Koei Tecmo America and Multiverse Studio Inc. have announced that they have entered into an agreement to create collectible products based on the Ninja Gaiden video game series and their very first statue will be none other than the main character of the franchise, Ryu Hayabusa. The 1/6th scale Ninja Gaiden Ryu Hayabusa Resin Statue will be released on June 2015 though at the moment no price has been announced for the figure.
When it is released, the statue will be thirteen inches tall from head to base and incorporate LED lights that will add “effects and theatrical ambiance” and those can be powered by either an AC cord or a USB cord. Koei Tecmo has recently released a new set of screenshots, character models, and artwork of new mitama that will be available when Toukiden: Kiwami is released for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in North America on March 31st and in Europe on March 27th.
For those unaware, Toukiden: Kiwami will feature a new story that takes place three months after the events at the end of the original Toukiden and feature a deeper introduction into the heiarchy of the Slayer organization as players are introduced to the elite slayer unit ‘The Hundred Demon Corps’ made up of their Captain Soma, a young slayer named Reki with who is extremely skilled with a naginata, and Horo, a girl who wields an oversized rifle but has very few memories of her past.

The Escapists challenges players to become the ultimate prison inmate, one that is not afraid to take risks to pull off a perfect ‘prison break’ across 6 unreleased prisons. The key to escaping requires careful time management, working around the guards strict prison schedule and cell shakedowns. Players are tasked to craft weapons, such as the cutter, shovel or rope made of sheets and weapons as “Sock Mace,” the “Comb Blade, for their escape plan.

The famed fictional sailor has gone through a lot of re-tellings throughout the years; from his original Arabian Night tales he has since had a TV series made, gave his name to a questionably funny comedian and even let Brad Pitt be his voice in a Dreamworks animated movie.
This year the sailor will once again be in animated form, but this time he will be getting the anime makeover. Nippon Animation will be releasing the film Sinbad: Sora Tobu Hime no Shima (or Sinbad: The Flying Princess and the Secret Island) in July to celebrate its 40th anniversary. An official website was created for the film and a thirty second teaser has been recently uploaded onto the site, you can check out the trailer by clicking the video down below.
Nippon Animation will be working alongside studio Shirogumi to produce the film project, Shinpei Miyashita will be directing the film and Yoshiharu Sato (animation director for My Neighbor Totoro) has been given the role of character designer and animation director.

A new trailer has been released for the first-person shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing called Rise of the Terminators. Deathwing based on the ever popular warhammer 40k IP and takes inspiration from the original Space Hulk boardgame. We’ve previously covered the release of screenshots from the game’s engine and are now being shown a cool new trailer.
The trailer itself is rendered with the in-game engine and makes for some nice 40k visuals as space marines in tactical dreadnought (terminator) armour go toe-to-toe with ravenous genestealers. The video juxtaposes well with the song Walking With a Ghost by Swiss band Kadebostany. Unfortunately, the trailer does not showcase any gameplay (as far as I can see) but it’ll be interesting to see another FPS title make use of the 40k IP (with the only other example so far being Fire Warrior).
The game is being developed by Streum On Studio, co-produced by Cyanide Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive. You can find the official site here.
The new cinematic trailer teases Rico’s new wing suit, which will augment Rico’s signature grappling hook and parachute combo. Statues and banners of Rico’s new nemesis General Di Ravello can also be seen in various states of destruction in the fire-themed video. Unfortunately, no gameplay footage has been released at this time.
Just Cause 3 takes the series to the fictional Mediterranean island of Medici and will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows during the 2015 holidays. Contrary to initial speculation, the game will be a full retail title.
Indie developers n-Space and Digital Extremes revealed their new party based RPGSword Coast Legends today. It is the first new game in Dungeon & Dragon’s Forgotten Realms campaign setting in almost four years.
Sword Coast Legends seeks to re-create the tabletop RPG environment by bringing together four players and a Dungeon Master together to create epic adventures. The game is being developed in close partnership with Dungeons & Dragons publisher Wizards of the Coast.
n-Space and Digital Extremes plan to support the game post-launch with Module expansions that will provide new content for players.
The game is available for pre-order at the official site. A redeemable Steam key for the base game is available at a discount for $34.99 USD, with prices going up for the Digital Deluxe and Limited Edition Collector’s Pack. Sword Coast Legends will sell for $39.99 at release.
Tyler, Derek, and Spiro from NetherRealm Studios sat down for another episode of Kombat Kast live stream featuring classic Mortal Kombat fighters Kitana and Reptile.
The hour long Twitch.TV live stream shows off some gameplay footage of Mortal Kombat X’sdevelopment build. Plenty of in-game footage will give players a preview of Kitana and Reptiles many variations in the new game, and the live stream caps off with an all out brawl between Kitana and Reptile. The developers also provided a behind the scene look on how the developers are updating the two classic characters.

Mortal Kombat X will launch on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows on April 14, 2015.
I think that title is enough to get fans of One Piece excited. After a lot of demand, Bandai Namco have now brought One Piece: Treasure Cruise outside of Japan and to the iOS and Android marketplace (but don’t forgot about the other offering this year). This role-playing title has players make their own band of pirates, level up, and do battle in a brand new One Piece experience.

The Pokemon Company is giving three lucky people from each participating region to create the art for their very own Pokemon card! To enter this contest all you will need is a copy of Pokemon Art Academy for the 3DS and access to Miiverse as that is where you submit your entry. There are two themes within the contest, a cosplay Pikachu theme and a draw your favourite Pokemon theme. The contest does have a few rules and points you should be aware of before you get your Divinci on though.
The card will not be made a part of any official expansion or be able to used in any official tournaments. It is also not made clear if you get to also design the cards attacks or if it will feature standard card features such as type or evolution. Three winners in each category from each of the following countries will be announced, with each receiving a 100 copies of their created card; Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, and Russia.Only you first entry will be recognized so make it count.
The U.S.A, Canada and Mexico have slightly different rules which you can read up on at the official website. The contest is open from February 18th until midnight on the 29th of March. How to Enter the Pokémon Art Academy Competition
· Create and save an image in Pokémon Art Academy using Free Paint mode.
· Select the “Share” option from Pokémon Art Academy’s main menu and connect to the Miiverse.
· Select the “Post to Competition” option and agree to the Terms of Use.
· Highlight the category you’d like to enter and then choose “Select Competition”. Only the first post you make will be recognised as your entry.
· Slide over the image and select it and then choose “Share Selected”.
· Enter a comment (if you would like to) and then select “Post”. The image will be posted to the Miiverse Community and entered into the competition.
· The only way to enter the competition directly is from the Pokémon Art Academy game, available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS systems.
