This is one giant leap forward for the fans of Gran Turismo. Finally some sort of date has been set. Lets only hope Sony will stick to it so all the eager fans of this legendary racing game will have something to play this holiday season.
With Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles not too far away, Capcom have come up with a brilliant idea for all Resident Evil fans to enjoy while they wait for the Darkside Chronicles to be released in November.
Leon S. Kennedy and Clair Redfield have gained access to twitter via global satellite. With the use of their PDA’s they now have the ability to send to everyone that wishes to follow them updates as they makes make their way through the Zombie infected Racoon City and attempt to survive the horror that is DarkSide Chronicles.
Along the way Leon and Claire will come across special codes that they will share with everyone followng them. One such code could be used in Apple App Store. The first person to enter the code will be able to redeem whatever Claire and Leon find in Racoon City.
So how do you follow Clair and Leon .. Well thats the easy part.

As your all well aware by now Capcom announced today that Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will be available exclusively for Nintendo Wii, November 17, 2009 for $49.99 in North America. BUT as of yet there is no release date set for other countries especially in Australia. Ebgames and Game still have a TBC marker and with no price tag. As well as Australian customers will probably not have any special pre-order deals.
For the time being we have have to sit and hope that something special happens soon. Us aussies are always left in the dark-side 😉

Unlike the evil enemies you fought against in the previous story, in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, players will fight against the characters’ own inner demons. Gears of War: Aspho Fields is a science fiction novel by Karen Traviss, set in the Gears of War universe. The novel is the first in an expected trilogy and is considered canon material. Aspho Fields will mainly focus on the history of the characters and the battle at Aspho Fields, but also takes place during the events between Gears of War and Gears of War 2.

Games Com Colonge Germany 2009 was a very successful event. As we are all aware it was previously hosted at Leipzig Germany by a different organization. This year was the first outing for Games Com and I must say it was a great success. Thousands of people passed through its doors and many happy gamers played and got to see what will be released in the comming months.
Yesterday I covered Capcom’s presence at Games Com today I will go through the remaining software developers and games that were at the festival.
This ends our journey at GamesCom Colonge 2009. We look forward to coming back next year.

Capcom was at Games Com Cologne 2009 this year and they had a fantastic floor presence, along with a heart pounding, death defying outdoor Dark Void gliding simulator.

Thanks to Capcom for providing the fans at Games Com with certainly for the best experience at the festival. The next major event for Capcom fans to look forward to is Tokyo Game Show 09. Starting 24th – 27th September.
Today some very lucky citizens of Redmond USA were able to play some Halo ODST in the luxury of the ODST Truck :
The ODST Truck Expanded out to allow for Xbox Fans to come in and play some ODST.
Amongst the fans at Redmond was Xbox Live’s Major Nelson. I looks like Major was probably do his Major Minute. Not quiet sure but stay tuned and make sure you listen to his podcast this week.
I for one would love to see something like this down in Sydney/Australia. Who else from Sydney agrees ?
