Unique Global Operations Game Mode Available Now

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – October 27, 2016 – Today, Obsidian Entertainment and global publisher My.com, released the new Global Operations mode for Armored Warfare. Global Operations is an exciting new approach to the tank genre, fusing PvE and PvP game modes together in a unique and explosive mix. Teams of tank commanders will not only compete against each other, but can now capture tactical bonuses that give their team a strategic edge over their adversaries. These tactical Wildcards modernize the theatre of war by adding surveillance drones, stealth bombers, and deployable anti-tank turrets functioning as support for either team. Global Operations is played on Desert Crossing, the largest map the game has ever introduced, which features game changing weather effects like a sandstorm that limits the player’s view range.

Wildcards:

One important new feature in the Global Operations mode released with the update 0.18 is the option to deploy Wildcards. These are special abilities that, based on their use, can have a major effect on the course of battle.

• Recon UAV:  The Recon UAV represents a Predator drone that circles over a certain area, spotting all enemy units within its view range.
• Airstrike: The Airstrike Wildcard consists of a B2 Spirit bomber that rains hell in a limited area on the map, selected by the player who managed to capture it.
• Pillbox Deployment:  This Wildcard allows the players to deploy a series of 3 pillboxes, which fire anti-tank missiles into eight pre-determined positions on the map.

Guildford, UK – October 27, 2016 – Edge Case Games, developers of the award-winning team-based space combat game, Fractured Space, today announced the game has attracted over one million players while achieving a Metacritic game rating of 80%. The team is celebrating with a new Phase 1.5 game update bringing players a free Halloween crew member, a cracking new ship and much more.

Fractured Space, which officially launched one month ago, pits two teams of five giant capital ships against each other in matches that highlight teamwork and strategy with MOBA-style lanes and sectors as players work together to destroy the enemy’s team base. The game’s new update adds an undead crew member, repair specialist Ridley J. Fincher, as seen in today’s trailer. Ridley is free to every player who logs in from today through November 3—log in now to get his skeletal hands to help your ship! The main game map will also feature a special Halloween moon in Gamma sector through November 3rd.

The update’s new Zarek Centurion ship brings a colossal projected force field that can shield itself and allies against attacks. The ship’s supportive role is further augmented by its primary weapon’s ability to enhance the output of allied fire on a single target, and it also carries an area denial weapon that can severely punish any opponent not willing to withdraw. The Centurion is the ideal battlefield command vessel, allowing its captain to issue movement or targeting instructions to his or her fleet while maintaining a significantly defended position.

Fractured Space has over 30 customizable ships, well-tuned battle mechanics, two different game modes, deep team strategy, gorgeously detailed graphics and a balanced free-to-play economy. Recently added features include AI Captains for solo and co-op play vs. bots, new ways to play with friends, a revamped user interface and gameplay enhancements designed to enhance match intensity. The game has more than 30 “equal but different” ships ranging from damage-dealing cruisers to long range snipers to helpful support ships to more specialized spaceships that can cloak to ambush, grapple another ship to pull it close or blink to surprise attack and escape.

With the update, the game’s streamlined Frontline mode can now be played in both solo and co-op modes as well as multiplayer, providing a simple, single lane map and a 10-minute limit before the game goes to sudden death overtime. As before, the main Conquest mode can be played in solo, co-op and multiplayer to offer varied gameplay possibilities with three lanes, five sectors and an epic endgame scenario to destroy the enemy base.

In Operation Black Shark, players infiltrate a gargantuan skyscraper which is being constructed by Blackwood, the military arm of a cabal of supranational corporations. Fighting as part of an elite squad dispatched by Warface – the special-operation forces formed to oppose Blackwood – players must battle hard, smart, and as a team to work their way through each enemy-flooded floor before bringing the tower down. Gamers will take on Blackwood’s finest troops, lead-spitting automatic turrets, and a relentless horde of cyborg warriors in an all-action tower raid that demands players evolve their tactics on the fly.
