MasterAbbott makes an appearance on the Xbox 360 My Community Dashboard

G’day Everyone !! MasterAbbott has made an appearance on the U.S. Xbox 360 My Community Dashboard Tab on Xbox Live.  If you live in the U.S tab over to the My Community tab whilst logged on to XBOX Live  and check out MasterAbbott.  MasterAbbott would like to say a VERY BIG thank you to the XBOX Community team, especially Xbox Live Community Manager TRIXIE360 for being on Xbox Gamer Spotlight and now appearing on the My Community Dashboard on everyone’s XBOX 360 in the U.S.A 🙂

Also BIG BIG thanks to everyone that has sent MasterAbbott a friends request and messages 🙂  He will try and reply back to everyone one of you and also do his best to add as many of you as he possibly can to his friends list.  At the moment his Friends list is kinda getting a bit full right about now 😉

Once again thank to everyone.  The XBOX LIVE Community is the best community in the world !! Lets keep it that way by Playing Fair, Having Fun and Being COOL !! 🙂

Ok, lots of Call of Duty news now. All from the here.

Activision has announced that Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella are no longer with the studio. Activision Publishing chief technology officer Steve Pearce and head of production Steve Ackrich will head up the development house on “an interim basis.” Furthermore, Call of Duty-related business will now be overseen by Philip Earl (now ex-head of Activision’s Asia-Pacific region). There is no info as to why Jason West and Vince Zampella are no longer with the studio but I’m sure we will find out soon.

The Call of Duty franchise is trying to get to Asia! Any asians reading this? You might be getting the franchise over there soon.

Treyarch plans to release the next Call of Duty game this fall.

Infinity ward is developing the first 2 map packs for Modern Warfare 2 to be released in 2010.

Finally, Activision plans to expand the Call of Duty franchise to more genres and geographies

Sledgehammer games takes a swing at COD

Sledgeammer Gameshas been brought onto the Activision development force to work on a new call of duty game that is aimed to release in 2011.

According to Activision the new game will “extend the franchise into the action-adventure genre.”

Not much information is known about this new Call of Duty game, but it doesn’t sound like the Call of Duty we all know, and a few of us love.

Could it be a sandbox, third person shooter based in WWII? Does that sound interesting to anyone?

Heavy Rain Origami 101 Class with MasterAbbott

Ever wanted to fold that Paper Origami figure from Playstation 3’s Heavy Rain ?  Well today’s your lucky day.  MasterAbbott, the Master of Origami folding has this set out a little Origami lesson on how to make the trademark Origami figure from the cover of Heavy Rain.  Grab youselves a piece of square paper and follow these simple instructions below.

ORIGAMI 101 CLASS is now in Session … Enjoy 🙂

Fold  1. 

Fold the square over diagonally as shown to make a nice, visible crease.

Fold Step 2. 

Next, fold the square the other way, as shown, making a second visible crease.

Fold 3.

Turn the square 45 degrees as shown, and fold three points towards the center.

Fold 4.

Fold the upper point backwards as shown.

Fold 5.

Fold the four remaining points towards the center as shown.

Fold 6.

Turn the paper over, and fold the lower point towards the top. It should now look like a little triangle.

Fold 7.

Next reach up, and pull the inner points down, as shown. (This part is a little tricky)

Fold 8.

There is no fold for Fold 8  but make sure it looks like this. If it doesn’t your FAILING MasterAbbott’s Origami Class !! If you figure is like that them go to fold 9.

Fold 9.

Folder the upper point down as shown.

Fold 10.

This is another pitstop.  You don’t have to do anything apart from making sure your figure looks like the one below.  If it does then move on to the fold 11.  We’re nearly there… Are you excited ??? I IS !! 😉

Fold the right half of the paper over to the left, and at the same time hop on one foot… hehe no only joking, pull out the upper square to create the nose of the Origami figure.

Step 12.

Looks like ummm… Don’t know what it looks like but if your figure looks like this your nearly there.  I’m so proud of you !!

Step 13.

Pull the out the tail as shown and VOILA …(is that how u spell it??) You’re now an official Origami specialist.  Congratulations on passing MasterAbbott’s Origami 101 CLASS !!

Caligo Chaser is Com2us new action RPG title for the Apple iPhone.  If your a fan of Hack n Slash where you control the main character move around in real time and use your own abilities to pull of super deadly moves then this is a game for you.  It’s got a fantastic storyline, excellent graphics and most of excellent gameplay.

CRIKEY !!!  Look at this little BEAUTY !!!

Microsoft have announced today a  Xbox 360 Splinter Cell Conviction Special Edition Bundle. The bundle will be available in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand for US $399 in early April. The limited edition bundle contains a standard edition copy of Splinter Cell Conviction, a 250 GB hard drive and 2 Wireless Controllers.

This a great deal.  If you don’t already have an XBOX or you need a second one.  This looks very tempting.

OK who’s PUMPED !! ??  I IS !! 😉 Battlefield Bad Company 2  is out today in North America.  Us poor old Aussies will be getting ours later this week  it’s not fair !!
