While we have yet to see any gameplay or learn that much about the game, that hasn’t going to stop 2K Games from announcing a pre-order bonus for their newly announced title Evolve. Today the company revealed that anyone who does pre-order the game will receive a “Monster Expansion Pack” which will add in a Savage Goliath skin and a new monster character that will be released some time after the game is released sometime in the Spring on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
For those who might never have heard of Evolve before, the game is a multiplayer first-person and third-person shooter set on an alien planet in the future. Being developed by the Left 4 Dead creators, Turtle Rock Studios, the game will blend co-op and competitive gameplay as four hunters face off against an player controlled alien monster.
Publisher BulkyPix and developer TreeFortress are looking to blend genres and multi-use axes in their upcoming game Bardbarian. While it was previously selected to join 100 other games on Steam Greenlight, it looks like iOS users will be able to check the game out for themselves on Thursday, January 16th.
Bardbarian follows Brad, a barbarian that utilizes the power of rock with his axe-guitar to take on enemies with his allies in defense of his village. With hand-drawn art with some nice looking detail, players will face off against plenty of enemies with 12 different allies able to come to Brad’s aid.
Those wanting to see what kind of rocking power Brad is packing can check out Bardbarian when it releases to iOS on January 16th, 2014 for just $0.99.
Here’s a breakout sounding title for you. Today thanks to the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation, courtesy of Re:Zaregoto, Nippon Ichi Software is working on a new PlayStation 3 game and it just so happens to be roughly be called “I Thought it’d be Harem Paradise, but it was Yandere Hell.”
Currently details are relatively scarce but it is said that the game is a visual novel that will follow the theme of “mascot characters” and high school girls. Currently the game is set for release on April 24th in Japan and you can probably expect more details to be revealed in the next few days, and maybe even an NIS America localization might be in the cards somewhere in the future depending on those details.
While fans of Telltale Games were pleased to see the second season of The Walking Dead start last month, a number of fans have also been curious about when they would be seeing the second episode of The Wolf Among Us. The first episode, our review of which can be found here, was originally released in early October and fans of the episodic series have been eager to see how the story will continue.
Well it seems that they won’t have to wait too much longer as, in a forum thread, Telltale president Kevin Bruner revealed that Episode 2 will be released in the first week of February. The reason the episode was delayed is due to a “variety of reasons” but did not elaborate as to what those reasons were beyond saying that “several things conspired against us” and that the holidays also played a role in the delay.
After making it to Steam in beta through Early Access, Horizon is gearing up to release this February onto the digital platform. The space-strategy from Iceberg Interactive, publishers of Gas Guzzlers Extreme, and developer L3O Interactive is just now finishing up the final weeks of beta to prep the game for the full launch.
Based around the same concepts of 4X, the community influence has had a big hand in the final touches, including the addition of “Classic 4X” mode, which gives players 1 of 8 races to choose from to conquer a whole universe. Plus, players can expect a lot in the way of customization from races, to ships, to research branches.
Those wanting to see what Horizon has to offer can hop on into the Early Access on PC from Steam now, or wait until the final release hits in February 2014, while those in Europe can expect a retail box release as well.

Back when Idea Factory opened up their international branch in North America I believedthat it might make a few of their titles a bit easier to see in the West, especially a few of the more risque titles such as Monster Monpiece and it looks like all signs may be pointing towards that prediction coming true.
Not only has Idea Factory International’s official website provided us with four English screenshots of Monster Monpiece but a PEGI listing, originally found by NeoGAF, has also appeared for the game which rates the game for anyone twelve years or older. Now at the moment no actual localization has been announced as of yet, but Vita fans can only hope. For now, have an English description of the game, also from Idea Factory’s website:
God’s hammer struck twice, punishing the of world of Yafaniel below…
In the world of Yafaniel, humans and an unusual species called “monster girls” coexist.

However, after an encounter with a mysterious stranger, Elza became “Lost”, a victim of a strange affliction that plagues both humans and monster girls.
Elza and the monster girls in her service have begun stealing the Magus Quartzes that are held in each of Yafaniel’s major cities.
May decides to travel the world pursuing Elza in an attempt to cure her. However, May knows that if she fails to save Elza, the whole world may be destroyed!
As you may know, Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars involves players traveling through dungeons with a beautiful girl and their star children to fight against the enemies inside. Well to make those star children players must first improve their relationship with any of the seven heroines that are in the game.
Today Atlus USA has chosen to reveal the names and some details about all seven of the heroines in the game, including a hint at their unique personality traits that players will need to understand so they can improve their relationship. Feene is an earnest, polite third-year student. She is considered one of the strongest Disciples, and has already seen action on the front lines. Her formidable Gunblade has seen its fair share of battles as well.
Fuuko
Fuuko is the first female student that you’ll meet. She is bright and amicable, and quick to make friends. She sees herself as a very down-to-earth kind of person. Fuuko uses her Dual Pistols in dungeons with deadly accuracy.
Narika
The vice representative of your class. She is shy and reserved, without much self-confidence, but has a good heart and is very kind to others. Her Bowgun speaks differently about her – it packs a huge punch to monsters.
Serina
Despite her diminutive size, she is actually a third-year Disciple with incredible power. She has a good heart, but often tries to keep her true feelings hidden. Her Kick Gun is an incredible hybrid of fashion-forward footwear and death-dealing.

As a result of being raised in a research facility, Torri is very naïve about the outside world and usually believes anything she’s told. Torri materializes a powerful gatling gun to obliterate anything in her path.
Since it’s launch, the game has evolved with the help of four million registered users. They’ve provided time and feedback that will help shape the experience delivered to the community.
Said Ubisoft Producer Corey Facteau,
“Bringing Ghost Recon Online to Steam has been our goal since the game’s inception. We took the time necessary to reach a quality level that can go head to head with the top online games available today before releasing on Steam. As the top shooter for gamers who enjoy team gameplay, we have also seen our audience expand to include MOBA fans, who comprise fifty percent of our user base. To ensure a seamless transition to the new platform, we will use the Early Access program to fine tune the Ghost Recon Online experience before unleashing the game to the rest of the world.”
