Ronimo Games, responsible for the 2.5D MOBA Awesomenauts, has today released update 1.25 for the game, bringing with it some new announcers and a new piece of ingame music as well as one other surprise. The biggest part of this update is the release of the Private Mels DLC skin for the Sheriff Lonestar character. Ronimo Games has decided to be most generous, and is donating all revenue generated by the special skin until the end of 2013 to the Make-a-Wish foundation! This act of kindness was brought about when Mels, a kid from the foundation, had their dreams fulfilled when they visited the studio where Ronimo develops their games.
Private Mels will be wearing a tough looking military uniform and will have a visual upgrade to his Bull-throwing ability. The two new announcers that are currently only being released to Kickstarter backers are Pappa Gnaw and Voltar, providing a nice variety to the announcer line up. In addition, the first Starstorm character, Ted McPain, has entered beta testing this Tuesday. Kickstarter backers with beta access are able to testdrive him until he’s ready to be released to everyone.

During the PlayStation All Access launch event, a partnership between Bungie, Activision, and Sony was announced and this partnership will make it so that the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 will have first access to the Destiny beta which will launch early next year.
A new trailer was also shown off which you can see below. It features four players exploring a cave and facing off against a slew of robotic enemies as well as a gigantic troll-like creature. Also shown off in the video is plenty of great looking environments that players will be able to venture through once the game is released sometime next year.
The Metal Gear franchise has had a long history of being exclusive to the PlayStation and only in recent years have Metal Gear titles appeared on other platforms. As such it should come as no surprise that the PlayStation 3/4 version of Konami‘s upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes comes with something exclusive.
Today it was revealed exactly what that exclusive bonus is, and it happens to be a “Deja Vu Mission” where players can play as Classic Snake where he looks exactly like he did back during the PlayStation 1 era and it looks like enemy models will undergo the same trip back in time. You can check the video of the exclusive content below and at least take a look at a few polished snippets of new Metal Gear Solid V gameplay.
During Sony‘s PlayStation 4 All Access launch event Naughty Dog has revealed some more downloadable content for The Last of Us, our review of which can be found here, and this time it is story DLC which occurs before Ellie meets Joel and kicks off the events of the game’s main campaign.
The Last of Us: Left Behind is set to be released in early spring 2014 and it will tell the story of Ellie and Riley Abel as they attend a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone and it will explore an “essential relationship” in the game’s story. Currently no price has been announced but the reveal trailer for the DLC can be found below.
Today during the PlayStation All Access launch event, a new trailer was released that showed off a new ability that the new main character in inFamous: Second Son, Delsin, can use and it is called the neon power. At the end of the trailer, which you can check out for yourself below, Sony also happened to reveal the release date for the game.
The PlayStation 4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son is now set to be released on March 21, 2014 and from the looks of things, the new abilities will give players a new way to navigate the city of Seattle as well as take out anyone standing in their way.
During the PlayStation All Access launch event held tonight, Naughty Dog, the developers behind the Uncharted franchise, took to the stage to reveal that they are working on a new game in the series for the PlayStation 4.
Unfortunately Sony did not give us any more details outside of a teaser trailer, which can be seen below, featuring voice over work of a man looking for revenge. There are apparently clues hidden in the map below which will lead fans of the series to more information about the game and whether or not it is a sequel, prequel, or something else entirely.
When it comes to Japanese games being released in the West, usually gamers in North America get the title either at the same time or a long time before their European brethren. However in the case of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, it is the other way around.
While the game is being released in all PAL regions on December 6th, Nintendo has announced that North America will not be getting the game until February 7, 2014. There will be a collector’s edition in North America as well, but it will only include a soundtrack disc, art book, and augmented reality cards while lacking the Agnés figure found in the European collector’s edition.
