Street Fighter X Tekken headed to iOS 5 devices

So you have an iPad or iPhone? You like fighting games? Well then you may want to check out Street Fighter X Tekken. That’s right Capcom is bringing the tag team crossover to iOS 5 devices. Street Fighter X Tekken marks the 3rd console game to be ported to the iOS platform the other titles being Resident Evil 4 and Street Fighter 4. Street Fighter X Tekken seems to be using the same control scheme as Street Fighter 4 on iOS which was called one of the best control schemes on any iOS game.

It is unknown if the iOS version will feature the full roaster or if it will have a very reduced roster like Street Fighter 4.  Street Fighter X Tekken will be playable on iPhone 4, 4S and iPad 2, and available this summer.  What do you think about Street Fighter X Tekken coming to iOS 5 devices?

Thief 4 Footage Leaks

Thief 4 has been in development for as many years as its own number, and yet at this year’s E3, there was no sign of it. Eidos Montreal of Deus Ex: Human Revolution are working on the title, and despite development time breezing past Deus Ex’s own gestation period, little word has emerged from the company as to progress.

However, 20 seconds of a promo reel has managed to find its way on to the internet courtesy of one Eric Wong, whose name and title helpfully pops up over the beginning of the video – lets hope he’s finished the job already.

Given that Thief 4’s website sports only the above logo and a link to a solitary forum, this is the only concrete news for the title that has surfaced in some time, which according to Kotaku, could be down to internal problems at Eidos that have seen numerous personnel leave the development team, including two level designers and a few senior staff.

Here’s hoping that’s just a series of hiccups safely ignored, and that Thief 4 finally comes into the light at some point in the near future.

Drox Operative Available for Pre-Order

Drox Operative the action RPG from Soldak Entertainment is now available for pre-order on both Mac and Windows PC.  As an added incentive pre-ordering now not only gives a reduced price of $14.99, but the ability to get in on the latest beta build and help give feedback.

The game lets players take on the role of a Drox Operative, a super elite captain trained to do the impossible, but instead of fighting for the Drox the game is set when the Drox is long since extinct save for Operatives.  Now the only goal is to take whatever jobs pay the best and stick with the winning side, as empires rise and war around you.

The game sounds pretty interesting with the only true goal being to forward yourself and your ship outside of the space empires.  Plus with co-op multiplayer, it’d be fun to completely upset empires through missions with your friends.  Players interested can pre-order Drox Operative HERE.

Street Fighter x Tekken Confirmed for iOS

After briefly showing off a demo at E3 2012, Capcom has now officially confirmed Street Fighter x Tekken will be coming to iOS devices this summer.

According to Capcom, the entire game has been completely redesigned to make it more similar to Street Fighter IV: Volt, but now with added juggling and tag mechanics, although a “new take” approach will be utilized for tagging this time around…whatever that means. Regardless, Street Fighter IV: Volt played really well so I think it’s safe to say we can expect big things from this title!

The first official screenshots have been revealed and can be seen below. Street Fighter x Tekken will be compatible with iOS 5 or higher, so get ready for when it launches this summer!
