As we previously reported, Examu is currently working on releasing an enhanced version of Arcana Heart 3: Love Max to arcades in Japan under the name Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars. Well today the company released the opening video for the fighting game that will be hitting Japan in winter and you can check it out below as well as some screenshots that show off the new character Minori Amanohara in combat.

Minori is not the only new character in the game as the Arcana named Ichor will also be in the game. Currently it is unknown if Examu is planning on releasing this new version of Arcana Heart 3 on consoles, though considering the minor content added it may come in the form of DLC rather than a brand new game if a home release is announced.

PlayStation TV Available Now in Australia

PlayStation-TV-promo-02

PlayStation TV is now available in stores across Australia for a RRP of $149.95. For those, like me, who were never truly clear on what PlayStation TV is, it is a micro console and entertainment system that allows users to remote play PlayStation 4 titles on another television in their home.

PlayStation TV is also capable of playing PS Vita games, with slots for PlayStation and Memory Cards (it has 1GB of on-board storage). And when Sony‘s PS Now service launches, PlayStation TV will also be able to play the titles included. Remote Play is achieved via the internet, so make sure your connection is strong (LAN preferable). If your family is always taking over the big screen, grab a PlayStation TV unit and continue your game!

After the contents of The Crew Season Pass was announced last week, Ubisoft released a new trailer showing off the new content. The video features the Ferrari 458 Speciale and McLaren C12 tearing up the road; the two vehicles are exclusive to Season Pass holders at the game’s launch. There are also quick shots of the four car packs that will be launched between January and April 2015.

The Crew is an open world racer that compresses the varied driving environments of the United States into a map that takes almost 45 minutes to cross from coast to coast. The game will be released world wide on December 2nd, 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows.

Free! Eternal Summer’s Haruka Nanase to be voiced by Todd Haberkorn

free-haruka-nanase-casting-announcement

Over the course of the week we’ve learned that FUNimation will be including Greg Ayres, J. Michael Tatum, and Johnny Yong Bosch in the English dub of Free! Eternal Summer as they voice Nagisa Hazuki, Rei Ryugazaki, and Tachibana Makoto respectively. Now today they have announced that someone who is almost always part of a FUNimation dub will be voicing Haruka Nanase, as the voice actor will be Todd Haberkorn.

There are still three more days of casting announcements left for Free! Eternal Summer and perhaps at the end of these casting announcements FUNimation might give fans a hint as to when this second season will be released. Either that or news concerning the home video rights to the first season would be great.

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom Set to Come Out on PlayStation TV

Along with the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, 3DS and PC, publisher Little Orbit has announced that the WayForward-developed Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will also appear on the PlayStation TV and PS Vita handheld.

The Little Orbit CEO is especially thrilled to be bring the game to the PlayStation TV, though he doesn’t actaully mention the Vita (but having similar hardware, we can assume it still will be relased on the handheld too)

“We’re pleased to be partnering with Sony and have our game featured in their new PlayStation TV advertising campaign. The PSTV is a perfect fit for our game because it enables the entire family to play together to unravel all the secrets of the Nameless Kingdom,” – Little Orbit CEO, Matt Scott

We should see more from this game than the last one, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know. It was criticized for being too linear, so the new one is to include a bigger overworld and more puzzles, while giving players more freedom to choose their path. Comparisons have even been drawn between the new Adventure Time game and Zelda: A Link to the Past in our hands-on preview.

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will hit shelves is just a few days on the 18th November.

Seitokai no Ichizon’s first season licensed by Sentai Filmworks

student-councils-discretion-artwork-01

Today Sentai Filmworks made a surprising licensing announcement when they revealed that they now have the rights to Student Council’s Discretion, or as it was called when it aired in Japan back in 2009, Seitokai no Ichizon. Sentai Filmworks will be giving the series a home video release as well as a digital release sometime in the future.

At the moment the company has not mentioned whether or not they will be picking up the second season of Seitokai no Ichizon which aired last year, but they did provide us with their own description of the series which you can read below:

At Hekiyo Academy, all but one of the Student Council members are elected via popularity contests, and since teenagers think with hormones more often than intellects, those seats are filled by the attractive derrieres of the school’s most beautiful girls! That makes things extra rough on the one student chosen for academic scores, because besides being the council’s only male member, one of Ken Sugisaki’s main assignments is writing stories informing the student body about the many achievements of their Student Council.

That means manipulating the truth just a bit, and given that Ken’s a besotted fan of dating video games who fantasizes about his fellow council members as his “harem”, things tend to get even more out of hand. And exactly who’s going to be the leading lady is up for debate, as immature Kurimu, tomboyish Minatsu, twisted Chizuru and “boy love” obsessed Mafuyu are all trying to add their own particular spins, even as their jealous rivals in the Journalism Club aim to shoot them down! The lines between facts and fiction disappear and what really happened will probably never be revealed except at the Student Council’s Discretion!
