The videogame about the movie that is based on toys, yes that’s the simplest way to put it. Everyone knows and love Lego from their childhood. Many of us probably spent hours stacking the multicoloured blocks as high as they could go before they ran out of pieces and smashed it down like Godzilla. Well Lego has come alongway from being a simple toy chain and is now a massive brand with videogame, televison specials and movie adaptations; the latest being The Lego Movie.

For those unaware, here is the official description of the game based off the simply titled film.

The game will bring players into the humorous and action-packed role of Emmet, an ordinary Lego minifigure mistakenly thought to be “The Special”—a character prophesized to save the world from an evil Lego tyrant. Throughout the game, players can harness the awesome power of the Master Builders to construct new extraordinary Lego creations, while taking on the role of more than 90 playable characters inspired by the film in 15 exciting levels. This is going to be an authentic Lego experience like never before, with a brand new Lego visual animation style which simulates the movement and feel of actual Lego toy sets.

Warner Bros. has today released the cover art for The Lego Movie Videogame. The cover features the game’s underprepared hero Emmet and a his band of unlikely resistance fighters including the spunky Wyldstyle, the wise Vitruvius, and Batman. Yes, Batman. Waiting for your copy of Dead Rising 3? No problem, here is almost a minute and a half of zombie killing bliss to keep you occupied until then. The trailer entitled “Snowflakes” shows off footage of Dead Rising 3 hero Nick Ramos fighting off the zombie horde with a variety of weapons, from the classic machine gun to the duct tape crafted double sledgehammer combo weapon.

Dead Rising 3 is an Xbox One launch title starring Nick Ramos as he attempts to escape Los Perdidos, a town that has been hit by the zombie infection. Players will be leaving the indoors to explore a full city for the first time in the series. Features like combo weapon crafting is back and expanded to include vehicles as well. Dead Rising 3 will be available on November 22nd, 2013.

Hit RPG gets a second full-length campaign, expanded features, and a great bundle for new players

 

Kirkland, WA (November 19, 2013) Harebrained Schemes’ magic-and-cyberpunk mashup Shadowrun Returns was the first $1m+ Kickstarter-funded videogame to be released, premiering as a #1 seller on Steam earlier this year. The game, which appeared on 5 “Most Anticipated Games of 2013” lists, was also a featured Game of the Week on the Apple and Google Play App Stores.

This January, Harebrained Schemes will follow-up their success with the release of Shadowrun: Dragonfall, a major expansion for Shadowrun Returns on Windows, OSX, and Linux that features a robust full-length campaign set in the city of Berlin.   • An Exciting New Locale: Shadowrun: Dragonfall transports runners to the Free City of Berlin, a thrilling Shadowrun setting full of gorgeous new hi-res environments, a diverse new cast of characters, and a new soundtrack by the composer of the original Sega Genesis Shadowrun game, Sam Powell.
  • Command Your Team: Lead a small team of shadowrunners, each with their own outlook and backstory. Each member of your team is designed to play an interesting role during missions and has a unique set of skills, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • New Weapons, Cyberware, Enemies & More: Try your hand at the long-range sniper rifle, devastating grenade launcher, or stun-inducing taser. Chrome yourself out in the latest cyberware, and take on deadly new enemies – including new magical creatures like gargoyles and fire drakes. Dragonfall brings a host of new items, characters, portraits, and improvements to the Shadowrun Returns experience.
  • Save Anywhere: You can save your progress at any time during the game. This functionality is also being added to the original Shadowrun Returns “Dead Man’s Switch” campaign.
  • New Game Editor Features: A wide range of enhancements to the game editor for community content creators – including a scripting system to better control lighting, tracking mission objectives in the main game UI, placing exploding barrels, and allowing players to input keypad passwords and custom text strings in conversations. In addition, content creators will be able to use all of the new Berlin environment art, items and characters in their own stories along with assets from the original Shadowrun Returns campaign.

Those who beat the average price paid for the bundle will also receive Kingdom Rush and Ridiculous Fishing.
