Today Tecmo Koei revealed additional details for their upcoming release of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge as well as a number of new screenshots. Ryu will have access to some powerful but slow Dual Sword weaponry which have a shockwave like attack, an upgradable Lunar Staff as well as the Kusari-Gama scythe.
The new female characters will also have additional weaponry and abilities. Ayane will have new revamped Ultimate Techniques and combo attacks as well as a Phantom Spear skill. As for Momiji and Kasumi, you can check them out in action below. It is interesting to note that outside of new weapons and character additions, there will also be a hundred Ninja Trials for players to test their skills with. Expect to see Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 2nd.
