Second Batch Of Attack On Titan Perfumes Released

Attack-on-Titan-Perfume-Batch-1-Pic

Last year anime fans were surprised, excited and above all curious when three bottles of Attack on Titan Perfume were announced, now they can experience those feelings again with four more bottles set to be released after July.

The first three perfumes were based around Eren, Mikasa and Levi, each of them had their own unique smells which were said to represent each of the characters personalities. This next line up of perfumes are based around Erwin, Jean, Hans and Armin and will include a special poster with every bottle. The perfumes can be purchased from the Koubutsu-ya website and will cost around 5,500 yen ($53USD) each, for those that are still curious, here is a brief description of each perfume:

Erwin: Deep citrus and dandy notes of lemon and lime, middle scents of lavender, oak and black pepper cloves and finishing with rose and sandalwood. The smell of an adult man.

Hans: Fragrant herbs combined with jasmine, mugwort and juniper berries will to produce a bittersweet yet mysterious scent.

Jean: Spiced wood tones are complemented with orange and bergamot and oak moss to fully capture his precocious youth.

Armin: Tender vanilla is blended with pineapple, iris, peony and other fruit based aromas which finishes on a wooden note. Armin’s scent gives off his willpower and kindness (am I the only one who thinks they got this one right on the ball?).

Considering how popular Attack on Titan has become it’s safe to assume that not only will these new perfumes be as popular as the first three, but there may also be a third character batch on its way too (maybe with one smelling like hot potatoes). Let us know what you think about these perfumes by leaving a comment down below.

Star Fox is Headed to Wii U!

“Do a barrel roll!” words that many of us heard time and time again as we played Lylat Wars (AKA Star Fox 64) on our Nintendo 64s back in the 90s, and then again on our 3DS’ in 2011. Now, the man, the myth, the legend himself Shigeru Miyamoto has officially announced a brand new Star Fox game is headed to Wii U.

As part of a round table discussion at this year’s E3 Expo, Miyamoto stated that he has been working on this game for YEARS and that it was originally intended as a Wii game, but never came to fruition. Not much is known about the project at this time other than it is a primarily space-ship based game that will have the player using the Wii U’s Gamepad to fly their Arwing, and it will serve as a first-person cockpit view of the game.

Star Fox is just one of a few games that Miyamoto is bringing to the Wii U in the coming months, including a bunch of new IPs like Splatoon and two lesser-known titles; Project Giant Robot and Project Guard. With all the Nintendo news coming out of this year’s expo, do you think the Wii U will be able to regain a foothold in the console war? Let us know in the comments below and remember to stay tuned to Capsule Computers for all the hottest gaming news as it becomes available.

In the trailer, which can be found below, we are introduced to the leader of the player killing guild Laughing Coffin, who is named PoH, as well as some new gameplay footage showing off some of the game’s heroines who will be joining Kirito in combat.

Splatoon is Nintendo’s New Online Shooter for the Wii U

splatoon-logo-01

This is probably the biggest news out of E3 for Nintendo, whether you like it or not. I love it, so I think it is time we all get excited for Splatoon, which is Nintendo’s new IP. Yes, that is right. A whole new IP overseen by Shigeru Miyamoto himself, crafted by EAD. Splatoon is a online multiplayer shooter where players take control of squidgirls (it makes sense, keep following), and try to spray ink to claim your territory while fighting off other players.

There are several perks of the ink, such as blocking other trails and protecting your own turf. This title comes out in 2015, and with some more trailers and announcements, I’m sure we will see this little shooter take full form. Check out the trailer down below for more on Splatoon.

2014 has been the year for anime and manga anniversaries; Ghost in the Shell (25 years), Sailor Moon (20 years) and now we can add Natsume’s Book of Friends to the list.

To acknowledge the popular manga being in publication for ten years a special art exhibition was created last year and has been shown throughout Japan, the final display of the exhibition will be held in August at the Mitsukoshi department store in Sendai.

Over 200 of mangaka Yuki Midorikawas’ illustrations will be showcased; most of the original artwork will be based around the Natsume series, but other pieces from her previous works will also be included. The exhibition will also contain a documented display of Midorikawas’ work progress, her various art supplies, rough drafts and the chance to purchase limited edition Natsume merchandise. For further immersion fans can also choose to have an audio navigation which will be voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya, the voice actor of Natsume in the anime series.

doom-e3-teaser-screenshot-01

Today Bethesda didn’t have any major reveal for E3, but they did take a page out of Square Enix’s book. I’m talking about announcing an announcement that will happen at a future event, but at least they are going a step beyond that by actually releasing a teaser trailer and letting us know what that announcement will be.

They have revealed that they will be fully revealing the remake of DOOM at QuakeCon 2014 which runs from July 17th to July 20th. You can check out the teaser trailer below and expect more news on the title next month.

Recently MangaGamer revealed that they have partnered with two new companies, called Ame no Murakumo and Appetite, to release four of their PC games in English sometime in the future. It is worth noting that although these are two seperate companies, they still work together to create games and as such two games from each branch will be localized, all of which are for Adults Only and appear to be nukige. Now before we say what titles are being localized, it is worth noting that “for various reasons” all of these games will be released with mosaic censorship.

The first of these games is from Ame no Murakumo and it is called Hypno-Training My Mother and Sister. Unlike the rest of the games this one already has a release date of June 20th and it happens to focus on incest and hypnotism. Later in the year, also from Ame no Murakumo, comes the NTR focused nurse game Obscene Medical Records of a Married Nurse. The two titles from Apetite happen to be Secret Sorrow of the Siblings, which is actually an NTR title involving incest, and Forbidden Love with My Wife’s Sister which is self explanatory.

Yoshi’s Woolly World Prepares for an Eggciting Launch in 2015

The folks at Good Feel love some yarn. After the successful Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Yoshi is next up to get a makeover from the developer, and after a good wait – Yoshi’s Woolly World looks quite amazing. This title will play a bit like Yoshi’s Island, but with yarn and cloth stitched into the environment, with an emphasis on exploration.

We seen this title during last E3, but it was just an image and now we have a clearer picture with the E3 trailer of just what to expect. Shy Guys, Yoshi, multiplayer and more, and yes, this is something we have been needing to see on the Wii U to show off some more of those classic characters in new ways. Watch the clip below and become enchanted.

Xenoblade Chronicles X gets 35 Minute gameplay video

xenoblade-chronicles-x-9
At the Nintendo Treehouse event at E3 2014, Nintendo and Monolith Soft showcased roughly 35 minutes of gameplay for the show-stealing Xenoblade Chronicles X, the open world action JRPG exclusive to the Wii U.

The gameplay video details the early stages of the story along with a great detail of the combat and exploration mechanics. The game also features detailed character customization. The story revolves around a ruined Earth and the need for humanity to terraform a new planet.

Xenoblade Chronicles X, while very similar in name to Wii game Xenoblade Chronicles, is considered a spiritual successor of sorts, being part of the same franchise but not exactly continuing that game’s story or world. Take a look at the video below and see for yourself.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Announced for the Wii U

kirby-and-the-rainbow-curse

Kirby has always been one of those franchises that has always adapted itself for spin-offs. One of the most underrated Nintendo DS titles that was also a spin-off of the franchise was Kirby’s Canvas Curse, which let players use the stylus to control a ball-form Kirby around a beautiful world.

Today at E3, what felt like the impossible happened as Nintendo announced Kirby and the Rainbow Curse for the Wii U, which will be a sequel to the little gem. This time, Kirby has new abilities and the world seems to be made of clay, as you can see in the trailer below. Release date isn’t until 2015 on this one, but keep an ear out as we’re sure to see more as the months roll on. You can play some Triple Deluxe while you wait however, as it is certainly worth checking out.
