as we get to see how all of the Disney Infinity features come together and result in a chaotic, wild and unbelievably fun experience.
Today, in the latest trailer for Disney Infinity, we get to see how combat will operate. Mike helping Mr. Incredible fight off Omnidroids by hitting them with a shrink gun. The Lone Ranger and Sully jousting one another, or even Jack Skellington sword-fighting against Razoul (the guard from Aladdin). It is all possible in Disney Infinity.
Check out the trailer below for all the chaotic battles I just mentioned, plus a tonne more. The eagle-eyed viewer will also notice that I mentioned Jack Skellington. Much like Wreck-it-Ralph, the Pumpkin King is now on the list of characters who are kinda-confirmed-but-not-actually-confirmed. So that is something to be excited about.
Disney Infinity will be launching in just three weeks on August 22nd (August 18th in America) on PS3, Xbox 360, WiiU and 3DS, so be sure to stay tuned to Capsule Computers for all the news as it becomes available.
Earlier this year it was announced by XSEED Games that Rune Factory 4 would be hitting store shelves sometime this summer. However it seems that the company wants to make sure that the game is going to launch as polished as possible.
Over on Facebook an XSEED representative stated that “The game is absolutely massive and taking much longer to QA (play through the English for quality assurance) than we originally anticipated. Right now we could be looking at a late September or October release, but it will definitely be worth the wait.”
This means that although the title will end up missing the summer release window, a delay for quality assurance is always appreciated in a day where launch day patches are quite common.
DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. upcoming PC game; Infinite Crisis hit its closed beta stage a few weeks ago, and since then people have been flocking to the free-to-play MOBA. Drawing inspiration from one of DC’s biggest storylines, and giving players the opportunity to reach into DC’s rich multiverse, and play as some of the more obscure iterations of their favourite characters (such as Nightmare Batman or Gaslight Joker).

We may traverse barren, icy wastelands in video games, but do we ever stop to consider what our survival rate would be if it were real life? In those extreme, freezing, unforgiving conditions? Well now, you can find out.
The temperature on E.D.N. III – Lost Planet 3‘s setting – is a lethal minus-120 degrees Celsius…the frozen planet can easily become a mass grave-site, but not if Jim Peyton has anything to say about it. The latest video from NEVEC, viewable directly below, gives a chilling account of the human body’s reactions to severe cold, both mental and physical. When I say chilling…that’s not just a pun, I mean it! It explains, step by step, what happens internally when your body temperature drops below the normal 37 degrees celcius. Black, deadened extremities and rupturing eyeballs in their sockets…no thank you! Trip to Antarctica cancelled!
Frozen to Death
If you would like to find out whether you are fit enough to survive E.D.N. III’s deadly temperatures, you can take this testand find out how your skills compare to some of the greatest survival stories in history, including that of famous astronaut Jim Lovell and rock-climber Aron Ralston.
Capcom‘s Lost Planet 3 is scheduled for release August 29, on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and as a PC digital download with a retail PC version coming on September 26.
If you thought that the addition of a character from the Atelier series was going to make Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate literally the “ultimate” Warriors game, well here’s a new addition for you. Today it was revealed that Namco Bandai’s Sophitia Alexandra will be joining the roster of fighters from other series including Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Ninja Gaiden.
Sophitia’s character model will be the same one used in Soulcalibur IV and you can see her taking on numerous foes in true Warriors fashion. It has also been revealed that another character named Nata will be included in Tecmo Koei‘s Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate when it is released on the PS3 and Vita on September 26th in Japan.
