Bob recieves more firepower in Guerrilla Bob Update

BUY GUERRILLA BOB $1.99 from the APP STORE NOW

Yesterday Angry Mob Games released their own update for the game over the iTunes Store.  There is an extremely large amount of new features.  Both an update patch of 1.1 and the even further updated patch of 1.2 will be downloaded once the game is updated. Below is the full list of what is changed between the two patches:

What’s new in 1.1:

  • Improved controls
  • New auto aiming control settings, which makes targeting all the enemies much easier
  • New Mercenary gameplay mode: collect money from the enemies and use it in the shop to unlock lots of awesome new weapons:
  • Machinegun
  • Timed Bombs
  • Molotov Cocktail
  • Shotgun
  • Double Uzis
  • Flamethrower
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Grenade Launcher
  • Sticky Bow
  • Chaingun
  • All the weapons are upgradeable
  • New Survival Mode: Wave Attack. Fight waves of baddies and access the shop during the fight, to purchase new arsenal.
  • Various Bug Fixes
  • Improved graphics and sound effects
  • You can set the enemies on fire, and watch them slowly burn

What’s new in 1.2:

  • Check out the new story twist when completing the Arcade or Mercenary modes!
  • MiniGore playable character joins the action!
  • Brand new Bonus Level, just in time for the World Cup!
  • The baddies got smarter, and they never stop coming. Try the hard difficulty level, to see what it’s really like!
  • Various minor tweaks, including a separate save slot for Survival mode and the ability to flip the screen anytime.

The inclusion of the brand new game modes have definitely extended the gameplay value of this stellar shooter. The amount of weapons they have now released and the fact they are also upgradeable are slightly troubling as the enemy themselves may turn those weapons against you if you are unwary.

If you wish to purchase Guerrilla Bob from the iTunes Store you may do so HERE.

Create your own music from scratch with Mix Superstar

Digital Leisure Inc. has just announced their brand new WiiWare game, accompanied by a website, called Mix Superstar.

Full description from Digital Leisure:

Think you can be the next big music star? Well now you’ve got all the tools right at your fingertips with Mix Superstar. Create, mix and record your own royalty-free musical masterpieces right on your Wii™. There are over 1,000 Dance, Hip Hop and Techno loops included across multiple instruments like Drum, Bass, Synth, Guitar and even voice tracks.

With this you can create your own synthetic bands and songs to sound like whatever you want them to sound like. With the thousands of loops provided you will have nigh limitless options to change the songs around. Not only that but there will be the inclusion of voice tracks to place professional singers into your own songs.

You won’t even have to use the voice tracks provided, because you can make your own. Mix Superstar is fully compatible with any Logitech USB microphone or the Wii Speak itself. Also included in this huge package is the ability to upload your songs and then download them later onto your own PC. Not only will players be able to create their own music but they will also have the option to take them with them wherever they go.

There has been no official release date yet for Mix Superstar; nor was there any mention of a price tag. However this is literally an entire music studio at your fingertips so there can hardly be much complaint about the price tag itself. What does everyone think about this game? Would you enjoy being able to make your own music instead of always playing the same songs over and over again on various other music games? I sure would. If only they would make this game compatible with one more input source; a Vocaloid source…

Bioshock pitch document revealed

Hey! Do you like the game Bioshock? Well, of course you do!

Irrational Games has released the pitch document for Bioshock, which was originally planned to be very different. Jellyfish powers away!

I’m glad they altered a lot of the game, specifically the aquatic powers and being on a deserted island. on the other hand, I wish they would have kept a lot of it, such as the weapons that are fully customizable and the environment controls that add more strategy to the game.

Check out the pitch document by clicking here, or clicking the pitch document above.

Time Bubbles in Singularity

What if you could encase your enemies within a small bubble of time so slow they were standing still? They could be easy pray to any of your attacks; so much so you could even play with your prey. Also what if you could simply dodge a hail of gunfire thanks to the fact that each bullet is traveling through the bubble as if it were speeding through molasses. In the latest Singularity trailer Raven reveals the Deadlock Feature which does exactly that.

This feels a bit like the stasis weapon from EA’s Dead Space considering it will slow down anything that you fire it at, and also is useful for moving around obstacles just like the Stasis was in Dead Space. With the abundance of features constantly being revealed for Singularity it causes me to wonder; will all of these modes really be used constantly or will some be extremely overpowered while others useless?

To aru Majutsu no Index 2nd season hinted?

A fan Japanese blog named Kyo mo Yarareyaku has stated that they have seen an announcement outside of a Japanese Tatsuya store stating that the second series of To aru Majutsu no Index will be shown this Fall season. This is not confirmed by the animation studio nor the writer of the To aru Majutsu series. However this is extremely good news as there is a very large amount of story from the light novel to cover, including many new arcs and a variety of new enemies.

Here is hoping that this announcement turns out to be true because this was an amazingly entertaining Anime that did not focus on Moé behavior like other anime, namely K-On!, but instead focuses on an in depth storyline about magicians and espers and how they co-incide within the world. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good action Anime.

Fable 3 Limited collectors Edition detailed

The limited collector’s edition has been detailed recently, and it is looking like a pretty good list of extras. Who’s gonna buy it? I know I’m tempted to buy the collector’s edition just to the location and the outfit. The dog breed doesn’t tempt me as much, because I love the husky breed not the boxer breed.

The Limited Collector’s Edition also offers unique collectibles that true “Fable” fans won’t want to miss, including downloadable content, also available for Windows users, as well as in-box items that come with the Xbox 360 version. Wrapped up in a distinctive box created in the likeness of a book from “Fable III,” the contents include:

  • A new quest: Uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines and earn the legendary sword, Wolfsbane, deadly against wolves and balverines.
  • Exclusive location: Unlock a new region, ideal for settling down with a family and discovering new treasures.
  • “Fable III” playing cards: Created by Lionhead, these cards depict every type of character in “Fable III,” including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains from across Albion and beyond.
  • Guild Seal Coin:  The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.
  • A new dog breed: Renowned for its loyalty, the Boxer is a brave canine companion worthy of greatest Queens and Kings.
  • One unique outfit: Unearth one male and female outfit from the mysterious, faraway land of Aurora, a new destination in your “Fable III” adventures.

“Fable III” will be available in Standard and Limited Collector’s Editions for Xbox 360. The Standard Edition will retail for $59.99/£44.99/€64.99, while the Limited Collector’s Edition will retail for $79.99/£59.99/€84.99.  The Windows version will retail for $49.99/£39.99/€54.99, and will also be available for download exclusively on Games on Demand on Games for Windows – LIVE.
