After a stellar Summer Sale, our wallets were expecting a full on assault that would leave us crippled by the time the Winter Sale rolled by. Instead, we were disappointed with a pretty lame sale. The games were practically the same as the Summer Sale and no outstanding deals. At the same time, we had Amazon practically putting out hot pie on the window for us to breathe in the scent of cheap games. Too bad, only Americans and people who were willing to fake an American address were able to cash in on the sales. Maybe Valve’s plan was to throw a half-hearted sale to remind all of us how a real Steam Sale goes when the excellent Steam Winter Sale stormed through like a hurricane, or a typhoon, depending on what side of the Earth you are.
