While gamers in North America have already known for a few weeks now that Lost Dimensionwould be released in their region on July 28th by Atlus USA, gamers in Europe have been left with a vague summer release window.
That changed today with NIS America‘s announcement that they will be releasing Lost Dimension in Europe on August 28th where the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions will be available for digital download as well as purchase at retail. To go along with this announcement a new batch of English screenshots for Lost Dimension have been released and you can check those out below.
It’s been three years since Harebrained Schemes brought the proposal for a Shadowrun reboot that returned the video game series back to its tabletop RPG roots. Since then, Harebrained Schemes has launched Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun: Dragonfall on Steam, plus is in the midst of developing Shadowrun: Hong Kong. To celebrate the anniversary, Harebrained Schemes is releasing new information about Shadowrun: Hong Kong and is slashing the prices of all three games.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong:Pre-sale – Deluxe Version – 33% off – $19.99 USD (Regularly $29.99) ** Includes the full SRHK soundtrack and “The Art of Shadowrun: Hong Kong” PDF.

Remember back in 2010 when Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was announced and supposed to be a new dawn for the franchise? Well, it is five years later and you’re ready for another Need for Speed reboot, right? No matter your answer, you’re getting one!
Electronic Arts and Ghost Games — an EA Studio — have just announced a clean slate for the popular racing franchise that is set to launch this fall.
“Need for Speed is one of the most iconic names in gaming, and we’re returning it to greatness in this reboot,” said Marcus Nilsson, Executive Producer at Ghost Games. “Pulling on our 20 years of history, and then taking a year out from releasing a game, we are making the game we’ve always wanted to. We’re listening to the fans and delivering an experience that will capture their imagination and unleash their passion for cars and speed.”
A full trailer will be released on June 15 (during E3, no doubt), but EA has released a short teaser to whet the fanbase’s appetite until then:
The new Need for Speed will hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Origin for Windows PC in Fall 2015. To see catch the June 15 full trailer, feel free to subscribe to the Need for Speed YouTube channel (or just wait for us to share it). In the meantime, take a look at images of a Porsche and Ford Mustang from the new game below:
Indie Gala and GhostShark Games’ voxel FPSBlockstormhas left Steam Early Access. The game is entering a full retail launch with six game modes, a level editor, and a character creator. The developers are teasing the release of an “interesting update” in the coming days.
Blockstormis a multiplayer shooter that mixes the very best of voxel-based world building games and classic FPS action. Players can pick from a variety of weapons, from the classic pistol all the way to world destroying RPGs. The level and character editors are the same full featured versions the developers used to create the stock maps and characters, giving modders and content creators lots of flexibility.
Blockstorm is available now on Steam for only $4.54 USD for the next seven days. Afterwards, the price will go back to the regular MSRP of $6.99 USD.
Are you sick of the criminal element in your town? Are you tired of taking a backseat while people you love are in danger? Are you in crippling pain but still have a strong desire to save your city? Well, then you too can Be the Batman!
All jokes aside, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios have released the new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight, titled “Be the Batman”. Directed by Tim Cronenweth and Jeff Cronenweth (director of photography for Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Fight Club) with Trent Reznor serving as a music consultant (i.e. placing the Nine Inch Nails song “The Wretched” in the trailer), this odd David Fincher Team reunion features real people (or actors playing them) taking a stand and becoming the Batman.
But enough with the parentheticals! Watch the new “Be the Batman” trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight:
Batman: Arkham Knight will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on June 23, 2015. Developed by Rocksteady Studios for WB Games, Arkham Knight features the voice work of Kevin Conroy, John Noble, Jonathan Banks, Ashley Greene, Troy Baker, Nolan North, Scott Porter, and Tara Strong.
With Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven set to be released in a little over two weeks, XSEED Games and Marvelous have released new details and tips regarding the game’s combat system as well as a tutorial video that you can check out below.
When entering combat, players will fight using aspects of a tactical role-playing game where players must carefully aim their attacks to “bowl” as many enemies over with one attack. There are five different elemental affinities in the game with each affinity having their own strengths and weaknesses. Four of these elements, Flame, Frost, Heaven, and Earth provide these bonuses while the neutral element Void provides zero bonuses.
When entering combat players can bring up to four of the game’s eight characters with each character having a unique affinity that XSEED has detailed below:
Luchs [Void affinity] – The game’s main protagonist and the only character with a default Void affinity, Luchs’ attack has an extremely small range, targeting only enemies directly in front of him. Luchs has very limited attack power, and is thus best suited to support skills.
Charlotte [Flame affinity] – High in physical attack power, Charlotte uses a close-range sword called “Flawless,” striking all enemies within a fan-shaped area directly in front of her.
Beatrix[Frost affinity] – Beatrix attacks from a distance with her bow gun, “Selbstgemachte Armbrust,” striking all enemies within a small circular area.
Elfriede [Earth affinity] – Elfriede attacks three times in succession with her machine gun, “OP4 Vulcan,” striking all enemies in a thin, U-shaped area.
Gabriele [Heaven affinity] – The only character with a default Heaven affinity, Gabriele’s attacks strike all enemies in a small, circular area directly in front of her. Her weapon is a chest called “Pandora’s Box,” and its contents can be seen by using her various skills.
Diana[Earth affinity] – Diana has good physical attack power, wielding a mid-range spear called “Kirin” to strike enemies directly in front of her.
Francesca[Flame affinity] – Francesca uses a pair of claws called the “Scar of God,” striking multiple times in a single turn. Like Charlotte, Francesca has high physical attack power.
Adelheid[Frost affinity] – Adelheid has high physical defense, and uses a shield called “Scutum Absolutae” to blow back enemies in close range.
As players spend more time with the heroines in the game, they can unlock special abilities by unlocking “Heart Events” that serve as the game’s relationship-building system and allow the player to learn more about a specific heroine.

A new trailer for Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven has been released by XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe and the focus of this trailer happens to be introducing not only the main character Luchs Eduard but the fairy maidens that will be joining him throughout the game.
You can check out the trailer below while the game itself is set to be released at retail and digitally in North America on June 2nd and digitally in Europe and Australia on June 4th. Character details for each of the characters have been provided by the company and can be found below:
Luchs Eduard
The owner of Famille Inn on the outskirts of Luneville. Recent events have made his normally pleasant and quiet life anything but, yet he can’t help but wear a smile through it all. Immeasurably kind, he takes pride in looking after his own, and places the concept of “Family” above everything else.
Charlotte
Nickname: Lottie
A bubbly faerie who was found encased in a massive crystal. Easy-going and sporting an infectious smile, she makes herself right at home at Famille Inn as a live-in maid. Unfortunately, while she’s a first-rate fighter, her domestic skills could use some more fine-tuning — something that’s particularly apparent whenever it’s her turn to cook dinner.
Beatrix
Nickname: Trixie
A self-proclaimed perfectionist who handles all daily chores at the inn with aplomb, especially cooking. She has a kind heart and is willing to jump through hoops to ensure that those around her are taken care of, even if playing the big sister can be a trying task. Her personal motto is: ”Efficiency is a fine companion to visual presentation.”
Elfriede
Nickname: Frieda
Was geht? An eccentric faerie who peppers her speech with foreign words from the east -though that’s the easiest thing to understand about her. A brilliant mind who’s far from shy, she divides her time between saying things that are a little less than appropriate and building new inventions, all for the sake of making those around her happy.
Gabriele
Nickname: Gabbie
The youngest of the seven sisters. She is one of the most social members of the family, having recently made some loyal subjects-er… FRIENDS- in town. Her bossy attitude comes solely from a desire to present herself as an independent adult, and the fact that she has a long way to go before she gets there is the root of much insecurity for her.
Diana
Nickname: Di
A born warrior and a brilliant strategist. Spending much of her life honing her spear-fighting skills has resulted in her missing out on some basic social etiquette – making her prone to some rather strange behavior from time to time. Still, at her core, she’s a sweet girl with an honest heart.
Francesca
Nickname: Fran
A warrior who fights first and asks questions later. Her dedication to exercise is second to none, and she’ll often work out from sunup till sundown. Part of her does it out of true passion, but part of her also does it to avoid interaction with others – not because she doesn’t want to, but because she finds herself behaving too awkwardly to hold a real conversation.
Adelheid
Nickname: Addie
The eldest of her sisters. Beautiful, strong, elegant and intelligent, she handles her position as the oldest with ease and has no shortage of admirers. However, most can sense that even with her perfect smile and perfect demeanor, she has her limits… and it’s best not to test them.
