Get around the world in Combat Arms, but make sure to keep it quiet

New update invites players to take on new missions on foreign soil; new celebration event detailed

Shhh… Troops keep it down! This month online shooter Combat Arms has a brand new update locked and loaded in its chamber that will introduce a brand new map to its ever expanding line-up.

On April 20th players are invited to take on an international mission in new map, Silent Square. Set against the beautiful backdrop of a sunny continental European town, Silent Square, provides an intense and claustrophobic new combat experience. The threat of danger lurks around every corner, as the narrow cobblestone streets, market stands and cafés provide perfect cover for enemy mercenaries.

In addition to the new map, special celebration event “Around the World in CA!” will allow all players across the globe to get their hands on diverse types of EXP, GP and in-game items on a number of nation specific dates:

  • 20th April-3rd May – Europe Month – 5-shot event
  • 25th April-24th April – Australia/New Zealand – Country celebrate day
  • 27th April – Netherlands – King’s Birthday
  • 2nd May – Poland – Day of the Flag
  • 5th May – Mexico – Cinco de Mayo / Europe Day

The update also introduces a number of tweaks and fixes to the shooter, further enhancing players enjoyment in the heat of battle.

There really has never been a better time to take up arms. For more information on Combat Arms Silent Square map update and celebration event, visit http://en.combatarms.nexoneu.com/News/UpdateView.aspx?BoardIDX=826

CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III ECLIPSE, THE SECOND EPIC DLC PACK FOR THE TOP-SELLING CONSOLE GAME OF 2015, AVAILABLE NOW ON PLAYSTATION 4

Eclipse, the Highly-Anticipated Second DLC Pack from Treyarch, Features Four Multiplayer Maps, Including the Re-imagining of Call of Duty: World at War Classic, Banzai, and the Next Thrilling Chapter in the Origins Zombies Storyline

SYDNEY, Australia. – April 20, 2016 – Call of Duty®: Black Ops III Eclipse, the second DLC pack for the No. 1 top-selling console video game of 2015, Call of Duty®: Black Ops III, is now available on PlayStation 4 with other next-gen platforms to follow*.  PS4 gamers can jump right into the action across four new multiplayer maps, as well a new Zombies experience, which takes players to an undead island during the World War II Pacific Theatre in a thrilling new chapter of the Origins saga.

“We know that fans are playing the hell out of our current selection of multiplayer and Zombies maps, which is why we have been working so hard to deliver an epic new DLC offering with Eclipse,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head, Treyarch. ”Suit up…it’s time to kick some ass again!”

Players can now dive into Eclipse’s four multiplayer maps: Knockout, Spire, Rift; and Verge, a re-imagining of the Call of Duty®: World at War classic, Banzai.

  • Knockout: Housed in a traditional Shaolin Temple with a retro twist, Knockout sets the stage for a Kung Fu tournament. This mid-sized map showcases a sharp contrast between the mid-range engagements of the traditional exterior architecture and the tight close-quarters of an eclectic 1970’s styled interior.
  • Spire: Spire takes multiplayer combat to a futuristic sub-orbital airport terminal set high in the clouds. Multiple levels and open areas promote intense, mid-range combat around a clean, high-tech civilian environment. Watch your step, because one wrong move could send you plummeting back through the stratosphere.
  • Rift: Players can head to the core of a harsh futuristic military complex, set high above an active caldera. Rift funnels and forces tight, intense engagements, where the only way through is forward. Players must utilize the unique core movement opportunities to outsmart and outplay enemies, as they traverse the suspended rail system.
  • Verge: In this re-imagination of the classic Call of Duty: World at War map, Banzai, Verge drops multiplayer combat into the centre of a distant post-apocalyptic future, where two warring factions are entrenched in constant battle. Players must take control of the key bridge, fortresses, tunnel systems and waterfalls as they engage in high-speed action through this medium-sized map.

Eclipse also introduces the next highly-anticipated Zombies experience: Zetsubou No Shima, the second stop in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies storyline that spans the four DLC Map Packs for Black Ops III this year.  The popular Origins characters continue on their mission to stop the zombie apocalypse.  Our heroes find themselves stranded on a remote Pacific island, which is home to the Division 9 facility: a secret biological research lab whose experiments with Element 115 and its effects on human, animal, and plant biology has created horrors beyond belief.  Zetsubou No Shima features a foliage rich island map, including new terrifying zombie enemies, a variety of innovative transport mechanics, more devastating traps and classic Zombies side quests that fans will gravitate to.

Eclipse is now available at a discounted rate via the Call of Duty: Black Ops III DLC Season Pass**, which features four DLC Map Packs planned for the year, as part of the discounted bundle offered at a suggested retail price of AUD$64.95. Individual purchase of DLC Map Packs is at a suggested retail price of AUD$19.95.  Call of Duty: Black Ops III is rated R18+ for Blood and Gore, Drug Reference, Intense Violence and Strong Language.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Eclipse is available now on PlayStation 4 games and entertainment system from Sony, with other next-gen platform availability to follow*.

Umbrella Corps Antartic Base and Mutated Zombies Revealed

Umbrella-Corps-screenshot-(35)

Today Capcom revealed a brand new map for Umbrella Corps that fans who played Resident Evil Code: Veronica may recognize as well as the Mutated Zombies that will be appearing in the upcoming Resident Evil themed shooter.

The Antarctic Base, set within the Umbrella research facility, was never repaired after the deadly T-virus incident witnessed in Resident Evil Code: Veronica. The base remains in its heavily destroyed state, featuring a vertically expansive play area covering three floors that allow players to endure a thrilling fast-paced round of hide and seek gameplay.

Umbrella-Corps-screenshot-(37)

Also being added into the shooting mayhem are the special “Mutated Zombies” that can be found in the single player Experiment Mode’s Antarctic Base map and in the Multi-Mission Mode’s SP DNA Hunter ruleset. Featuring advanced states of mutation, there are many viruses spreading across the infected zones in Umbrella Corps and it’s unclear whether the T-virus or C-virus is responsible for these blood thirsty enemies
