A competent Pokken Tournament arcade player in Japan has managed to uncover an entirely new Mewtwo form that serves as the final extra boss of the game. Currently dubbed Dark Mewtwo, the stage begins with Mewtwo in a field full of crystal mountains except this Mewtwo has an orange crystal stuck in its chest, the Mewtwo’s eyes glow purple and it then mega evolves into Mega Mewtwo X although it’s black and has even more crystals sticking out of it’s body. You can watch the full intro, fight and outro in the video below.
This battle was added to arcade machines to celebrate Halloween. Pokken Tournament is currently a Japanese arcade exclusive but is coming to Wii U‘s worldwide early next year. Hopefully this Mewtwo and all the other additions to the arcade machine will be coming over to the console version.
UPDATE: A new trailer was released recently confirming Mewtwo for the Wii U version, but it is still unclear if the Pokemon will be made playable. The official name for this form is Shadow Mewtwo.

Everyone’s favourite close quarters map is getting yet another reboot for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The map is seeing its biggest change in several years to accommodate for the game’s new movement system. The reboot, known as Nuk3town, features lots of bright colours, high tech solar cells, and modern new buildings. A new trailer has been released with plenty of combat footage set in the map. Even with all the changes to the map, the general layout is still the same old Nuketown.  Spotted in the new trailer are a few visual nods to the original version, such as the dummies and shuffleboard court in the backyard.
Nuk3town is a bonus for those who pre-order the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. Like the story campaign, Nuk3town will be missing on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Spiders has released a new trailer that delves into the three combat systems available in their upcoming action RPG The Technomancer. The video gives an overall look at the game’s mechanics. Viewers will get the first look at the melee focused Warrior and defense oriented Guardian stance. The third stance called Rogue will be shown later.
Besides the video, Spiders has released more information on the game’s melee combat system. Hero Zachariah will have access to three unique weapons for the three combat stances: a staff that specializes in long ranged melee attacks for Warrior Stance, a gun and knife combo for highly agile attacks with a little crowd control thrown in for Rogue stance, and a mace and shield combo for Guardian stance. These weapons are meant to be used in conjunction with Zachariah’s electric based Technomancer abilities to create a unique fighting style for each player.
The Technomancer launches in early 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Back in July Aksys Games and Spike Chunsoft announced that they were working on Zero Escape 3 for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS and at the time we only knew that the game would be released with a new art style.
Now the companies have provided some additional details, such as the fact that the Western name for the game is Zero Time Dilemma and upon release it will be available at retail and digitally in North America for the PlayStation Vita and 3DS while Europe will be getting it as a digital only title and that both regions will be getting it in summer 2016.
To go along with the announcement of the new name Aksys has also provided a bit of an outline for the game and you can check that out below:

With Rise of the Tomb Raider set to be released in a little under two weeks for the Xbox One, Microsoft and Square Enix have opted to release a bit of an early launch trailer for the game showing off primarily cut-scene footage and giving us a glimpse at why Lara is finding herself in the situation that she is in in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Considering the high amount of cut-scenes shown off in the video alongside a bit of gameplay footage one may wish to avoid it in case they want to go into Rise of the Tomb Raider with as little storyline knowledge as possible, but for those who wish to check it out you can find it below accompanied by Karen O’s “I Shall Rise” song.
While the Yakuza may be known as a huge criminal organization in Japan, they still need some time off for fun and that is something that has always been available in the Yakuza game. The same will be true when Yakuza 5 is released in North America and Europe as Sega has released a number of new screenshots showing off the various side activities players can take part in.
These activities range from being outdoor actives such as hunting bears or fishing to more casual mini-games such as playing in an arcade, taking pictures in a photo booth, bowling, playing darts, participating in idol activities, and more. It is worth noting that Yakuza 5 still does not have a solid release date for the West but is planned to be released before the end of the year as a digital download for the PlayStation 3.
Over the past few years we have seen a boon in niche Japanese games being localized for Western release but we have also seen the rise of some annoying censorship issues. Some of the censorship does make a bit of sense while others are absolutely ridiculous and a few titles have pushed the limit so far that they weren’t even touched for Western release. As such with Koei Tecmo working on bringing Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita the company has been rather mum about releasing the game in the West, with only the passing mention of a “modified” version if it ever is released.
As such many have turned directly to importing Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 and there is some good news for those that do. According to Koei Tecmo and Play-Asia, the Asian version of the game will support English subtitles when it is released on February 25, 2016, allowing for a far smaller barrier for those who don’t want to wait to see how the title may be handled, if at all, by localization.
After blowing away their funding goal Ys Net has been focusing on developing Shenmue III and now that they are three months into the title they have an update for fans. So far the company has said that the story and scenarios are out of the planning stages and are being implemented into the world of the game.
The update does note that the main focus of the work at the moment is on map testing to make sure that no maps turn out too big or too large but that wasn’t all they had to share with fans. As you can see from the above two images, they have released some new images of Shenmue III that are all “still in testing” with Ryo’s character model being an older one and a few other models, such as the black suited men, being simple placeholders for now.
If you are curious as to why the battle screenshots shown above and below are awkward looking, it is due to an extreme angle being used to avoid spoiling anything that may be contained in these scenes.
