It looks like the attempts to release the original version of Saint’s Row IV have been put to a halt once again. After appealing with the Australian Rating’s board, it has been announced that the game in its original form is still banned. Currently there is a special “Australian Edition” version of the game that may be released.
According to AllGamesBeta, apparently the review board stated that since the game included the use of some drug related items that give the players some sort of boost or incentive for use, the game will be banned from sale or promotion unless the revised version is submitted for review and passed the board before Deep Silver releases the game next month.
The newest video for the free-to-play game, titled Game Pillars, goes behind the scenes showcasing new gameplay, UI updates, improved graphics and more. Currently in closed beta, an open beta is planned for later this year with Founder’s Packs guaranteeing instant access and exclusive perks.

Disney Infinity is a little under a month away from release, and up until this point, the focus of promotion has been how the Toy Box Mode and Playsets will operate. In all the talk, one important feature had yet to receive its turn in the spotlight; The Power Discs.
Disney Infinity’s Power Discs have been mentioned before, but never described in detail. There are two types of power discs; Circles and Hexagons. Circular discs are stacked under the character figures and provide bonuses. Up to two power discs can be stacked at a time, and bestow their bonuses for as long as they are active. Some discs will even combine their powers and create a third, unique ability.
Hexagonal Power Discs on the other hand are used to unlock toys, vehicles and scenery for Toy Box Mode. Again, up to two power discs can be stacked at any given time, and will unlock such vehicles as the Pizza Planet Delivery Truck, or the Dumbo the Elephant ride from Disneyland. Other Power Discs will allow you to change the scenery and backdrops to resemble various famous Disney properties, such as; Wreck-It Ralph, Tron and Nightmare Before Christmas.
Disney Infinity Power Discs – Wave 1
Each Starter Pack will come with one random Power Disc, with others being obtainable via sealed booster packs. There will be twenty power discs available at launch through these boosters. The contents of each booster is random, so I expect there will be a lot of collecting and trading with friends to complete sets. Disney have generously provided a trailer, which you can check out below, that details some of the Power Discs.
With only a few weeks until Disney Infinity launches on PS3, Xbox 360,WiiU and 3DS, are you excited? Let us known in the comments below, and for all the Disney Infinity news, stay tuned to Capsule Computers.
Today Atlus USA announced that the PC version, the review of which can be found here, of Zeno Clash II has been given some extra gameplay modes. Ironically only a couple of days after the console version of the game was released, these new modes called the Frame-Rate Challenge Mode and Colosseum Challenge Mode will give players a new interesting gameplay mode. The Frame-rate Challenge spawns countless enemies based on the player’s computer’s performance while the Colosseum places opponents against up to fifty waves of enemies with upgradeable weapons, power-ups and allies.
Also, given the new Steam trading card system, trading cards have also been implemented into Zeno Clash II. Currently Zeno Clash II is on sale as part of Steam’s Midweek Madness sale and can be purchased for $7.99.
Droidscape: Basilica entails an electropunk sci-fi world on the Basilica space station, where a small, unarmed droid- Bishop 7, must power through 60 two-phase action puzzle levels to save one of the few remaining Chronomancers and secure the secrets of time travel.
Kyttaro’s “HeadTwister” mode allows players to control the game head-on and hands-free, turning their head to the right to move Bishop 7 forward or left to step back. This technology uses front-facing camera of a newer model iOS devices, including the iPad 2 +, iPhone 4S + and iPod Touch 5. The game is completely touch-enabled for players who prefer a more tactile experience and those with older devices. Based on player feedback, Kyttaro Games plan to refine the technology and adhere to their ultimate goal of developing fully head-controlled games in the future.
The universal app is on sale this week for only $1.10 AUD ($0.99 USD) and will return to the set cost of $2.20 AUD ($1.99 USD) in the following weeks.
Some of you may remember the name Gabrielle from the 3DS game, Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove which was released a couple of years ago on the 3DS. Well now she is returning once more and this time she is appearing on the iOS courtesy of Natsume.
This time rather than dancing, Gabrielle is facing off against zombies in the free to play Gabrielle’s Zombie Attack. Players must make use of mandrake plants to defeat the zombies that are coming to try and eat her and the rest of the Monsterville residents. Check out the gameplay trailer below and pick up the game itself here.
She must appreciate that the developers made her a multi-billionaire!
It’s been known since her appearance promoting the game on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon after E3 2013, that Aisha Tyler would have a cameo role in Ubisoft‘s Watch_Dogs. Now, we know what that role is…
Aisha will be just another citizen living in the game version of Chicago, reflecting her real life persona – except with a whole lot more money! However, if this video is anything to go by, it would seem that she is destined for a grissly end. Check it out directly below!
This is a cool celebrity cameo because of who Aisha is. She is a true gamer, and her first Ubisoft E3 Press Conference hosting gig came out of her public expression of fandom and excitement for the team’s work. She was unjustly attacked by viewers of the event, but defended herself in an ‘awesome’ manner. She became the spokesperson for Watch_Dogs, not because she’s in it, but because she’s a fan and knows her stuff through and through. I have a lot of respect for the comedian and hope that I – as Aiden Pearce – will be able to prevent her death by garbage truck. Might even make Aiden her stalker…okay, now this is getting weird!
Oh and everyone, let’s not freak out about the graphical quality of the gameplay footage: it is current generation. Like that should even matter…hypocrites.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition is headed to the PC soon, and Konami have a nice offer for those who pre-order off of Steam. Instead of getting a bonus such as a skin or something else unnecessary, Konami are offering up a nice 10% discount on the game to those buying early, which should assist in more ways than one.
You could say “Why not a piece of DLC?”, but that again is something you won’t be needing with this quite “Ultimate” release of the favorite, as Lords of Shadow includes it all – with Reverie and Resurrection already in the package. The special features can be found below, and if you are so inclined, follow this little link to lock in your Castlevania fix and download the now available demo to give the game a spin.
Features: Fans will enjoy the original full game plus add-on content Reverie and Resurrection. Additional features include enhanced High Definition Graphics, solid 60 frames per second (recommended spec), and trophy integration through Steam with Cloud saving.
Storyline: Players can immerse themselves into the Lords of Shadow storyline, meeting classic characters and experiencing tangential side stories.
Weapons and Skills: Overcome obstacles using the Combat Cross multi-function weapon and hone platforming skills in this sprawling adventure. Swing across chasms, climb sheer walls, rappel down cliffs, grip and pull away any and all things that get in the way!
Titan Battles: Take on behemoth enemies that scale to the size of complete world environments and where special attacks and cunning speed are required for advancement.
Exploration: Explore gothic ruins, dark castles, old forest and frozen wastelands. Discover a whole world to investigate with many routes and hidden secret places that contain items to aid Gabriel on his quest.
Supporting AMD features such as Eyefinity technology and Crossfire technology and also featuring support for Nvidia SLI Technology
Brazilian-Portuguese language support now included
We have seen quite a few models for the 3DS since its release, with the platform going pink, themed, and several other colors – but Nintendo are now ready to go back to basics with a sleek black model for the 3DS XL. The new color will join the 3DS’ family on August 11th, which happens to be the same day as the release for Mario & Luigi: Dream Team in the U.S.
Not too shabby at all, and considering the growing library as of late, more color – or less in this case, seems to be a welcome addition for those who have yet to make the plunge.
For a being that was accidentally teleported to Earth, we humans certainly love the Martian Manhunter. Today is the day that he finally – after months of requests – joins the roster of Netherrealm Studios‘ Injustice: Gods Among Us. You can purchase and download the last Martian in existence for 400 Microsoft Points or AUD $7.35 on the PSN Store – no Season Pass privileges for this second wave of DLC content.
The DC Comics hero and member of the Justice League will likely not agree with Superman’s regime, although his own allegiances have been tested over the years. In the end though, he vowed to protect the planet from evil, and if that means confronting the Man of Steel, then that’s what has to be done. For those who are unfamiliar with his past from the comics, or just need a refresher course, you can check out his Character History trailer embedded below! You can also view gameplay footage of J’onn J’onzz here.
