NCSOFT and ArenaNet have delivered a highlight reel showcasing storyline events that have happened thus far in their popular MMORPG, Guild Wars 2. In addition to bringing viewers up to speed with past/current events, the film hints towards a big finale that is upon us at the end of January. Game Director Colin Johanson posted the following in his blog “Recap: The Living World of Guild Wars 2”:

As we announced back in December, we’re down to just four releases to go in the current storyline of living world. The first of those four releases is nearly upon us, and we wanted to help take a moment and look back at the key moments that have brought us up to this point as a refresher before we dive head-first into countdown to the big finale.

Scarlet Briar has been the puppeteer orchestrating the madness that has been plaguing Tyria this whole time! But her tale has not yet ended, and yours has yet to truly begin. Take away with you a daunting message: ‘The End Begins January 21’.

Cat Banana Studios has started up a crowd-funding initiative for their current project Imagine Nations. The campaign is set up through their website to allow supporters to directly support the studio’s goal. This is in the wake of their unsuccessful fundraising campaign on Kickstarter; however, due to the overwhelming positive support as well as the team’s determination, the efforts will continue.

Imagine Nations has been added to Steam Greenlight to generate more support. ‘Backer Status’ will be dubbed to anyone who pledges, which entitles them to gain special access to the developer’s site with an opportunity to earn other rewards on specific pledge tiers.

NVIDIA’s Tegra VCM Adding More Processor Power to Audi Vehicles

0

It seems NVIDIA isn’t content to just improve the PC experience with their new Tegra K1, but will now be taking their Tegra processors on the road, literally. NVIDIA and car manufacturer Audi have teamed up to put NVIDIA’s Tegra Visual Computing Module into Audi’s vehicles to power three in-vehicle systems.

The Tegra VCM will be utilized to power a connected infotainment system in these Audi vehicles that will boast twice as much performance as its predecessor, the first automotive-grade tablet in the world, and a high-resolution cockpit display with vivid 3D graphics, making these vehicles quite the gadget themselves. This partnership will allow Audi the chance to keep their vehicles up to date with the latest evolutions in processor power, better than ever before.

With Audi clearly cemented with NVIDIA, it will be interesting to see how or if other automotive manufacturers follow suit. Give us your own opinions in the comments below.

chronicles-of-the-going-home-club-01

Today NIS America revealed that they have picked up a new anime license and while anime fans may be a bit disappointed to hear that it isn’t from this season, they will still be happy to hear that another off the wall comedy show is on its way to North America.

They have licensed Chronicles of the Going Home Club (previously called Kitakubu Katsudō Kiroku) and are currently offering the show for streaming on Hulu and Crunchyroll. NIS America has said that they will be giving the title a home release sometime in the future but at the moment they have not announced exactly when that will be.

They did provide a brief story synopsis which can be found below:

The Going Home Club is a school club whose members’ only goal is to find out how much fun they can have after school. Setting aside the question of whether the club is actually recognized by the school, the girls are busy today nourishing their utterly off-topic discussions again.
