The Serious Man’s Guide

0

Do you have what it takes to be a Serious Man! I know that being a Serious Gamer is very important but being a Serious Man should go hand in hand with being a Serious Gamer! It’s like Ying and Yang, you can’t have the Ying without the Yang, or “GAIN” without any PAIN! Or more importantly, an Xbox without the Controller (unless you have a Kinect) but that’s not “Serious” – well is it?

Anyway, if you’re serious about being serious then the video below will show you how can do that, be it fighting Ninja’s with your bare hands or handling a big hamburger from McDonald’s!  In the end it all comes down to the mental and physical training. The video below will show you how to do that, watch it and ask yourself… Are you MAN enough?

Final Fantasy Dimensions Release Date Announced

Final Fantasy Dimensions is the iOS and Android version of the episodic Japanese mobile game Final Fantasy Legends and will be available August 31. Andriasang reports that Square Enix confirmed the release date for the game this morning, which previously had only a vague summer release window.

The game features a 2D art style like the classic adventures on the Super NES in other words, prepare to feel some nostalgia if you happen to download the title on August 31.

Madden 13’s Top 10 Defensive Players Revealed

We all know that Madden NFL 13’s launch is now less than a week away. You can check out the video down below to see who made the cut and who were not so lucky for the top ten defensive players.

Some shocking players that are missing from the top ten list are defenders from the Super Bowl champion New York Giants’ team, such as Jason Pierre-Paul. Even considering his off-season injury, it’s a curious decision to leave the 2011 Defensive Player of the Year winner Terrell Suggs out of the top ten list as well, while putting his fellow Baltimore Ravens into the mix.

You’ll be able to play as these players and many more when Madden NFL 13 launches next week on August 28, 2012, on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita and the Wii with a later launch on the Wii U.

Ubisoft has registered several new domains for a new announced Assassin’s Creed project on August 21, 2012. They have registered a total of twelve domains that have some rather striking similarities. You can check out the full list below:

  • ac-initiate.com
  • ac-initiates.com
  • acinitiate.com
  • acinitiates.com
  • assassins-initiate.com
  • assassins-initiates.com
  • assassinscreed-initiate.com
  • assassinscreed-initiates.com
  • assassinscreedinitiate.com
  • assassinscreedinitiates.com
  • assassinsinitiate.com
  • assassinsinitiates.com

While we can only speculate what Assassin’s Creed: Initiate actually is, there is a chance it could be something like the many console spin offs that the series has had like Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II Finally On Steam

0

Today marks the release of the pretty good, but not as good as the original, Knights of the Old Republic II on PC for the Steam Platform. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II takes place a few years after the events of the first Knights of the Old Republic game and follow the story of the Jedi Exile who reclaims her position with The Force.

What’s notable about this release is that the game had originally been released alongside Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and as a result was a little rushed and buggy. However the game was still an amazing experience from a gameplay and storytelling perspective and a pretty decent successor to the original Knights of the Old Republic.

And now fans of the Star Wars universe who are unable to track down disc-copies of this game are now free to purchase this great title over the preferred distribution platform for PC gamers, Steam. Be sure to check out the store page and buy your copy.

Follow the United States 2012 Presidential Election on your Xbox 360

0

Nothing will make you want to stop playing your favorite video games more than switching back to the Xbox 360 dashboard and watching the 2012 US election. Microsoft revealed today that starting on August 27th, Xbox Live members will be able to access the Election 2012 hub which will feature NBC News coverage, information about Obama and Romney, live coverage of the debates and conventions and even daily polls (like why is this here?).

If for some reason you aren’t registered to vote you can even try to register through your game console cause why not. Now this probably is only relevant to those who live in the United States, as Australians, Europeans and Asians probably couldn’t give half a damn about the election.
