Two New Five-Level Campaigns With New Features and Challenges Now Available

Copenhagen, Denmark – November 22, 2013 — Full Control today announced that two new campaigns, ‘Defilement of Honour’ and ‘Sword of Halcyon’ are now available for purchase in Space Hulk, the 3D digital turn based strategy game based on the best-selling board game set within the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Each campaign has five brand new levels to play and also offers new features, such as Bulkhead Doors (Sword of Halcyon) and Air Ducts (Defilement of Honour) to add new elements to gameplay. The Sword of Halcyon and Defilement of Honour are available today through Steam priced at $4.99 per campaign. Sword of Halcyon

The Space Marine vessel, The Sword of Halcyon, left the orbit of the planet Falkan, for its journey home. Upon entering the Warp, the ship crashed into a Space Hulk, infecting the ship with Genestealers. When the Battlebarge, Mayan, picks up the escape pods, they decide to recapture The Sword of Halcyon.Time is of the essence in this campaign, as players must complete objectives, and take out Genestealers as quickly as possible. To aid players in the race against the clock, Bulkhead Doors are introduced, which enable terminators to completely shut off certain areas.

Defilement of Honour

Space Hulks do not move through space on their own power; but are pushed by the winds and tides of warspace. The Defilement of Honour is different, with a partially functioning engine room and an ancient navigational device in control of its course. The Blood Angels, must shut down the engines before they can destroy the Space Hulk. This campaign comes as maps featuring Air Ducts, which can only be entered by Genestealers.

Space Hulk is a 3D digital turn based strategy game that recreates the classic claustrophobic board game experience for single player and multiplayer cross-platform play between PC, Mac and iOS. Set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of an ancient vessel lost in the graveyard of space, players lead a small army of fearless Space Marine Terminators to battle in a ferocious fight for survival against hordes of predatory alien Genestealers. While NBA 2K14 was released earlier this month for current-gen consoles, the Xbox One version of the game has now been released to the public while the PlayStation 4 version of the game is still set to be released on November 29th.

So now that these next-gen versions of the game are hitting store shelves, 2K Games has released a new trailer, that can be found below, which puts an emphasis on how realistic the player models in the game look as well as the Eco-Motion engine. Those of you curious about how they made the game look so good on these next-gen consoles will be interested to hear that the games were “completely re-engineered” to take advantage of the power of next-gen platform.

Microsoft‘s Xbox One has launched in Australia (in spectacular fashion) and I now have the Day One Edition console in my possession! I shot a video unboxing for you all to see exactly what comes inside, so please check it out embedded at the bottom of this article.

Mind the glare and possible sounds of thunder in the background… a huge thunderstorm rolled through Sydney just as I prepared to shoot. As you’ll see, in the box is a commemorative Day One controller (no Play and Charge Kit, but 2 x AA batteries included), the – as some would say – VCR-like console itself (yes, it’s big and sturdy), Kinect 2.0, the Xbox One Headset, a QR code for a commemorative Day One achievement, a 14-day trial to Xbox Live Gold and, last but not least… the power brick. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Complete Roster Revealed

Namco Bandai Games has once again updated the official web page for their latest Dragon Ball Z game titled Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. This time the update details nearly the entire roster but thanks to previous news and screenshots we know the remaining blue spots will go to the fusion of Goten and Trunks, Gotenks, as well as his Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 3 forms. The two green spots will be the exclusive pre-order DLC characters, Super Saiyan Bardock and Super Saiyan Vegeta.

Some new characters that were previously unconfirmed include Cooler from the 5th and 6th movies in all of his forms, Broly in his restricted Super Saiyan form and Legendary Super Saiyan form and the Super Saiyan forms of Goten and Trunks as well as Ultimate Gohan. The giant boss characters Meta Cooler Core and Hirudegarn, who you unfortunately can’t play as but can challenge in boss fights, were also added to the official roster.

CC Impact! Presents Wrack

Final Boss Entertainment’s cel shaded arcade FPS Wrack is currently in active development. The game currently has a handful of levels and is being updated with new content every few weeks. It is currently on sale through Steam’s Early Access program.

Senior Editor Jamie Laike Tsui shows off the first few levels of Wrack, some of the new community created maps, some of the Contra-styled bosses, and all of the weapons currently available in game.
