great-edo-blacksmith-asaka-screenshot-01

Over the past few weeks Nippon Ichi Software has been releasing introduction trailers for each of the three girls that players will be able to interact with and court in Great Edo Blacksmith and today they released the video for the last girl, Asaka. Like the other three girls, Asaka seems to have it all together on the surface, especially in regards to money and teasing the player, but behind closed doors she seems to have struggles of her own.

Alongside this introduction video, a full trailer for Great Edo Blacksmith was released and with it comes some of the first gameplay footage we have seen for the dungeon crawling aspect of the game. The trailers can be found below and while it is unknown if NIS America will look into bringing this title to the West, they have surprised us before.

Mortal Kombat X Release Date and Pre-Order Bonus Revealed

Mortal-Kombat-X-Goro-Promo-01
Finally, we have a firm release date announced for Mortal Kombat X. While I, being an MK fanatic who is lacking patience, was hoping for a January/February release, Mortal Kombat X will be available for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and, yes, PC on April 15, 2015 in Australia and the next day in New Zealand.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment not only revealed that, but also (as you’ve already seen above) a pre-order bonus: Goro, as a playable character for the first time in almost 8 years! I expect that the Shokan Prince will be made available as a separate DLC add-on later on, but for now he is being marketed as retail channel-wide exclusive. Fighting game/MK fans… go pre-order, now! Or the four-armed warrior will break your $500 sunglasses and treat you like Art. Remember him? Exactly.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus’ new characters shown off in Famitsu

senran-kagura-estival-versus-art-01

Today Gematsu was able to obtain some new scans from this week’s issue of Famitsu with plenty of details concerning the new ninjas that are being added into Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. As we previously learned, the four new characters happen to be three sisters plus an old woman galled a grandmother.

Sayuri is the elderly woman who carries a large tobacco pipe that looks like it also works as a cane and she seems like she might be the leader of the group while Renka, the oldest sister, wears a red outfit and wields two sticks that are called Raitei. The other sister, Hanabi, is a girl who loves festivals and wears Japanese style festival clothing and uses a gigantic hammer as a weapon while the youngest sister Kafuru battles, oddly enough, with a water gun and is mocked by Hanabi for her flat chest.

The scans and images of the girls can be found below and it is worth noting that the magazine also confirms that clothing in the game can now become wet and partially see-through as well as torn up. Currently Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on March 26th.
