A fresh trailer has just been released for Konami’s upcoming sequel in the SAW franchise!
Judging by the trailer it seems that we’ll get to witness many incredibly violent (virtual) torture scenes as the main character, Michael, will progress through the game.
The game will be available for the X-Box and PS3 and is scheduled to be released on October 31st.
Some important teams are already out from the World Cup 2010, but you have a chance to change this by yourself in Fifa Manager 11.
EA Sports will celebrate the tenth anniversary of its popular football management series with Fifa Manager 11, considered by them as a leap forward in virtual football management.
Fifa Manager 11 includes a host of new feature enhancements including an improved tactics system, a much more realistic transfer market and an extended online mode that offer easier access to novice players while providing a deeper experience for existing fans. Fifa Manager 11 allows gamers to take control and show the highly paid professional coaches how it’s really done.

Fifa Manager 11 is in development for EA Sports by Bright Future Studios in Cologne. The game is expected for the PC, in five different languages, this autumn.

Get the pasta and the canoli’s out as 2K have released the next Dev Diary for Mafia II. Developer Diary 3 video below goes through and focuses on the World, Setting and Mafia Life. Mafia II developed by 2K Games released on the 24th of August on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Enjoy the video below. This is certainly shaping up quite nicely. 2K Games are doing are fantastic job.

Over at the Capcom Store you have the chance to pre-order Chibiterasu in full plush format. Chibiterasu is the protagonist for the upcoming DS Okami Sequel and boy is this one of the best bits of video game merchandise I’ve ever seen.
Chibiterasu is 17.7 inches long (45 CM) and as you can see below is perfect for a lap pillow/dog. Unfortunately you can only purchase this great plush wolf through Capcom’s Japanese store and will be available a week after the game itself comes out in Japan. If you wish to purchase this adorable Okamiden plushie then you will have to have a friend in Japan purchase it for you. And then you would need to reimburse them for the price of ¥5,040 ($57)
You know a video game franchise has expanded beyond the video game world when there are shoes being designed that use the characters for templates. That is true right now with Street Fighter. As Nike and Capcom have teamed together to make official Street Fighter character themed shoes. There are currently two designs out at the moment, but more are expected to be released as time goes on.
The blue and white Dunk Low shoes are designed on Chun-Li’s colors, while the black, red, and white Mid Kicks are taken from Ryu’s colors. Unfortunately however, the only bit that we can tell even comes from the characters themselves is the coloring. There is not even a Capcom logo on the shoe, but just a Nike symbol. It will be interesting to see how much these cost but with only the colors being used, it’s a wonder if they would even be classified as Street Fighter Themed.

THQ Australia (Distributors of Capcom product in Australia) today confirmed that one of this year’s most hotly anticipated titles, Dead Rising 2, is set for release in Australia on September 30th.
In addition to news of the release date, Australian gamers playing Dead Rising 2 will receive the full experience, playing the same version released in North America and the UK. Dead Rising 2 has received an MA15+ classification and consumer advice of strong horror violence, blood and gore and sexual references. (I can’t believe this .. it’s like some sort of miracle has happened)
Sequel to the million plus seller, Dead Rising, and set in the gambling paradise of Fortune City, Dead Rising 2 introduces new main character, Chuck Greene, and delivers 1000s more zombies with even more ways to defeat them as players try to survive for 72 hours in this darkly comedic, no holds-barred action title.

Popular rock bands contribute to soundtrack for Deep Silver’s high-flying off-road arcade racing game
The ultra-fast off-road racing experience that is nail’d is to receive a rousing soundtrack featuring big names from the rock scene. While players race their quads or bikes down over-the-top tracks at breakneck speeds, fly through the air over yawning chasms and dodge insane obstacles that seem to spring from out of nowhere, a collection of kickass songs will help fuel their adrenaline to the absolute limit.
Deep Silver has secured the rights to epic music including tracks from Slipknot, the Backyard Babies, Queens of the Stone Age and Rise Against. Bands like these play fast and hard and provide the perfect soundtrack for a game that is all about speed, attitude and fun.
“We wanted a soundtrack that inspires the player to deliver their absolute best performance each and every time they race,” said Geoff Mulligan, COO of Deep Silver, Inc. “nail’d is about speed and nothing inspires the reckless and risky behavior required to dominate in the world of nail’d like guitar-shredding rock n roll.”
In addition to this fantastic collection of electrifying licensed tracks, nail’d will also feature incredible music created especially for the game by an all-star group of rock luminaries. More details regarding the nail’d OST and the stars contributing to it will be released in the near future.
Developed by Techland, nail’d will be released for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, and Windows PC. The worldwide launch of nail’d has been scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2010.

Yesterday, Deep Silver proved to us that point-and-click Adventure games aren’t dead with the release of Secret Files: Tunguska.
In 1908, a mysterious explosion over Tunguska, Russia puzzled scientists. Today, the consensus is that a meteoriod exploded in the atmosphere, but perhaps it was actually something far more sinister. As Nina Kalenkov, a modern day Russian living in Berlin, searches for her missing father, she begins to uncover the extraordinary secrets of Tunguska.
Laden with puzzles, interactive environments, and multiple dialogue options, Secret Files: Tunguska promises to be one helluva ‘explosive’ game.
I feel dirty for having made that joke. I need to shower.
Anyway, stay tuned for an upcoming review by yours truly, and we’ll find out if the game is worthy of purchase.
Secret Files: Tunguska retails for about $20 US, and is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
Valve has released the final two parts of their Portal 2 video extravaganza. And now we see that things will be quite messy this time around with the Propulsion and Repulsion gel. You can see everything below in these videos and boy are they quite complicated. Also the second video contains video of all the various additions working with one another. Plus we see some deadly spiked walls of doom slamming down on what could have been the poor test subject.
Personally I enjoy the way that the gel actually moves around and flies through the air; as well as the skidding that the propulsion gel causes. The repulsion gel itself is another useful tool but seems just like a movable aerial faith plate.
If you act quickly you may be able to gain early access to the Xbox 360 demo of Kane & Lynch 2 in either the United States or the United Kingdom. It is not required but I recommend visiting the games website to find out more information about the demo.
However acquiring the demo is as simple as pressing a few buttons on your cell phone. As you may see on your Xbox Dashboard, you only have to text the following to 72579: “Dog Days”. Bear in mind that it is not case sensitive and it is also on a first come first serve basis, so if you want to jump in on the demo early, now is your chance. As of this posting there are still codes being given out. Also a simple reply saying Stop will prevent you from receiving any more messages from Kane & Lynch 2 if you so wish. Also you can receive a code via email if you have signed up for such on their website, but those codes have largely been given out already.
Hopefully everyone can get themselves one of these codes and get in on the Multiplayer fun which will feature the Fragile Alliance game mode.
