With the hopefully triumphant return of the Terminator series only a few months away, Paramount Pictures have put up a new “living one-sheet,” for the film. A living one-sheet is basically an animated poster video that is put up on YouTube for the world to see, and this one is pretty badass:

What time is it kids? What time is it! It’s firmware upgrade TIME! Woo Hoo! On a bit more of a serious note, Sony have been adding a lot to the PS4, ironing out bugs and bringing content that has never saw a console before. Deemed software update version 2.50. or if you’re fancy (PUT THAT PINKY UP!) codenamed “Yukimura” for the Playstation Network.
Yukimura adds further accessibility, more sharing options, and everything listed below:
Jump Back Into Games Faster with Suspend/Resume*
Suspend/Resume, which will be supported by nearly all PS4 titles, will allow PS4 owners to spend less time waiting for games to load and more time playing. Gamers will be able to suspend their game by putting their PS4 into Rest Mode, and then quickly resume the game where they left off by pressing the PlayStation button on the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller, which wakes their system.
Back-Up and Restore Hard Disc Drive to External USB Drive
“Yukimura” allows PS4 owners to back-up and restore the hard disc to and from an external USB drive. Hard disc drive data includes settings, saved data, screenshots and video clips as well as games, patches and download data.
Find and Connect with Friends
PS4 owners will now be able to search for Facebook Friends with their linked account. Friend requests and Real Name requests can be sent together in one step when adding a friend on PS4. The update will allow users to easily view what their friends are playing by adding a “Friends Who Play This” section on each game detail page, while also highlighting which friends are currently online and playing it. The process to create a Party has also been streamlined with a reduction in the number of steps required. Additionally, the What’s New section will now feature a section where users can see what their friends are currently playing enabling them to join in the game if they own it or find out more on PlayStation®Store.
Share Your Earned Trophies and Trophy List Enhancements
PS4 owners have been sharing their most impressive gaming moments since the launch of the system, and with “Yukimura,” a screenshot will automatically be captured when a Trophy is earned, making it easy for users to share their favorite gaming moments with their friends. The update will also make it easy for players to share Trophy information to Facebook, Twitter or via Message by pressing the SHARE button. Additionally, users will now be able to sort their Trophy list by “Earned Date,” “Not Earned,” and “Grade,” as well as the option to remove games from the Trophy list that have zero percent completion.
Improved and Expanded Accessibility Options
“Yukimura” introduces new options to customize the user experience with PS4, making it easier for gamers with impaired vision and limited manual dexterity to play. Customized button assignments for DUALSHOCK 4 and a zoom feature for displayed pictures and inverted colors will be available for all system functions, apps and games. Enlarged text will be available across the graphical user interface, including Message and Party, and enlarged text will also be enabled for use in the system’s browser. Bolder fonts and higher contrast UI will be available for all system applications but will not apply to games or third-party applications.
Additional features and updates introduced with “Yukimura” include:
- Remote Play and Share Play: For games that support 60 fps, users will be able to automatically enjoy those games with 60fps for both Remote Play and Share Play on supported devices.
- Automatic Installation for System Software Updates: Users will be able to automatically install future system software updates.
- Sub-Account Upgrade: Users 18 years of age or older with sub-accounts will be able to upgrade to a master account directly on PS4, removing restrictions on chat and enabling users add funds to their Wallet, purchase content and more.
- Verified Accounts: Verified accounts for game industry professionals, including developers, producers, designers and community managers will appear with a badge.
- com: Players will have the ability to upload video clips directly to Dailymotion via the SHARE button.
The PlayStation®Vita system and PlayStation App for smartphones and tablets will also receive system software updates with the same timing as “Yukimura,” adding complementary features to those added to PS4 with the update. PS Vita update version 3.50 and PlayStation App update version 2.50 will add new accessibility options, including enlarge text, increase contrast and more. This update also enables PS Vita to support 60fps streaming for Remote Play.

2K Games and Gearbox Software released Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One into the Australian wilds today. The collection contains Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! and all the DLC content for both games.
The collection also features a visual upgrade to make the most of the next gen console’s higher specs, and four player split screen for those with really big TVs. Those who own either game on a previous gen console can use cross save compatibility to bring their vault hunter to the new console. Do note that cross compatible saves are only applicable to the same console family, so PlayStation to Xbox saves (or vice versa) will not be possible.
Two pieces of DLC is now available for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! “Claptastic Voyage” adds a new mini-campaign inside Claptrap’s mind. “Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2” bumps the level cap up to 70. Both DLC are part of the season pass and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. “Claptastic Voyage” can also be purchased on its own for $13.95 AUD.
ESTSoft announced the beta plans for their upcoming MMORPG Cabal II. The closed beta will start in late April. Sign ups for the closed beta have opened at the official site. The developers will be giving away keys to the open beta throughout April on their social media sites.
CABAL II is the follow up to CABAL Online, an MMORPG that has seen over 30 million players since the game launched in Korea in 2005. CABAL II focuses on skill based combat and responsive controls. The game features six classes and four of the dungeons have been revealed. CABAL II will be free to play.
EA and Bioware announced the first piece of single player DLC content for Dragon Age: Inquisition has launched for Xbox One and Windows.
Dragon Age: Inquisition “Jaws of Hakkon” takes players to the land of Thedas, where the last Inquisitor locked horns with the a powerful dragon. Thedas’s lands may be varied, but there is a focus on a vertical landscape, such as towering mountains and large forests. Players will find new legendary armour and weapons buried within Thedas.
“We are humbled by the game’s reception so far but are not done with the world of Thedas just yet,” said Mike Laidlaw, Creative Director, BioWare. “We hope the new DLC speaks to our dedication of growing Inquisition with meaningful and exciting new content for our fans, new and old.”
Dragon Age: Inquisition “Jaws of Hakkon” costs $24.99 AUD on Xbox One and Windows as a timed exclusive. A launch on PlayStation will follow in the coming weeks.

Ubisofts‘ massive open world racer The Crew has received it’s second of four known DLC packs and it comes with three new cars for those willing to shell out some cash. To see all the cars mentioned below in action be sure to check out the trailer embedded at the bottom of the page.
The first car is the Chevrolet Corvette C3, available in performance spec only. The third generation of an iconic American sports car, this classic replaced the C2 Stingray. Originally dubbed the Mako, this generation packs a powerful V8 and a sleek new body. If third time’s the charm then this ‘vette should be your first choice.
Next up we have the Spyker C8 Aileron which again is available only in perf spec. For a touch of Dutch speed, the Spyker C8 provides off the wall performance in an alternative package. The Aileron is the most recent model, with new bodywork and a higher top speed. For lightning quick performance, the Spyker C8 will perform valiantly.

Online retailers Right Stuf and Amazon have listed release dates for Discotek Media’s March and April releases.
To be released on March 31, 2015 is the complete collection of Chi’s Sweet Home on DVD. This set will contain all 104 episodes with English subtitles. Also being released on that day is a thin pack DVD release of Lovely Complex. This set will feature all 24 episodes with English subtitles.
The subtitled DVD collection of Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, the subtitled DVD collection of the Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers TV series and the DVD collection of the English adaptation of Samurai Pizza Cats will be released on April 28, 2015.
Finally, the collector’s edition Blu-ray release of Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro has been delayed until June 23, 2015. Discotek has not yet made a statement about this.
Recently Microsoft and 343 Industries released launched a new teaser campaign for Halo 5: Guardians. The full reveal will occur on March 30th with a live-action trailer but for now we do have some hints thanks to an interactive “Bullet” teaser. Now I won’t spoil exactly what this teaser will reveal but it does give us a hint as to the storyline of Halo 5: Guardians as well as what may have happened to the hero that everyone knows.
