During PAX Prime 2013, Twisted Pixel will showcase their new Xbox One title LocoCycle. An all new demo will feature at the booth, as one of the few Xbox One titles playable, showcasing a new location and revealing more information about the game. LocoCycle details the story of I.R.I.S.’s escape and search for freedom, and that of Pablo, the engineer unwittingly dragged into the adventure.
Along with her digital form, the actual I.R.I.S will also be on display, just as her archenemy S.P.I.K.E. was at the previous PAX. The rest of the Twisted Pixel collection will also be available to check out, along with plenty of Twisted Pixel-themed merch. Contests with prizes, such as an Xbox One Day One Edition, will also run throughout the event.

This special event is part of Nintendo‘s countdown to the release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y for Nintendo 3DS on October 12th, 2013. The games will be the first in the Pokémonseries to be presented with true 3d graphics.
Razer and Grinding Gear Games are working together to bring some special bonuses for Razer owners playing Path of Exile. Razer Comms users can log into the Razer Path of Exilepage and get a free Razer footprint effects in game. Grinding Gear Games will be implementing Razer technologies like Razer Surround into Path of Exile. The two companies have more plans for joint projects that will be announced soon.

Batman has not only swept the world with his new movies, he’s also swept up the gaming industry. With two games under his multi-purpose, utility belt and another two on the way, there’s no stopping the Dark Knight. Today developer Armature Studio has released the first trailer for the upcoming, handheld-only Batman title; Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.
Fans of the franchise will be getting the same level of action and gameplay as the first two Batman games yet in the palm of their hands, the development boast that the game will feature stealth gameplay, free-flow combat and a whole bunch of gadgets that the masked man is known for. “Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate captures the genuine Arkham feel players have come to appreciate.”, says a spokesman from Armature Studio. The game does have a relation to the console based versions too, it will be like a companion to Arkham Origins and serves to deliver a deeper story to the one that players will experience through the console version of the game.

Keep an eye out for this one because it’s slowly proving to be another smash hit for the Batman Video Game franchise. It is set for release on the 3DS and the PlayStation Vita. The release for Blackgate will coincide with the release of the original Arkham Origins titles, they will both be purchasable on the 25th of October 2013. Today Square Enix has release the first part in what will be a three part developer diary series of videos, called “Inside the Square” for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. This first video is narrated by Lightning’s voice actress, Ali Hillis, gives viewers a glimpse at the First Product Development Team and also features commentary from Square Enix’s Visual Works teams.
The video can be seen below and as for the game itself, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is set to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on February 11th of next year and February 14th in Europe.
After the high demand for closed beta keys,Tactical Intervention is finally in open beta. All gamers on Steam can begin testing Counter-Strike co-developer Minh “Gooseman” Le’s new FPS right now. The open beta will last until the game’s official launch on September 12th, 2013. The official launch will bring two new maps entitled Airport and Monaco.
Tactical Intervention is a free to play first person shooter for Windows. Players will return to the classic Terrorists vs Counter-Terrorists gameplay with brand new features like intense car chases and attack dogs. Servers are currently available for North America, Europe, and Russia. New servers located in Australia, South America, and Asia are set to launch on October 1st.
Today Ubisoft released a new video for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and this time around it focuses on some of the main characters of the game and the actors who voice them. The highlighted characters in this video are Edward Kenway, Blackbeard, and Charles Vane.
The video can be checked out below and the game itself, which features revamped boat battles and more, is set to be released on current generation consoles on October 29th in North America and October 31st in Australia. As for the next-gen consoles, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be a launch title when the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are released.

Night Crisis is a constantly changing, ever evolving FPS horror MMO. Altered Planet Studio has mentioned that they want it to “feel like battlefield with a horror theme.” It has modern military setting with a bit of the future mixed in. You’ll be able to attack and defend many different structures with your friends, or from others players, AI, militia, and creatures. It was also announced there the game is going to include “world events” that you can work together to defeat, and complete. The graphics for this game are wonderful and it seems to have a lot of potential. You can follow the development of this game, and the release of the beta on its IndieDB page here.
