Epic Mickey Gameplay and Info!

Yet another Holiday release is coming with Epic Mickey exclusively on the Wii. Mickey will be making an extreme change from your standard Mickey Mouse that we’ve all grown to love. There will be characters drawn from nearly every Disney franchise including some of the various theme park attractions.

There will be the use of Paint and Paint Thinner within the game to change the world around you. Enemies can be changed to allies by repainting them as something different, or destroyed by using the paint thinner to erase them from existence. Plus if you change the environment around you, you can drastically change something later in the game by a few simple adjustments. Catch the exact coverage of Disney’s Epic Mickey below!

Donkey Kong Country Returns, literally

Bringing back the DK Krew is great news and Retro Studios will be taking a crack at bringing them back with Donkey Kong Country Returns. A trailer shown at E3 has brought about the news that Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong will indeed be returning to the Wii this holiday season. Sure are a lot of games being pushed back to the holidays this time around, going to have quite a lot of choices to make later this year. Catch the shown trailer below!

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Announced at E3

Have you been waiting for a new Legend of Zelda game? I’m not talking about any simple DS game, but a full blown Wii game? Well wait no longer because Nintendo’s E3 Conference has just announced The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii. The game is slated for release in 2011 and is set to be one of the largest in the Zelda franchise, following a more realistic path much like Twilight Princess. I love the Zelda franchise and it is good to see that they are finally making a new full console version, looks like I won’t have to be playing Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time when this baby comes out.

Catch the Trailer below from Gametrailers.

Even more Mini Games coming in Wii Party!

Sure there are a medley of party games out there, Wii Party itself was originally only scheduled for release in Japan. But instead it is now coming to America during the Holiday season. The game itself will contain a total of thirteen different party games overall, and these party games will contain seventy different mini games. It may be just another mini game machine but at least they are bringing you a huge amount of them in one package.

At E3 Nintendo revealed that there was something called a Balance Boat, and a bomb passing game like hot potato style. Should be interesting to see what other crazy games they will end up bringing out. Though this feels extremely like Mario Party with Miis.

Goldeneye 007 confirmed for the Wii only

Guess what? One of the most highly acclaimed shooters of the past few generations has been confirmed for a new rerelease by Nintendo today at E3. Daniel Craig is going to be voicing James Bond rather than Pierce Brosnan and there will be eight classic bond characters that will be making a reappearance. The game is expected to arrive by the Holiday season, though there is no exact date yet.

The graphics have been updated and one of the best things about this announcement? Split screen multiplayer is coming back. There are 16 different multi-player types and the game is not going to simply be a port, but a full re-release. Who loved the original Goldeneye? I know I did.

Nintendogs bringing some feline friends

Nintendo’s E3 conference has brought about some information on a bit of our smaller friends. Satouru Iwata revealed that Miyamoto is planning to make a sequel for Nintendogs. No simple addition this time around. However there is a bit of extra news in this one. Nintendogs will be incorporating cats this time around, so if your a lover of the more mysterious feline friends then it will be arriving exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. There is no release date for this one yet, but hey it’s some great news for fans of the game, or those who want pets but can’t due to overbearing landlords. Though a bit of info here, they have actually already released a Nintencats before even the first Nintendogs came out. But the sales were very band and thus the game was never released out of Japan.

Kinect Goes Purple

It appears purple may be this years green…

Amidst the E3 mayhem gaming giant Microsoft have released cover art for upcoming Xbox 360 Kinect titles displaying what could be considered a more family oriented approach – certainly more violet than violent! Microsoft are hoping that the unique look of the Kinect software casing will provide retailers with some great point of sale opportunities, particularly in high street stores, whilst highlighting and establishing the brand to consumers as something fresh and exciting from launch.

This striking re-design looks set to distinguish the Kinect lineup from the 360’s non-camera catalogue and who knows, with a redesigned 360 imminent it may even herald an across the board image change sometime in the near future.

‘I Am Alive’ Trailer Released

Ubisoft have released a new cinematic trailer for “I Am Alive” this has certainly been a very kept very quiet so far with UBISOFT not even showing any gameplay footage.  I’m glad its still being developed as I thought it might not of seen the light of day.  But there is a light at the end of this tunnel with a Spring 2011 launch.

Click play and enjoy.  Let us know what you think of it.

Gears Of War 3 Co-op trailer – E3 2010

Who isn’t pumped for Gears Of War 3 on the Xbox 360.  Well if you missed it here is the E3 Co-Op trailer courtesy of GameTrailers and the official E3 site.

The action is fast and furios and the lambert Locust are deadly, especially the transforming ones.   Seems like you can do a whole of things in co-op which have a few people excited.  Graphically the game looks amazing running on the new Unreal Engine.

Cliff also announced a new mode which they will be showing on the floor called BEAST !! ??  .. what is it .. well stay tuned 😉

Sit back and enjoy the Gears of War 3 all-new campaign game play!  LOCK AND LOAD !!

Kinectability will require a bit of power

So you remember before how we said that the new Microsoft Kinect will be compatible with every 360 made to date?  Well it still is, but there is a catch.  You will also need another plug in on the wall or power strip.  This is because if the Kinect is not connected to the new Slim 360 you will instead have to power it using a power adapter which one would think will be included in purchase.  There has been no news yet though if this actually will be incorporated or require a separate purchase though.  Here is hoping it is included in that $150 price tag.
