Lamest Gaming Industry Person Quotes
“It’s not on rails, it’s on a horse.” – Peter Molyneux
“Two Screens is too confusing.” – Peter Molyneux
Dustin Spencer writes:
Both of what you see above are two quotes from a gifted developer by the name of Peter Molyneux. Instead of actually making a fun, interesting product (cough…Curiosity), the Fable mastermind used his fame this year to put down another product. The Wii U is by no means more confusing than a game where you tap at a cube for hours to see a new color, and that self hype Peter inflated Fable: The Journey is just another lie we have grown accustomed to from a man who should know better by now. Peter Molyneux loves Peter Molyneux, and his total disregard for the public is why he is on this list so many times. Here’s a tip – When you create a game, you assume responsibility Mr. Peter Molyneux, and leaving Microsoft hanging with your lies does not make you unaccountable. Fable: The Journey is an unresponsive mess that consumers actually paid for, and that in itself makes us a bit uneasy as 22 Cans has been nothing but a begging on Kickstarter since it originally launched. Nintendo have took accountability every time they make a mistake, and are a better company for it. If Peter Molyneux wants to do the same, it’s time to ditch the ego and grow a little more humble.
