Finally, the last piece of announced DLC for Rockstar’s popular title, L.A. Noire, has arrived. The Reefer Madness Vice Case is available now for download on Xbox Live and Playstation Network.
The Reefer Madness Vice Case sees Detective Cole Phelps and his partner, Roy Earle, investigate a tip-off about a local drug dealer. After a shootout occurs, it’s revealed the situation is far more sinister. What started out as a small case turns into the pair uncovering one of Los Angeles’ biggest narcotics rings.
The Reefer Madness Vice Case is available for purchase on Xbox Live for 320 Microsoft Points, or on Playstation Network for AUD$6.95 (NZD$7.90).
There is still plenty of time before Final Fantasy XIII-2 graces our home consoles. In Japan they’ll be getting it in December, but for everyone else we will be left waiting around until early 2012. But Square Enix isn’t going to leave us hanging high and dry because they have recently released a few new screenshots of the title.
In these screenshots we see a giant robotic hand coming out of the ground, a bit of combat with Noel, a very nice looking screenshot of Lightning and a couple others. Now for those who haven’t been keeping up with the game, players will be in control of Serah, Lightning’s sister, this time around instead. Super Street Fighter 2

Super Street Fighter 2 Tournament Rules
1. One character per round, per person. Once chosen, no character changes can be made for that round.

Mario Kart 64
A game that needs no introduction, Mario Kart 64 is thought by many to be the greatest multiplayer game ever, and for those who disagree most often will still say it comes pretty close. This high-speed kart racer pits four racers against each other where anything can happen to anyone in this nail-biting, adrenaline charged racer. With obstacles trying to hold you back and items that will let you fight your way to the finish line, Mario Kart 64 is one of those rare games that can have you screaming, crying and laughing loudly within mere seconds. With victory up for grabs one thing is certain: regardless of the winner, this tournament is going to be insanely fun for both the participants and the audience. WATCH OUT! BLUE SHELL!!!
Mario Kart 64 Tournament Rules
Match Format: 4 v 4 Multiplayer Mode
Difficulty: 150cc
1. The tournament brackets will be double elimination.
2. The top two players from each match will move on to the next round.
3. Courses will be chosen by random selection from the Star, Mushroom, and Flower Cups.
Final round will be Rainbow.
4. No course can be chosen twice in a row.
5. SMASH! will provide controllers and no other controllers may be used under any circumstances.
6. The Tournament Director’s word is final.

Best Buy have been really good as of late at leaking content as well as upcoming titles, but this bit of news may be the most interesting in some time as it yet again concerns Batman: Arkham City. As of today, the retailer listed a collector’s edition for the Xbox 360 & PS3 version of the game, along with a price-tag of $99.99. Nothing else is listed for this edition at the moment, but both versions are clearly listed on the official website (click HERE to be taken directly to the page).
If you remember, the Arkham Asylum’s Collector’s edition came with a Batarang replica as well as a DVD and quite a few other goodies, and for the price-tag of $99.99, I would expect Arkham City’s to be just as jam packed this time around. Of course we know nothing as of now though, but as soon as Warner Bros. make the inevitable announcement of what this edition holds, we will be sure to bring an update. Stay Tuned!
If you have been keeping up, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 5th Year Anniversary Edition a while back. Well, this article is simply a reminder that as of today, the three-disc set is now available just about everywhere games are sold for the PS3, Xbox 360, & PC.
The set of course includes the Game of the Year Edition of Oblivion, but with a bonus DVD with the making of The Elder Scrolls IV and a trailer for Skyrim, a map (which is actually made of a high quality paper), a rebate coupon to save $10 off Skyrim and the guide, and of course the shiny new steelbook case. Being a huge fan of any collector’s edition, I have just picked this one up and I must say I am quite pleased of how it turned out overall as the whole set seems to be well worth the $30 price-tag. If you by chance have never played Oblivion before, this set has about everything you need to get started (except the legendary horse armor) and is in my opinion a must have for any fan of the now 5 year old game.
There’s been some confusion amongst some fans of Mortal Kombat: Legacy in the last few months, wondering what the heck is going on with the season finale. So in case you’ve missed out on anything or need to catch up, here’s the story so far:
Remember that awesome web series from Machinima we watched religiously back in April? The debut episode received more than 5 million views in a week! Episodes continued to follow week by week, but episode 9 never showed. Followers of director Kevin Tancharoen’s twitter page instead rather saw this:

Since then there hasn’t been an episode released since. Fans have been doing back flips in excitement to see their favorite cyborg-ninjas at Comic-Con and you can’t blame them, they’ve been teased to hell about it! In the debut trailer we saw a variety of footage from 8 of the 9 episodes, however episode 9 has been tightly held under wraps. We saw about 2-3 seconds of footage from the final episode, and that’s it. First we got an awesome look at Sektor:
And then the screen pans to a blurred, unmasked Cyrax as his mask is bout to be placed on him, before it quickly cuts away to the next scene.

However last week Shock Till You Drop revealed another sneak of Cyrax, a shot from the episode with what appears to be just seconds later and from the same continuous shot, of Cyrax placing his mask on.
It’s been about three months, but next week Comic-Con takes place between July 21-24, and the season finale starring Cyrax and Sektor is due to premiere at the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Comic-Con panel on Thursday, 21 July between 2-3pm, and these awesome limited edition hotel keys have been issued out as well:
Now while the official word has been that the reason we’ve had to wait to long was due to ‘fine-tuning’, fans have been discussing the possibility the real reason is because they plan to announce something new at Comic Con. If this was the case, the most likely possibility seems to be the series for Blu-Ray and DVD, as Tancharoen has said it would see a release after all the episodes appeared online, and would could with bonus footage such as rehearsal footage. Another possibility discussed is that they may announce a second season at Comic Con. Tancharoen has said for a while he really wanted to do a second season, and would love to include characters such as Kung Lao, Lu Kang, Kabal and Goro in a second season, but it has been unannounced if there will be one or not. Tancharoen has said all episodes of the series would take place either before the first game or after leading up to the squeal, so including Cyrax and Sektor getting automated from their human forms to cyborg forms really makes a good transition between seasons 1 to 2. The other possibility is they may announce taking to to a level beyond internet videos, like a TV series or maybe even what many fans have been begging for: a serious take on a Hollywood Mortal Kombat live-action movie. Creator Ed Boon has even said he’d love for it to happen and have Tancharoen direct it. Another idea is that the fourth DLC ‘mysterious’ character for the Mortal Kombat 2011 game could be revealed at Comic Con as well. Please note all of these possibilities are just theories, and nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Regardless if an announcement will be made or not at Comic Con, it has been confirmed that episode 9 will debut there next week, so at least we know we’re going to see something awesome! Expect many of our questions to receive answers next Thursday.
Yea, high scores are cool, I guess, you know, if your into that type of thing. But come on, this is the freakin’ future and new ideas are where we as gamers and humans thrive. NotEntirelySure, a YouTube user, has recently broken the lowest possible score record in Super Mario Bros. Surprisingly, to achieve a low score, you must be a very skilled person with fast reflexes and have a complex plan to perform the worst as possible. Check out the video below for proof. The user claims that this is legitimate gameplay and it certainly appears that he is telling the truth. Looks pretty awesome, yea?
And with that, Zen Studios and Twisted Pixel announced that they would be combining their excellent franchises. A Ms. ‘Splosion Man pinball table will be coming to Pinball FX2 very soon, although the exact release date was not announced. In return, Twisted Pixel has robbed some Pinball FX2 assets and built a pinball table in an arcade area of Ms. ‘Splosion Man, which releases on the 13 of this month.
“We told the Twisted Pixel crew we were going to break in and steal all the Ms. Splosion Man stuff so we could make a pinball table for them. We put our super stealth ZEN sniper on the project and what can I say, mission accomplished,” boasts Mel Kirk, ZEN Studios Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
“Turns out, sploding is a GREAT mechanic on a pinball table and the evil geniuses at ZEN took the idea and ran with it!” explains Twisted Pixel CEO Michael Wilford. “As big fans of pinball in general, we proudly acknowledge ZEN Studios as the masters of virtual pinball. In Ms. Splosion Man there is an arcade room in the world map where players can find a virtual Pinball FX2 table where you can dive right into the hot XBLA pinball action directly.”
