Tokidex and other Features Detailed for Toki Tori 2

tokidex-01

Just last week, we showed you the new and improved Toki Tori 2, which is heading to the Wii U’s eShop. Yes, the game looks great, but today – Two Tribes have decided to let us know about new features this sequel will boast in a new blog post.

Of course the game will feature full gameplay support from the Gamepad, where players will be able to put the full experience onto their small-screened controller. Also at work is the Tokidex, which will let players take their Gamepad and use it as a virtual camera. One an item or creature is scanned, it is then added to the Tokidex – adding in a whole new element to the experience with 40 different pictures to snap.

Other than the Tokidex, Two Tribes spoke about the game’s post launch life, with hopes of adding in a level editor, as well as extended Miiverse support. It all sounds pretty good, and again, this is one upcoming Wii U title that many should keep their eye on.

Although breaking street date by several days in Australia the launch trailer was released alongside the official embargo.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is out now for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Check out the sweet video down below.

LEGO Lord of the Rings Traveling onto Mac

LEGO Lord of the Rings may have already visited practically every other current generation console and hand held (i.e. Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Wii, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and PC), but even with all those available options there is still a chance that gamers might have missed the chance to throw Gimli about willy-nilly, turn people into dancing skeletons, or destroy the One Ring (if you’re into that).

To ensure that the absolute maximum number of players get to enjoy any or all of those things and more, LEGO Lord of the Rings is set to be coming to Mac on February 21st, 2013.  Thanks to the folks at Feral Interactive, a leading publisher of Mac games, gamers that find themselves exclusive to Mac will be able to enjoy the adventure and fun.

Priced at $29.99 in North America (£19.99 UK or €24.99 elsewhere in Europe), LEGO Lord of the Rings will be available upon its release for direct download from Feral Interactive, as well as other partnered digital sites worldwide.
