In a humorous move to dig the knife in a little deeper and twist after a particularly spectacular E3 2013 announcement at the Sony press conference, it was found that the folks at Sony released another video.

The new instructional video shows folks how used games will be handled in their next generation. While Microsoft will be doing everything digitally and, in the process, making it less convenient for the consumer, Sony is opting to keep their consumers happy, allowing physical media to be bought and traded just as it is with the current generation.

Bungie’s Destiny Gameplay World Premiere

Destiny. Become Legend.
Destiny. Become Legend.

One of the biggest things that Sony revealed at it’s 2013 E3 conference, second to maybe the software specs and price, was a good 12 minutes of live gameplay footage from Bungie’s next big game Destiny. Fans expected there to be something about Destiny at the conference but this just rocked audiences. If you don’t know; Destiny is an upcoming, epic, sci-fi, action, first-person shooter, made by Bungie and Published by Activision, that takes place in a, somewhat, destroyed future. The creaters of Halo have done such a great job on this game and you can see the sheer brilliance in the footage.

We saw things like: drop in/drop out co-op, MMO-style gameplay where a player joins with a group of other players to fight a bigger enemy, upgradable features for a few aspects of the game, different classes, it’s beautiful graphics and so much more. It was played live on the PlayStation 4.

We have the 12 minute video just below so go ahead and watch that to really get the whole picture of what this game is going to be like and just how incredible it is. Don’t forget to hit up our comments section and let us know all about what you think.

PS4 Console Hardware Revealed

ps4-hardware

The console that was mysteriously missing from the PlayStation 4 announcement event has finally shown itself during Sony’s E3 conference. Going for a modern slanted rhombus design, the console seems to be able to stand up vertically with the help of a stand as well as being placed horizontally. A blue glowing strip appears to be in the middle of the console but as we haven’t seen it plugged in yet we are not sure if it lights up. The top part of the console is made of a glossy material while the rest seems to have a matte finish. The PS4 shouldn’t have too much trouble fitting in with your other lounge room devices.

The console looks to be a good size and seems to be notably smaller than the Xbox One console. Anyone else getting flashbacks of the PS2 slim? You can check out every angle of the console in the gallery as well as the console’s big on-stage reveal in the video below. Let us know in the comments what you think of the PS4’s new hardware design.
