Today it was announced that Zeboyd, the company behind Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World as well Penny Arcade Adventures episodes 3 and 4, is working on a brand new game that they are calling Cosmic Star Heroine. The title will be a turn based role playing game in a sci-fi setting.

Cosmic Star Heroine is going to be placed on Kickstarter sometime later this year but for now the company has given us a few details about the game. It will be built using Unity, feature improved 2D pixel art and while humor will still be a mjaor factor, it is not a parody type game.

It also seems that the company is going to be much more open with this project as they have said that “Unlike previous games we’ve worked on, we don’t want to save up news and art for the game just for big sporadic reveals. We’re going to be more open with this game’s development so we will be sharing updates, news, design musings, art, and graphics on a regular basis.”

We have some bad news for those of you hoping to play Plants vs. Zombies 2 next month. Today it was revealed on the official Plants vs. Zombies Twitter account that the game will not be releasing on July 18th but will instead be released sometime “later in the summer.”

It seems that the delay isn’t for simultaneous platform release, since Popcap has still said it is only coming to the iOS at launch with other platforms sometime later on. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is currently slated to be a free to play game that will likely be an abomination that only pea shooters from the first game could kill.

Ankama Games have just released a brand new update for both of their MMO games Wakfu and Dofus which both introduce a wealth of new content to the games.

The update for Wakfu will introduce 64 Haven Worlds, allows Auctions to be organised for four weeks and even allows players to see which buildings can be built. These building opportunities come with a number variations and possibilities including adding monsters of your choice to your guild’s territory. Of course these possibilities are all made a reality thanks to the newly introduced Haven Worlds.

As for the update for Dofus it is best described as the outbreak of war. The war of guilds has officially begun in Dofus, with guilds having more control over their territory than ever before. Now you can have creative control over the geopolitical landscape of your server baring the responsibility of its evolution and growth.

This new guild focused update is aimed at giving guilds a reason to fight and make alliances by purposely tipping the scales and pushing guilds into war with one another. Of course peaceful guilds are free to go about their business, but a time may come when they must take up arms to protect their state of peace.

You can get the latest updates for both Wakfu and Dofus now to get in on all the wild action and fun.
