Anuman Interactive has just released the latest game from their Joystick Replay brand of remakes (like TITAN: Escape the Tower) with Prohibition 1930, a rail-shooter set in the titular year. Players take on the role of William Hall, a detective whose family was murdered, as he seeks to avenge his family and put the man responsible behind bars, too bad that man is the godfather.
Players will have to get through levels collecting pieces of evidence to link the godfather to the crime, all the while taking down his men and making sure to avoid harming the innocent people caught up in the action. Prohibition 1930 was originally released way back in 1987 for Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, and Commodore 64, which means that the original is probably pretty hard to come by in this day and age, but thanks to this remake a whole new generation can enjoy it.
So, those with fond memories of Prohibition, or those wanting to check it out for the first time, can check out the images in the gallery below, plus a launch trailer embedded to see how it looks now. Players can get Prohibition 1930 for iPad/iPhone from iTunes for $1.99 or for PC/Mac from GamersGate for $9.99, while the Android version is still on its way.

It seems that NVIDIA and Warner Bros. wanted to let players know what PhysX will be bringing to Batman: Arkham Origins, so they have released a new gameplay trailer showing off just that. From Batman’s cape to the smoke and steam Batman moves through, playing with PhysX seems to make a big difference.
Giving a comparison of Batman: Arkham Origins with and without NVIDIA’s PhysX, the video shows exactly what players can expect. With it set to off, the gameplay is a much more flat experience everything looking pretty static, but with it turned on suddenly there is a whole lot more going on, especially in terms of atmosphere. Sure, most of these things are tiny details, but for those that love that kind of thing, turned on seems the way to go.
Those wanting to see the comparison for themselves can watch the trailer embedded below. Batman: Arkham Origins is set to release October 25th, 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC.
Titanfall was one of the games announced for the Xbox One that really got people excited. Modern first person shooter elements combined with giant mech suits just sounds like an absolute dream come true. The Xbox exclusive game has definitely been a massive draw for the console, with many FPS fans eager to give it a try.
Today, EA Games have put up the latest video for the game. This video is hosted by FTW (EA’s youtube channel) and features interviews with the game’s producer Drew McCoy from this year’s Gamescom conference (additional footage was also shown at the conference, which you can check out here). The video although short, shows off some new footage of the game, showcasing a lot of the multiplayer campaign elements that players can expect when the game launches next year.
Check out the video below, and let us know what you think about Titanfall. Are you excited to jump into a mech suit and blast your opponents away? Or will you be getting a PS4 and disappointed that you can’t get the game? Or neither? either way we want to know what you think so let us know in the comments below, and remember to stay tuned to Capsule Computers for all the Titanfall news as it becomes available.
