POKÉMON X AND POKÉMON Y BIGGEST EVER FIRST WEEKEND NINTENDO RELEASE – ADDITIONAL STOCK TO RELIEVE CURRENT SHORTAGE

Launch of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y for Nintendo 3DS family of consoles sets sales record

15th November 2013 – Nintendo Australia announces that within the first weekend of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y hitting shelves 12th October 2013, combined sales exceeded 100,000* units – smashing all previous records for a Nintendo game in Australia and New Zealand. The previous Pokémon release of Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version sold a combined total of more than 80,000* units in its first week of sales, and the combined sales of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y exceeded this in the first day alone.
The demand for these highly anticipated titles has meant that some retailers in Australia and New Zealand have been faced with an out-of-stock situation. Nintendo Australia is ensuring that additional stock will be available from this week to ensure consumers are able to begin their adventure as soon as possible.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are also available on Nintendo eShop, where consumers can download exciting Nintendo 3DS download software, Virtual Console and Nintendo DSiWare titles directly to their system.

Might & Magic X Legacy Early Access Update Adds Mod Kit

Players who are taking part in the Early Access of Ubisoft‘s upcoming Might & Magic X Legacy which is still currently in open development will have a bit more to work with in the latest update for the game as they can now get started making their own adventures. In a push to ensure the development of the community of the game the new update gives player a modding kit to make their very own mods and maps.

The update also fixes over 150 bugs that have been found previously in the Early Access of Might & Magic X Legacy, as well as Map Notes a feature voted on by the community itself. Now that players have the tools to make their own stuff for the game only time will tell how it will evolve alongside developer Limbic Entertainment’s own work towards the finished game.

Those wanting a leg up as to how the Modding Kit works can find a tutorial released today embedded below. Anyone wanting the full list of changes from the update or interested in Might & Magic X Legacy itself can find it from the Official Website.

AMPLITUDE’S FIFTH FREE DLC PACK DEEPENS ENDLESS SPACE

AMPLITUDE’S FIFTH FREE DLC PACK DEEPENS ENDLESS SPACE

New Disharmony Add-On The Search for Auriga Now Available on Steam

Haarlem, The Netherlands – November 14, 2013 – Popular French developer Amplitude Studios extended its already impressive support for the acclaimed 4X space-strategy hit Endless Space with today’s release of the fifth free add-on, The Search for Auriga. On the back of winning the Golden Cube and Community Choice awards at the Unity Awards 2013, Amplitude is demonstrating its commitment to Endless Space by delivering a host of new content, while confirming that two further titles in the ‘Endless universe’ are also in full development.

The new add-on, titled The Search for Auriga, adds some new flavor to the original game, with new heroes, a new wonder and a new unique planet: Auriga. Players will notice new AI improvements (military and diplomatic), as well as the implementation of rally points, per community request, and much, much more. The free add-on is now available for all players in possession of the Endless Space: Disharmony expansion pack and is an automatic Steam update.

Background Story for The Search for Auriga:

Generations ago, Nadjne Zolya made room for Opbot in an overcrowded ship leaving a dying planet. Though Opbot was a skilled medical operative, he had accepted that the humanoids would save themselves first and leave him to decay as magneto-gravitational cataclysms made the planet of Auriga un-liveable. Surprised by their offer, Opbot re-paid the Zolya clan for decades, then centuries, as their restless, homeless clans moved from planet to planet, system to system, and battle to battle.

Driven from their simple tundra world by a fleet of pirates, they once again took up the life of homeless marauders. It was then that Opbot had the idea to rediscover Auriga; an idea that quickly blossomed into an all-consuming passion. But memories are faulty, galaxies move, and records are often missing or poorly kept; it turned out to be far more complex than he thought.

It was hundreds of years later that he was sure enough of his findings to present them to a very hesitant Tulela. But Opbot told her of what he remembered: Endless warrens of laboratories, storehouses of knowledge, ruins and artifacts scattered across the landscape like pebbles on a beach. In the end, Tulela agreed to seek that lost and fabled planet.

As their tiny fleet arrives, other civilizations that have tracked them or searched themselves for the planet begin to appear; the name of Auriga is famed across the settled galaxy. Auriga will once again become a focus of war and strife, for whatever faction can find, and hold, this precious world will have access to the greatest scientific wisdom of the galaxy.

Ace Attorney Dual Destinies To Get Its First DLC Case Next Week

Phoenix-Wright-Ace-Attorney-Turnabout-Reclaimed-01

Objection! Take that! Silence! If these words mean something special to you then I guess we’re best friends because they mean something special to me too and that something special is Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, more specifically is the new game in the franchise’s line-up; Dual Destinies.

If you’ve already finished the entire story of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies (you can also check out the review here) you shouldn’t fret too quickly because in a weeks time you’ll be digging nose-deep into a brand new and extremely odd, for Phoenix Wright standards, case wherein which you must defend a Killer Whale, Orla, who is being charged for murder.

Seems quite fitting considering it’s name. This full length case introduces Sasha Buckler a pirate and marine-enthusiast who I believe will play a big part in Orla’s case. The DLC, “Turnabout Reclaimed”, for us out here in the West drops on the 21st of November and will sell for $5.99/ €4.99/£3.99 through the Nintendo eShop and is only available on the 3DS exactly like the game itself. Can a killer whale really…kill? You’ll soon find out wont you?

Coming from developer Forge Reply, with Atlantyca Lab and BulkyPix, Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf – Blood on the Snow is just the first of what will be a four part story that will be shaped by the player’s decisions within the game. What will they discover in the village of Rockstarn and what will they do?
