It has been announced that NIS America will be releasing “The Arland Atelier Trilogy” in Europe this March. As you can see in the box art below, this collection will contain the original versions of Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland, and Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland.
It is worth noting that this trilogy set does not feature any of the enhanced “Plus” versions of the games, meaning all three of these PS3 titles are the original games released by NIS America in 2010, 2011, and 2012 respectively. Currently there has been no announcement concerning the Arland Atelier Trilogy in North America and no release date has been announced for the title in Europe but current listings show the title selling for £39.99.
XSEED Games has announced that they will be releasing the PSP title Brandish: The Dark Revenant in North America next week on January 13th. The title will be sold through the PlayStation Store for $19.99 and will be compatible with the PlayStation Vita and PS TV immediately on launch.
Brandish: The Dark Revenant is developed by Nihon Falcom and is a remake of the 1995 game. Players will be taking on the role of a swordsman named Ares Toraernos who must travel through forty floors filled with monsters, deadly traps, and various puzzles as he searches for a way to escape a long forgotten underground labyrinth.
Indie Gala and Capsule Computers released the first Friday Special of 2015 today. Indie Gala Friday Special #9 contains ten indie games for only $1.99 during the first 24 hours of the sale.
Runes of Brennos– A RPG to challenge your memory and strategic thinking. Players will need to memorize the runes like a real mage to unleash spells against their opponents in a magical game similar to rock, paper, scissors.

Hunters of the Dead– A rogue-like tower defense title with an eye catching story-book style art style.
Mythos: The Beginning– A survival-horror adventure RPG set in the 1930s. Players will explore the haunted Harborough Asylum, filled with Lovecraftian horrors.
Wake– You have went down with the ship. Now, you must survive as the waters slowly climbing hopes of escaping to the surface with your life.

With DONTNOD Entertainment’s first episode of Life is Strange set to be released on January 30th, Square Enix has released a developer diary for the game where we are given a behind the scenes view from the game as well as interviews with co-founders and developers at DONTNOD.

If you’ve been following Techland’s Dying Light then you know that while the title will of course feature zombies that the player will have to survive against it will also feature a number of parkour moves allowing players to traverse the city in many unique ways allowing them to try and avoid encountering the undead on the streets below.
So now that Dying Light is set to be released in a little under three weeks, Warners Bros. and Techland have teamed up with Ampisound to release a live action parkour point of view video that features a runner fleeing for his life from zombies that apparently are just as good at parkour as he is.
You can check the video out below and be sure to keep an eye out for Dying Light when it is released in North America on January 27th, January 28th in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and January 30th in Europe.
This picture of Nappa seemed the most appropriate to accommodate this news as it seems Bandai Namco Australia have sneakily snuck the release date of Dragon Ball Xenoverse back an entire two weeks. Popular game store EB Games now have the release date listed as the 26th of February and this date has been reinforced by another major game seller in JB Hi-Fi who have the same date listed. The game was originally supposed to release in Australia on February 13th, a day after the European region release and four days before the American and PC Steam version release.
So far it doesn’t seem other regions have had any changes made to their release date. We have contacted Bandai Namco Australia for an official response but as it stands it seems Australians will have to wait another two weeks to get their hands on some Xenoverse goodness. If you live in Australia feel free to leave your anger in the comments below and I’ll gather it to make some sort of negative Spirit Bomb and launch it at whoever made this decision.
UPDATE: The delay has been confirmed by Bandai Namco Games Europe and the Official Dragon Ball Z Games Facebook page and seems to apply to all regions apart from Japan. now including the as well as the Americas. The new release date for Middle East, European and Oceanic regions is 27th of February 2015. The new release date for the Americas is the 24th of February. The game will be available globally on Steam on the 27th. The reason given for the delay was to ensure the best possible quality product was released.
Interestingly major game retailers in Australia still have the 26th of February listed as their release date which is a Thursday, coinciding with the day most major games are launched on in Australia so I am inclined to believe Australia will receive the game on the 26th, with Europe getting it on the 27th.
Anime Consortium Japan, inc., the recently established streaming service for official anime content, has announced that it will be simulcasting the new season of Kuroko’s Basketball on its Daisuki service from January 10, 2015. Episodes will be available with English, Italian, Portugese, Spanish and German subtitles. It will be available in North and Central America, Latin America, Europe (except for French speaking areas), Oceania (except for French Polynesia), Africa (except for Tunisia) and Asia (except for Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore). Seirin High School makes it into the semifinals of the Winter Cup. They defeated Toô Gakuen, featuring Aomine, and Yosen, featuring Murasakibara, both from the “Generation of Miracles,” causing Seirin to be one of the more noticed schools. Seasons one and two of Kuroko’s Basketball will be made available with English subtitles beginning January 13, 2015, at 11am JST. It is estimated that ten episodes will be uploaded each week.
In addition, Daisuki will also be simulcasting The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls with English and traditional Chinese subtitles. Korean subtitles will be added three days after the stream is uploaded, with episodes to be available globally except for Japan and China beginning January 9, 2015.

Furthermore, Anime Consortium Japan has announced that it has released a beta version of its free Daisuki app for Android. The app was previously released on iOS services, but now anime fans with an Android system can also enjoy loads of free anime content on the go.
Crunchyroll has announced that the Wii U is the latest device to receive a version of their popular streaming application. The release of the application for this device herald the new availability of thousands of episodes of licensed content to stream.

Now Wii U owners can have access to more than 25,000 episodes and 15,000 hours of hit licensed content, including the most popular current and classic shows like Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Sword Art Online and Hunter x Hunter. It’s a great match for Wii U, which continues to offer a wide variety of quality software with recently released titles such as Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2, in addition to eagerly anticipated upcoming titles like Mario Party 10, Yoshi’s Woolly World and Splatoon.
To access Crunchyroll, Wii U owners can download the free application from the Nintendo eShop, which will allow premium Crunchyroll members to begin watching immediately.
Crunchyroll has made a name for themselves as the premier source for streaming anime and Asian dramas. The company is especially notable for working deals in Japan to simulcast anime the same day as they air in Japan. A number of shows are licensed exclusively by Crunchyroll each season and while they do receive competition, Crunchyroll remains very popular.
The app is restricted to Crunchyroll premium members, which is a paid service. Premium members are the only ones who can stream anime on the same day as well. Wii U owners can sign up for a 14-day free trial of premium membership via the application or on Crunchyroll’s site.
North American anime licensor and distributor Right Stuf, inc. has just revealed that it will be exclusively distributing products from Ponycan USA, the recently-formed sub-division of Japanese anime producer and distributor Pony Canyon, inc. Ponycan USA will be releasing “high end, collector-grade” DVDs, Blu-rays and merchandise in the USA and Canada.
Exclusive sets of new and old titles will be released monthly beginning April 10, 2015, with Yuki Yuna is a Hero and Denki-Gai being the first titles to be released. Exact details about the upcoming releases will be made available in the future.
Japanese producers will be supervising all US releases to ensure the highest quality possible. Special promotional bonuses will also be offered to anime fans in the US.
For those unfamiliar with Pony Canyon, they have been involved in the production of popular anime titles including Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, K-On! and Free!, as well as many other series.
As if this week wasn’t already a huge one for Disney and Marvel Studios with the premiere of Agent Carter and the first full teaser trailer for the upcoming Ant-Man flick, Netflix have finally announced when we will be able to watch their upcoming Daredevil series. You won’t have to wait very long either as the 13-episode season will be made available to viewers through the Netflix streaming service on April 10th, 2015 in all regions that Netflix is available in. That means you will be able to watch the entire season before Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters.
Now I know that most of you down under are thinking “but how will we watch it! We don’t have Netflix down here!” Well I’ve got some extra good news for you. The world renowned video streaming service is debuting here in Australia this year and if online reports are to be believed it will be towards the end of March, giving you plenty of time to get used to it before Daredevil’s premiere.
Daredevil stars Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) as Matt Murdoch who blinded since a child fights injustice as a lawyer in the seedy Hell’s Kitchen, New York. At night though, Matt Murdoch uses his heightened senses and fights crime as the Man With no Fear, the Daredevil. Daredevil is set to be the first of four inter-connected Marvel Netflix series that will culminate in a crossover series “The Defenders” at a later date.
Not only do we now have a release date for Daredevil, but Netflix have also released the official poster for the series that you can check out below.
