It looks like Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is going to have quite a guest-star roster before Koei Tecmo decides to move on. Not only has the title pulled fighters from Virtua Fighter and Samurai Warriors already, it is now going to feature a fighter from The King of Fighters. Koei Tecmo has announced that they are bringing Mai Shiranui to the game sometime in September as DLC and this will mark the first time that a character from The King of Fighters will be joining the roster.

The company also announced that they will be releasing a special collaboration set for Attack on Titan fans that include a set of thirty costumes for the roster as well as an Attack on Titan fighting stage on July 19th and you can check that out, plus Mai Shiranui in action, below.

Although Kenichiro Takaki’s Senran Kagura series has seen quite a lot of success in the West, many wondered whether his new title outside the popular franchise, Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni, would ever make it to English audiences. After being released late last year in Japan, there had been no word of an official Western release for the game but now PQube is stepping up to the plate to take that challenge.

The publisher has announced that they are planning on bringing the “high octane busty” brawler that features an aerial-based combat system with “pleasure-based weaponry and destructible clothing” to North America and Europe where they will be offering the game both physically and digitally for the PS Vita in 2016.

Salandit, a Poison and Fire Type Pokémon, Revealed for Pokémon Sun & Moon

Fans of poison type Pokémon will be pleased that they will have a new strange little lizard to add to their arsenal when Pokémon Sun and Moon are released later this year. I say this because a brand new Pokémon called “Salandit” has been revealed and has a rather unusual typing as it is a Poison/Fire combination with a special ability that will be quite useful against those who previously were a bane in poison users’ backsides. The ability is “Corrosion” and it makes it so that every Pokémon can now be poisoned, including Steel and Poison types that were previously immune to the status affliction.

Salandit is described by Nintendo as emitting toxic gas, together with flames, from the base of its tail. This poisonous gas has a sweet smell, and anyone who unknowingly breathes it in will become dizzy. Salandit is not a very powerful Pokémon, but its cunning nature allows it to battle fiercely by throwing its opponents off balance. Salandit females not only release toxic gases, they can also emit pheromones that attract males of all species, including Pokémon and humans. Inhaling these pheromones may cause opponents to be controlled by Salandit’s will.

New Screenshots and Details Revealed for Koei Tecmo’s Berserk

berserk-screenshot-(29)

Koei Tecmo has released some new details for their upcoming Berserk title including the reveal that, as many expected Casca, and Judeau will be playable characters alongside Guts and Griffith when the game is released in Japan on September 21st for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PlayStation 3. A Western release of the game has already been confirmed for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC though no release window has been given.

In Berserk the longer players fight in combat the more brutal their attacks will become, with players eventually being able to split enemies in two with a single attack and face down monsters known as “Apostles” that will stand in your way. These foes will be so powerful that players will need to adapt to fit their combat style as their usual tactics will likely not work on most of these difficult enemies. Thankfully Guts is equipped with his famous “Dragonslayer” as well as a number of other weapons including a cannon on his artificial arm and a rapid-fire crossbow.
