In the meantime, Playstation 3 gamers are able to purchase the Ace Combat Assault Horizon + DLC Pack from the Playstation Store now. This pack includes the original PS3 game along with both the Tokyo and Honolulu maps, as well as six additional aircraft.
The game is currently on track for a Q1 launch on Steam in early 2013. Along with up-ressed graphics, Ace Combat Assault Horizon: Enhanced Edition will also include many of the DLC items released on the console versions of the game. Players will have immediate access to seven additional aircraft and numerous aircraft skins as well as skills and maps. The multiplayer portion of the game will feature support through Games for Windows.
Do you happen to be a PlayStation Plus member in North America? Well then you now have the ability to download Anomaly: Warzone Earth as that is the game that will be free this week for subscribers. We originally reviewed the game back when it came out in April and found it to be a pleasant enough title to give an 8.5, at regarding the Xbox 360 version of the game.
While this is still a great game and PlayStation Plus members should find themselves enjoying the title, this continues a disturbing trend where the PlayStation Vita version of Plus has been largely ignored by Sony ever since it was launched a month ago.

EA have shared with us their latest trailer for the upcoming co-operative third-person shooter, FUSE. The trailer is titled Dalton Rules and showcases some of the story behind the game. In the trailer we see a group of somekind break into a compound, threaten to kill a senator and then steal some kind of Alien technology. I’m assuming that these characters are supposed to be the protagonists of the game.
In fact, the entire trailer seems to be about breaking all of the rules. There are plenty of popups promoting such behaviour throughout and a lot of whats happening seems to be about breaking rules. Maybe this Dalton guy is a bad influence?
Be sure to check out the trailer, embedded below for more info. For more details be sure to check out interview with creative director Brian Allgeier here.
So far every time that Lightning has appeared in a new Final Fantasy title she has been given a brand new outfit to wear and that isn’t going to change with Lightning Returns. Today in this month’s V-Jump we have been given a look at Lightning’s new costume which can be seen to the right.
A larger version of the scan can be seen below as well as a few screenshots of in-game footage as well. Lightning Returns follows the story of, you guessed it, Lightning, who has awoken from a long crystal sleep and must try to save a collapsing world. Monsters are rampaging through the cities and they can be stronger or weaker depending on the time of day. The magazine also mentions that a trailer for Lightning Returns will debut at Jump Festa on Saturday, so be ready for that.
Just in-case you happened to forget that these were coming out, here’s a little reminder for ya. Today Capcom has released three new multiplayer modes for Resident Evil 6 (Review here) that are exclusive to the Xbox 360 verson of the game. These multiplayer modes will come at a price of 320MSP ($4) each or in one pack for 720MSP ($9) for all three of them.
The three modes are called Predator, Survivors and Onslaught. Predator mode involves short rounds with up to six players taking turns playing as the Ustanak and the rest of the humans trying to avoid capture and survive while dealing damage to the Ustanak. Survivors is a take on the basic deathmatch mode. Anytime a player is taken down, they will respawn as an enemy character and can only return to the human side if they manage to kill another human player. As for Onslaught mode, two players must try to clear waves of enemies while trying to chain combos together. What makes this unique however is the fact that a successful combo chain will actually send enemies into your opponent’s game.
