new-danganronpa-v3-screenshot-22

The official Japanese website for New Danganronpa V3 has been updated by Spike Chunsoft with plenty of new screenshots, a teaser trailer, and some new details about various mechanics that will be in the game. This includes the returns of Nonstop Debates where arguments between students take place during a Class Trial and tasks players with finding inconsistencies in their arguments and pointing them out though this time around players will also have the ability to agree with other characters or point out a lie.

Panic debates occur when students start talking over one another in a hectic atmosphere and similar to Nonstop Debates players must find an inconsistency but since so many characters are talking at once, doing so will be quite difficult. You can check out the new screenshots and trailer below while the game itself is set to be released on the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan on January 12th.

UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION WITH HUDSON MOHAWKE ON WATCH_DOGS® 2 SOUNDTRACK

UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION WITH HUDSON MOHAWKE ON WATCH_DOGS® 2 SOUNDTRACK

First Track “Shanghaied” Now Available, Soundtrack Releases November 11

Sydney, Australia — October 27, 2016 —Today, Ubisoft® announced that it has partnered with producer Hudson Mohawke to compose the original soundtrack for its upcoming open world action-adventure game, WATCH_DOGS® 2. The game will be available worldwide for consoles November 15 and on Windows PC November 29.

Hudson has produced music since his early teens and has become the go-to producer for the biggest names in music, including Kanye West, Drake, John Legend, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Pusha T, Tinashe, Frank Ocean and Björk. Stylistically, the WATCH_DOGS 2 soundtrack draws a sound that has become synonymous with Hudson Mohawke, harking back to his earlier work fusing electronics and hip-hop, while hinting toward Hudson’s love of Tomita, John Carpenter and Vangelis.

“Working on this soundtrack was a really exciting and refreshing prospect for me, especially considering the themes in the game are things I’m also passionate about,” said Hudson Mohawke. “When Ubisoft approached me to work alongside them in developing the game’s sounds, I knew I wanted to use the palette of some cult sci-fi soundtracks while also incorporating my own style. It’s been a real learning experience, and even a challenge at some points, but very rewarding in terms of expressing myself creatively and allowing me to reach new audiences with my music without needing a ‘genre’ stamp.”

In WATCH_DOGS 2, players explore the birthplace of the tech revolution as Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker who has fallen victim to ctOS 2.0’s predictive algorithms and accused of a crime he did not commit. In Marcus’ quest to shut down ctOS 2.0 for good, hacking is the ultimate weapon. Players can not only hack into the San Francisco Bay Area’s infrastructure but also every person and any connected device they possess to trigger unpredictable chains of events in this vast open world.

The WATCH_DOGS 2 official soundtrack releases worldwide on November 11.

‘Skip Beat’ English Dub to Feature Four Songs in English

skip-beat-screenshot-04Pied Piper announced today via their Kickstarter page for the Skip Beat! anime that they have received approval to include four cover songs in their English dub of the series. Cover versions of the following songs will be included in the dub: “Dream Star”, the opening song for episodes 1-19, “Renaisscance”, the opening song for episodes 20-25, “Burnin’ Down”, the insert song in episode 11 and “Prisoner”, the insert song in episode 19.

Pied Piper noted that obtaining the rights to produce an English version of any song in the Skip Beat! anime was difficult and involved a significant amount of effort. As they were unable to secure the rights to dub the rest of the songs featured in the anime, they have asked the backers to help decide whether to include the four aforementioned songs in the English dub and simply leave the others in Japanese or to leave all songs in Japanese and only include the English songs as extras.
