Chillingo & Angry Mob Games Presents : The Guerrilla Bob Story


It all started with two best friends. Bob and John Gore have been friends since they were 10, and continued to be best buddies through high school, and then through college.

Eventually, Bob decided to enroll in the army, while John Gore chose a life of crime and money.

Bob got great achievements and got promotion after promotion, until he got to be a national hero.

Jealous of his success, John Gore set him up so that Bob would look like a corrupt soldier. So Bob was kicked out of the army.

With nothing left to do, Bob decided to get REVENGE, and became a rebel. From then on, he would go by the name Guerrilla Bob. One day, Bob found that the army had a plan to nuke the place where his old friend John Gore had his troops. He sabotaged the plan, so he’d go in by himself and hunt them down one by one.

Dear friends,

For the next few days (Wednesday January 20th to Sunday, January 24th) we are going to help with disaster relief in Haiti by donating 100% of proceeds from all DLC sales for Castle Crashers or Alien Hominid HD on XBLA. In addition, The Behemoth employees as a group have pledged to match the amount raised through dlc sales. All money raised will be donated to American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development.

Official Sega Genesis Emulator comming soon to the Iphone

This is amazing news for Sega Fans who once again have iPhone strapped to their heads, like I DO !! 😛

Gizmodo have reported that Sega is about to release a free iPhone emulator (YES FREEEEEEE) called Ultimate Genesis (Sega Mega drive .. if you live in Australia) but here is the catch …. The Emulator is free but then you need to purchase SEGA Genesis games via downloadable content (DLC).   In a way this is a good thing.  As you can pick and choose whatever titles you like.

NOTE : The Free Emulator will include Space Harrier II and offer the following titles as additional purchases.

  • Sonic the Hedgehog: $5.99
  • Golden Axe: $4.99
  • Ecco the Dolphin: $2.99
  • Shining Force: $2.99

The Sega Genesis is due out for release sometime in February.  We’ll keep you posted closer to the date 🙂

Ubisoft have announced the RE-RELEASE of their iPhone & iTouch title Assassin’s Creed II : Discovery will be availabe once again on the 1st of February with a NEW low price of $9.99US.

If you happen to have downloaded the Assassin’s Creed II : Discovery when it released for only a few hours.  Once the game is released on 1st, you won’t have any issues updating it as it shares the same iTunes app ID.

Great news, for Final Fantasy fans that also have a iPhone.  The following statement and images were released on  Square’s Facebook page.

“Over 20 years since the original releases, FINAL FANTASY and FINAL FANTASY II are coming to iPhone / iPod touch!” 

There is no date just a TBA and a stay tuned comment at the bottm.  Final Fantasy was originally released in 1987 and since then it’s become one of the most successful series for Square Enix having sold over 85million copies worldwide. 

From looking at the images/screenshots below.  Graphically its looking STUNNING !! stay tuned for more updates in the day/weeks ahead.
