Street-Fighter-V-(106)

It is getting rather late in the month and although Capcom announced that they would be releasing the first update for Street Fighter V, the one that would add in some of the, usually standard, content to the despairingly thin game this month, it looks like they are waiting to the last minute to do so.

Today the company revealed that on March 28th the update for Street Fighter V will go live and will add in the “Challenge Mode”, the ability to have reamtches against online opponents, improve the battle lounge, and fix various issues. Then two days later on March 30th the new fighter Alex will be added to the game.

Oddly enough, the update will not add support for the paid money Zenny right off the bat so until then, Alex will be available as a trial character and to make up for the fact that the update is coming so late, Chun-Li and Ryu’s story costumes will be temporarily available for free. The company touts this concept as being “an 80,000 Fight Money value, almost the full value of a DLC character.”

By combining different potions or food with potions their potency and variety of combinations can be increased. To top that off, players no longer need recipes to create potions and can now try and figure things out on the fly.

As for the cooking system, there are various “Rest Areas” that are scattered throughout levels and in these areas players can ask Pooka chef Maury to cook special meals for them to help recover heath and boost your experience gain.

New Exploration Adventure and Puzzle Game Arrives From Imaginative Studio Behind
 Machinarium and Botanicula

PRAGUE, Czech Republic – March 24, 2016 – Amanita Design, the independent developer of award-winning puzzle games like Machinarium and Botanicula, has launched Samorost 3 on Windows PC and Mac platforms. This point-and-click exploration adventure is a loose follow-up to the original indie hits Samorost (2003) and Samorost 2 (2005). It follows a curious space gnome who uses the magical powers of a mysterious flute to travel through the cosmos in search of its origins.

Samorost 3 is Amanita’s most ambitious experience yet, combining the intricate logic puzzles of Machinarium with Botanicula’s more relaxed gameplay and tone. Players will journey across nine uniquely alien worlds, each a distinctive ecosystem teeming with colorful creatures, characters, challenges, achievements and surprises to discover.

Brought alive by detailed artwork and expressive animations, Samorost 3’s surreal landscapes and lifeforms draw a balance between stylishly bizarre and believable. The game’s eclectic audio and soundtrack –composed by inventive musician Floex – are both abstract and atmospheric, frequently playing key roles alongside environmental clues in the game’s puzzles and mini-games.

Samorost 3 is out now for $19.99 through Steam, GOG.com, Humble Store, the Mac App Store, and the game’s official website: www.samorost3.net. Samorost 3 Cosmic Edition – containing the full game, 90-minute original soundtrack and 170-page digital art book featuring design drawings from creator Jakub Dvorský – is also available* for $24.99.

Samorost 3 is expected to launch on iOS and Android devices later this year.

*Cosmic Edition not available on the Mac App Store.

Ambush, Modify Weapons and Sabatoge the KPA Using Guerilla Warfare Tactics in Homefront®: The Revolution

Ambush, Modify Weapons and Sabatoge the KPA Using Guerilla Warfare Tactics in Homefront®: The Revolution

“Guerilla Warfare 101” Trailer Prepares Players For Single-Player and Co-Op Combat

Larkspur, Calif., March 24, 2016 – Deep Silver revealed today the “Guerrilla Warfare 101” trailer, the first in a series of new Homefront: The Revolution gameplay trailers. It showcases the type of gameplay and combat variety players can expect in the game’s single-player campaign as well as in the online co-op Resistance Mode.

Faced with the technologically superior forces of the KPA who are occupying Philadelphia in 2029, the Resistance needs to fight their war for liberation on their own terms. Urban guerrillas use their knowledge of the environment, their custom homebrew weapons, and their Guerrilla Toolkit to their advantage to even the odds.

As a guerrilla fighter in the Resistance you:

• MODIFY WEAPONS TO SUIT ANY SITUATION
Use the in-game and on-the-fly weapon customization system to tailor your weapons to your style of play. Add a silencer to infiltrate under the cover of darkness in a dynamic day and night cycle, or equip a muzzle break to forego stealth in favor of loud firepower. Equip different sights and scopes or different grips to go from short range mobile stability to long range accuracy.

• CONVERT WEAPONS FOR ON THE FLY UTILITY
Convert your pistol to a submachine gun, your assault rifle to a mine launcher, your crossbow to a flamethrower and more!

• USE THE GUERRILLA TOOLKIT TO TURN OPEN WORLD COMBAT INTO A TACTICAL PLAYGROUND
Use explosive and incendiary devices to ambush the KPA, distract patrols, or hack enemy cameras and drones to turn enemy tech against them. Modify any of your Guerrilla Toolkit items with a bit of good old American ingenuity; throw it, trigger it, lay a trap, or put it on an R/C Car to take direct control.

• USE THE TERRAIN
This city is your city. Learn your environment to know where to strike from, and where to escape to. In the urban population centers of the Yellow Zones, strike unseen and melt away in the city’s alleyways. In the war-torn Red Zones of Philadelphia, hit hard and unexpected, then jump on your motorbike to evade the inevitable KPA reinforcements.
