Marvel’s Avengers Releasing on May 15, 2020

Square Enix announced at their E3 press conference that they are aiming to have Marvel’s Avengers released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on May 15, 2020 with the PlayStation 4 version of the game netting various bonuses in the future that will be detailed later on.

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco, including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Square Enix is planning on delivering a unique storyline that will have a narrative that will be delivered over multiple years, with no random loot boxes or pay-to-win scenarios. Every new Super Hero and region will be delivered to players at no additional cost if you own the core game.

Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions Announced for Western Release

In what came as a fairly surprising announcement, Square Enix announced at their E3 presentation that they would be bringing Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions to the West with both games being remastered before being released sometime in the future. Romancing SaGa 3 will be releasing on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, PC, iOS, and Android while SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions will be releasing on a few less consoles as it comes to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.

SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions builds upon the original Japanese release with a variety of improvements and additions to the original, including new and improved graphics, character voice-overs, weapons, skills and more. In addition, players will have access to more than 70 allies to potentially add to their party and test out different battle strategies with the new turn-based timeline system as they conquer new scenarios, monsters and bosses on their journey.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Announced for Consoles and PC

There have been remasters as well as a remake for many of the Final Fantasy games so far and the one that many people have been asking for is Final Fantasy VIII. Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will feature revamped character models, the ability to keep HP and ATB at maximum, the ability to turn on and off battle encounters, and the ability to play the game at three times the normal speed outside of cutscenes. Final Fantasy VII Remake Reveals Tifa, Details Combat

Square Enix kicked off their E3 press conference the way everyone wanted, with a lengthy trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake and some new gameplay footage. This time around we are shown the hybrid gameplay system that merges real-time action with strategic command-based combat. For starters, each press of the Square button is a swing of Cloud’s Buster Sword. Cloud attacks, dodges, and blocks all in real-time. His standard attacks do some damage, but they barely scratch the surface of Cloud’s true potential.

Succeeding on the battlefield requires more than just hacking and slashing. Cloud needs to be tactical. He needs ATB. Two ATB bars are displayed in the lower right. These fill up slowly over time, but fill much faster as Cloud lands standard attacks. Once an ATB bar is full, you can enter Tactical Mode, where time slows to a crawl and you have the opportunity to choose actions from the command menu. Once in Tactical Mode, you can choose to perform various abilities, such as Cloud’s Braver attack. Using an item in battle will deplete an ATB charge, and if Cloud has the right Materia equipped and enough MP, he can use ATB charges to cast spells.

In combat players will be able to easily swap between the characters in their party at the tap of the button and the game will also see the return of a focus gauge for enemies allowing them to be staggered and recieve bonus damage from your attacks. The new footage can be found below and Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to be released on March 3, 2020 for the PlayStation 4.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III Launches in the West in September

Today NIS America announced that they will be releasing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III in North America on September 24th, September 27th in Europe, and finally on October 4th in Australia and New Zealand.

Almost a year and a half has passed since the Erebonian civil war, and much has changed since then. From the shifting stances of countries to the internal politics of the Empire, and even the life of Rean Schwarzer, the shadows of the past have given way to the embers of a new chapter. Now graduated from Thors Military Academy, Rean has become an instructor at the Thors Branch Campus, a newly-opened academy that quickly finds itself thrust onto the national stage. It is here that he takes the lead of a brand new Class VII, and must guide a new generation of heroes into an unknown future. Though all is calm now, the nefarious Ouroboros organization continues to weave a dark plot that could engulf the entire continent in war, or perhaps something even worse.

Alongside this announcement the company also released an English trailer for E3 and you can check it out below.
