0

tokyo-ghoul-re-announcementIt looks like fans of the Tokyo Ghoul manga series will have more of it to look forward to. After the controversial ending of the series, Sui Ishida is now working on Tokyo Ghoul:re, a manga that will be published in Weekly Young Jump.

It is currently unknown whether or not this manga series will serve as a direct continuation of the events in Tokyo Ghoul but it is worth noting that past teasers from the author have stated that “The Legend has a beginning. If you bear witness to the this beginning, it will be a moment you will never forget as long as you live!!”

It seems we will find out when the first chapter is published soon, though some teaser images released early have signs that point towards a three year time skip.

As for the beginning of the series, Viz Media recently announced their licensing of the original Tokyo Ghoul manga series and will begin publishing it in North America in June 2015.

Chou-Megami-Shinkou-Noire-Gekishin-Black-Heart-official- (3)

Fans of Hyperdimension Neptunia’s Noire will be happy to hear that her own spin-off game, Chou Megami Shinkou Noire Gekishin Black Heart, is going to be released in the West by Idea Factory International and best of all, it’ll have a less confusing name.

Now called Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart, this title is a strategy RPG that will be released both at retail and digitally for the PS Vita in North America and Europe in early 2015. Unlike other games in the series, Hyperdevotion Noire takes place in the world of Gamarket where the CPUs of the four nations are still battling against each other, but this time right when Noire is about to claim victory all of the CPUs’ powers are drained. As such, Noire must rally her allies in order to defeat the new enemies and unite Gamarket.

As you will see in the video below, players take control of Sebastian Castellanos, a police detective that has been trapped in a world of “shifting planes and distorted reality” where exploration can be the key to survival as healing items and ammunition can be found off the beaten path. However even with all of the ammo you find, the multitude of enemies can make stealth the best option for survival.

Telltale’s Game of Thrones teaser image released

telltale-game-of-thrones-teaser

Although we learned that Telltale Games would be working on a Game of Thrones title sometime in the future, that announcement came almost a year ago. Well it seems that we will soon be learning more about the game as Telltale has released the above teaser image for their upcoming game. As you can see, it contains a quote from the book mentioning the Ironwoods as well as a picture of a sword within a tree, which is likely a house sigil.

While we still have no details about what the game might be about, it seems like the Ironwoods will be playing an important role in some way. Either that or this is an elaborate ruse to catch the attention of fans of Game of Thrones.
