Potential $400 Halo Reach Bundle Leaked

There was a temporary listing placed on Xbox.com earlier today that was quite the mistake as it was removed immediately upon notice. Of course once something has been seen on the internet it can not be unseen. And their mistake has now leaked a potential bundle for the slim 360 with a version called the Halo Reach Bundle. The bundle itself will expect to sell for $399.00 American, but it was removed shortly after posting.

Same with a listing for the controller that will be coming with the exclusive bundle, which will be selling for $60 individually.  It is very interesting looking with Halo Reach branding, and a property of UNSC logo, with little designs which could pass for a Spartan’s armor.

The good old people at HaloReachTips.net were able to snag a screenshot of the bundle itself, so it isn’t all just smoke and mirrors. Would you spend this much money on the bundle itself? Or would you prefer the game only?

Dead Rising 2 Prequel To Only Cost 400 Microsoft Points!

Capcom’s Dead Rising 2 is set to release later this year, and with the prequel releasing a couple of months before, fans will be pleased to know it will come cheap. 400 MSP will get you the entire prequel, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.

Case Zero will act as an introduction to the series new main protagonist Chuck Greene and will give fans a sneak peak at what they can expect with the much anticipated sequel. Set two years after Dead Rising and three before Dead Rising 2, players will take Control of Chuck as he tries to save his infected daughter, Katey, in the zombie infested town of Still Creek. It will also introduce players to their new roll of duct tape so they can combine weapons to take on the hoard of zombies. Combos will also add to prestige points to level your character up. As well as the new level-up system, you can earn alternate costumes and “Combo Cards” as you battle the undead. Yes, you can carry all of this over to Dead Rising 2 which makes this an even better value.

Bringing such a huge prequel to the XBLA and charging only about 5 bucks is a great deal. Hopefully more developers will take this great idea from Capcom and run with it. (Though I’m not holding my breath on that one.)

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero comes to the Xbox Live Arcade on August 31st. Dead Rising 2 drops in North America on September 28th, Japan on September 30th and throughout European and Australian territories on October 1st.

Let the images and trailer speak for themselves:

Okamiden Debuts New Trailer at Comic-Con

Okamiden was announced at E3 last month and fans of the series can now check out the trailer that was shown at Comic-con this week. By the looks of it, the game will stick to the same art style that caught gamers attention with the first Okami on the Playstation 2 and the Nintendo Wii.

Players will again take control of the Celestial Brush, freezing time to help the young Chibiterasu defeat enemies and solve puzzles. The game is also featuring pressure sensitive controls, meaning the harder you press on the DS screen the more bold your lines will be. I am extremely happy to see that the unique style of the first title is in full effect and looking beautiful as ever on the Nintendo DS.

Without further ado, take a look at the stunning new trailer below. If you don’t yet have Okami, it is at a great price right now and should be tried by all gamers with a love of art and platformers. So you can check out the latest version from our Amazon Store. Check back with Capsule Computers as we bring more information as it comes for Okamiden for the Nintendo DS.

Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC announced for Mass Effect 2

I believe that Mass Effect 2 needs no introduction, right? So i’ll get straight to the point…

Mass Effect 2 and RPG fans all over! Bioware has just announced their next piece of DLC for Mass Effect 2, entitled “Lair of the Shadow Broker”. After the first DLC, “Stolen Memory” (which was kind of short), Bioware learned it’s lesson and gave us “Overlord”, an exceptional DLC.

In “Lair of the Shadow Broker“, Captain Shepard will be joining ex-teammate (and probably lover, for some of you) Liara T’Soni. You will have to confront (at last!) the mysterious Shadow Broker…you remember him, right?

I wonder what Bioware will give us next, because, according to the official page, there are two more ‘classified’ squad mates left to be uncovered. Liara T’Soni will most likely be one of them, so that leaves is with 1 more…we’ll find out soon enough, i guess…

No release date has been set though, but take a look at these amazing screenshots:

Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar Goes Gold!

Natsume can now take a bow before the show. The soon to be released Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar has now went gold. Success is nothing new for the popular farming sim though, as the series has created well over 20 titles across 9 different platforms. With the recent interest in farming simulators in the gaming world, it is very easy to see as why the much loved series fans are hyped for the newest entry.

“Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar is one of the best Harvest Moon games yet,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. “It’s got a ton of exciting new features including the ability to run your own shop, and a multiplayer mode the lets you invite friends to your farm! It also has a great story with an all-new cast of colorful characters!”

Features Include:

  • Invite friends to your farm in multiplayer mode!
  • Run your own shop! Choose what to sell, attract customers, and get top dollar for your goods!
  • Show off your skills in fun festivals like the horse race and snowboard competition!
  • Choose to play as a boy or as a girl!
  • Find love, get married, and start a family!

Zeypher’s Town bazaar, a once popular town is in shambles, it is up to the player to turn it around. Players must farm, craft rare delicacies and sell items in the town shop to turn the economy around. If you can bring prosperity back to the town, it’s bazaar will thrive once again, enabling the player to expand their farm even more.

Nintendo DS owners will be able to start their own farms on August 17th. Also, if you pre-order at GameStop, you will be able to take home a horse! Well, a limited edition plush horse anyway. For more information head to www.natsume.com.

“Ultimate” dimension revealed for Spider-man

Activision has revealed the 4th and last dimension for their upcoming game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

After exploring The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Man 2099 dimensions, it’s time to take a look at the 4th and last dimension: Ultimate Spider-Man.

For those of you who don’t know, Ultimate Spider-Man is set in the Marvel Comic Ultimate universe, giving Spider-Man a modern touch. By the looks of it, we’ll be playing in the Black Symbiote suit, and with it’s help, gain abilities such as summoning spikes from the ground, shooting web-spikey things out of your chest and other cool super-hero stuff. All of these in a colorful cel-shaded graphic style.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions will be out September 7th on Xbox360, PS3, Nintendo DS and Wii.

Fable 3 – new screenshots fresh outta’ Comic-Con

You’ll see lots of news these days, with Comic-Con officially opening it’s gates.

To get ahead of everybody else, and probably not to be overlooked in the following storm which will unleash info and screenshots about every game at Comic-Con, Microsoft and Lionhead Studios released 4 new screenshots from their upcoming game, Fable III.

If you’ve been a fan of the Fable series (like i am…BIG one), it seems like we’re in for a treat, once again. Originality has been Molyneux’s greatest asset in his games, and by the looks of it, Fable III will not lack any of the attributes that made the last games so great.

We’ll be wandering throughout Albion once more on October 26th (US) and October 29th (Europe), exclusively on Xbox360 and PC.

Mafia 2 Demo, info and release date

If you’ve been waiting for 2K Czech’s mob game Mafia II, you already knew that a demo was in the works, although no release date was announced. Well, the beans have been spilled by a print advert of Mafia II in the latest issue of MCV.

The demo will be out August 10th on both Xbox LIVE and PSN, following shortly with the full release on 24th (US) and 27th (Europe) August.

According to Alex Cox and Jarek Kolar from 2K, we will be playing the demo as Vito and our goal will be assaulting a distillery in order to get the Fat Man.

Thrilled, excited, can’t wait for it? Let’s not forget the game has been in developement for a long time now (maybe not as long as Alan Wake…but hey!) and fans are getting more eager with each passing day. Don’t let us down, 2K! It’s just a little bit left…

flOw + Starcraft 2 = Epic

I first picked up thatgamecompany’s flOw when going on a vacation last year (or was it two years ago?). Honestly, i didn’t even know what was about, and didn’t expect much…just a casual fun game. But let me tell you…it’s genius. Those of you who played already know that. The way the music and graphics fit so well with the atmosphere and that simplistic, yet awesome, gameplay, made flOw one of my favorite games out there.

It seems i’m not the only one thinking this way, because flOw has been recreated as a Starcraft 2 MOD. Combining the powerful engine of Starcraft 2 with the awesome gameplay of flOw was pure genius, and what’s even better, is that you’re playing as a Zerg. =)

This MOD is proof that Starcraft 2 modding will go a looong way and wel’ll just have to wait and see what else the modding community has in mind. Keep ’em coming!
